Fantastic!! All the work was done in one day with a large crew. I know it was just replacing the old but my new deck is better than the version that was built with the house.

I truly hope that after this much time this company has cleaned up it's act. First he measured it wrong (by 30') and after the quote was signed, he wanted to charge me more. He finished both ends of the privacy back in the cedar pickets that were used on the sides and front. I had to pay someone else to come in to fix that - it looked horrible. The only reason I am on here now is to look for a fence repair person. 1/2 of the back is leaning in dangerously. The back is 150' so fixing this is not going to be easy. It appears that there are no upright posts for a very long length. The center lateral pieces just can't hold all that weight with the wind we have had. I was at work when it was installed, but my neighbors told me that the owner was on the phone in the driveway 90% of the time. His crew did not speak english, but did all the work. My neighbors fence (which was done by another company) is still standing tall and beautiful and it is two years older. They also did a home two houses from me that looks hideous. They did not cut the planks so it would be level so the whole thing looks like a zig zag. That was only 3 yrs ago.

I am re-modeling my 62 year old home. It's a fairly extensive re-model. I had an unsightly fence. My contractor recommended Better Decks and Fences, saying they did very nice work. I contacted the company the office staff. She was very friendly and efficient and set up an appointment to meet with the technician. The techician arrived on time. (Without exception. I would describe the company's communications with me as excellent.) I explained what options I was considering. He was efficient and seemed very experienced. In a very timely manner, he supplied me with costs for the four options we had discussed. I researched the costs he had quoted and was satisfied Better Decks and Fences prices were reasonable. I notified my contractor of the option I had selected and asked him to give the company the go-ahead. They called and scheduled a time to install my fence. They arrived on time. They appeared very organized and had all of the equipment and materials they needed. The supervisor of the job reviewed with me what we had agreed upon. It seemed he understood my needs perfectly. Because my fence is not for the protection of a dog, he recommended raising the fence, at no cost to me, a few inches off the ground. (It was quite a nice touch.) The technicians worked efficiently. The used a framing-type device to make certain the lumber was placed as straight as possible. The fence is beautiful. I could not be more pleased. I would use Better Decks and Fences again in a minute and will recommend them to my friends. They fully exceeded my expectations.

These folks were a pleasure to work with. They came when they said they would. They worked with us on changes we needed to make to get the best coverage. They were very considerate of our yard (newly sodded). The work was fast, accurate and beatifully done. Besides, they had a great price. We highly recommend them. They did a great job. They are professional, very responsive and sticking to the estimate given to me. They said they would be done in a certain amount of time and they were. They used quality materials too. They were everything I could have asked for.

We have an exuberant dog who sailed over our chain link fence like it was a hurdle. We finally decided to get a privacy fence after a year of having to take our dog out on a leash in our own yard. Mike came out in February and gave us an estimate that was slightly better (by a few hundred) than the others we'd received (some were around 3600). I've always heard that you shouldn't take the lowest estimate, but Mike has bigger dogs and was aware of all the modifications we could make if the 6 foot fence wasn't enough. We were also disgruntled, because we had a previous fence company we had used at a previous house, and their response to a repeat customer was to try to charge us 25% more than anyone else (4500!). We decided Mike was our guy, and we're thrilled. I had to postpone a few times, but when I finally let him put the fence up, he and his guys did a fantastic job. The pallet of posts and pickets arrives the day before, and they arrived promptly on Thursday morning to install the fence. Not only did he call me at work to approve a few choices he had to make like moving the fence over and removing some small trees, but he and his guys built a fantastic fence. Even some of our neighbors came to look at it. It's better than I ever expected. Mike doesn't cut corners or do shoddy work. There are no nickles and dimes (such as for removing shrubbery or greenery in the way). I can't recommend him enough!
