It went well! The guys showed up on time, worked hard, and got the yard looking nice.

They did a great job and it was very easy to schedule the work. My yard really needed some help and it looks perfect now! I would hire them again and highly recommend their services.

2nd Time around - Originally paid for six (6) hours of landscaping work, but there were problems with one of the employee's performance. Since that time, I spoke to the owners who came today to correct. I am very pleased with what was done by the new crew!

I was contacted very shortly after placing the order to schedule the appointment. The appointment was made for the following week and the team showed up on time. They listed to what I wanted as a priority and they got to work. I had purchased 4 man hours, so I had 2 people for 2 hours and they got almost everything done that I had on my list. This was a very easy transaction. I will consider them when I need additional work completed.

Mike and Shawn were great. They arrived with the window I was given. Listened and provided suggestions based on what I wanted done. Both were friendly and professional!! They left everything looking better!! Suzanne was a pleasure to work with as well.

When I talked to scheduling, I told them I wanted yard debris picked up and ivy cut on the side and in the back yard. I have a really small yard (as you can see from the picture) with most of the front yard having pine straw and wood chips so I assumed 6 hours worth of work would be good. Apparently the operator did not write down or did not communicate with the workers what I told her. Instead they cut the grass and pulled weeds in a small stone path and pulled some poison ivy (all three of which I did not want them to do in the first place). Also, they work worked 30 mins on my neighbors yard even though my yard markers are clearly visible because I just had it surveyed. If it was not for my neighbor pointing out the markers, they probably would have just worked them entire time on his side. So that 30 mins that that worked in someone else's yard equates to 1.5 hours of the 6 since becasue there was three of them. I called to complain and the person I talk to said they (3 of them) work hard for 2 hours but I really do not see it equate to my yard. They also cut down a blueberry bush I just planted. It had a tag left on it so I thought they would see it. They called me when they got there but I was unable to answer but I assumed they would look at the notes I gave the operator and everything would be fine. His message he left even mentioned cutting ivy and picking up yard debris so I am confused why they did the other things. They offered to come for another hour but I am too mad I would rather do it myself than have them back. I think my main issue with them is that if they knew they work 1.5 hour of the 6 hour time on someone else's yard, why not just make up for it while you are still here. They knew they messed up but did not say anything until I called and complained. The yard basically looks the same as before but with one less blueberry bush. The ivy that was cut on the side was already cut back. They did not even touch the ivy in the back yard.

It was wonderful!! Brian and his helper, cleared it all out, down to the ground. It looked fantastic! I was extremely pleased and in fact I will have him back to do more work for me. He is a very nice and polite man, very easy to deal with. I purchased the $149.00 special and got more than my money's worth. I highly recommend this company.

Thanks to Brian and Mike, I can enjoy my yard again! In fact, I wish we had some 'before' photos to compare with some 'after' ones because the difference is dramatic! Over the past several years, the adjoining woods have been taking over my large front yard. In particular, the vines (Virginia creeper, trumpet vine, wisteria, poison ivy, etc.) had gotten so bad that I just couldn't walk around very much. So, when I saw the Total Services deal at Angie's List, I grabbed it, even though I doubted they could make much progress. Well, I was wrong! In three hours, the two men, working in brutal heat, had managed to clear up the brush, mostly by hand. They took special care around my two little fishponds and adjoining patio areas so they look pretty again. I especially appreciated they concern for what I wanted while offering their professional advice when warranted so together, we were able to set appropriate priorities. I will definitely be calling them again to come out a couple of times a year so we can keep things under control in the future.

Went well. Workers were polite and actually earlier than expected. Performed as musc work as I could have wished for in the time alloted. Even stayed for another 15-20 minutes to "polish up". Would use again.

I bought the coupon on a Friday. THS called me that afternoon, but I wasn't home. They called me again on Sunday and reached me. I told them that the work I wanted done, in order of priority, was (1) to trim bushes so that they weren't so close to the house, (2) general trimming of bushes to neaten them up, (3) weeding, and (4) edging. THS came to my house while I was at work on Monday. This was very quick, and I was pleased with them for coming out so fast. I came home that afternoon and found that they had done some bush trimming and some weeding and they had mowed the lawn. However, the bushes were still in contact with the house, a number of bushes were still very sloppy, and there were still weeds all over the place. I am giving them a low grade because they did not follow my instructions. I clearly stated that my top priority was to trim bushes so they weren't so close to the house. They didn't do this. They did a little bit of bush trimming, but they spent time mowing the lawn (which I didn't ask them to do) and ignored the work that I wanted them to do. I was not home at the time, and maybe they would have followed my instructions if I had been there the whole time. However, I don't think I'd ever want to use a yard work company that is so bad at following instructions over the phone so that I have to be home every time they come.

I called Brian on a Thursday. He was available that Saturday promptly at our time set for 1:00 pm. He was easy to communicate with and very friendly. He began work on the issue promptly, climbing into a crawl space in the attic within 15 minutes of arriving. he spotted the issue rather quickly. I'd say no more than 15 minutes. He then patched up and painted the area of my ceiling to where I can't even tell. I would use him again and will refer to him to anyone. My friend that referred him to me swears he can fix anything. I really like him. He doesn't do a lot of small talk and gets right to the task. A+ if you ask me.
