He never showed up or replied to messages

I could not be more pleased with Total Home Services. This is the third time I have used them and I plan to use them exclusively in future. Brian always arrives on time and works miracles with my really problematic yard. He is extremely responsive to e-mail, text, and phone calls, so it's easy to communicate with him. Splendid work!

Promised to come by last Friday to give me an estimate. Never showed up or responded to messages after that.

Went well. Lawn looks the best it has in years.

Great! The wind had blown the lid off the vent near the roof. A couple of squirrels found their way into the attic. Our unwelcome guests left on their own, so we wanted to ensure they wouldn't return. We contacted Brian, who not only came promptly, but found a second vent that was open and fixed it too! No extra charge. Great people, great service!!

Used them for 2017-2018 and they were great. When 2018-2019 season came around at the end of the term the service, service went downhill. I received a text on Jun 13, 2019 from Brian and he stated: "My truck and equipment was stolen off a job this morning. Dealing with police stuff now. Just giving you a heads up. May take me a bit to get to you. Reaching out to some friends in the same business for help." -------------------- And never heard from them again. Mind you I had paid upfront for the year from Aug 2018-Aug 2019 in Aug of 2018. So I saw buyer beware with them.

I could not be more pleased with THS' work in my yard--hiring them was the best decision I've made in a long time! Scheduling was quick and efficient, Brian arrived exactly on time, and I was blown away by the quality of his work. My front yard had really gone to seed--there were weeds and overgrown shrubs everywhere and it hadn't been mowed in awhile. I bought the 4 hours of yardwork deal through Angie's List and in those four hours he literally transformed the front of my home. I couldn't stay while he did the work so he texted me photographs of the completed work and as I say, I couldn't be happier. Fantastic job!

This review is VERY late, but overall i was satisfied with the work / cleanup they provided. It is only later that I am writing this review, as I have been thoroughly disappointed with other companies, this one now stands out haha. I would not hesitate, I feel they provided great value for the money.

I couldn’t find a way to edit my first review, so here is this one...Overall should have been a “B”. At first it was great! They showed up when promised and performed the work efficiently. As time went by, however, family issues interfered with scheduling. I was understanding and we worked together; however, toward the end of the time, they did not return texts or calls, so I’m not sure what happened. They are a lovely couple though and worked hard while here. I would hire them again.

Total Home Solutions had a deal on Angie's list for $999 for a year's worth (25 Appointments) of Lawn care. The provider asked to be paid up front (which I should've never done). After 14 appointments, Total Home Solutions said he was done. In addition to not meeting his obligations, I always had to contact him to come out or it wouldn't get done. Many times it was weeks after I contacted him. This provider is not trustworthy and does not meet their obligations. Don't ever use.

Bryan and his helper did an excellent job.

Communication was good. Brian came out and did a walk through of the yard to understand what needed to be done. This was followed by a quote a few days later. We agreed to move forward and set a date. I followed up with a summary of the scope. Brian texted me a few days before the job was supposed to start indicating that the initial price he provide was incorrect and the new price was ~30% more. That was after I already told the other contractors that I had selected someone else. He admitted that it was his fault that the initial price was incorrect. It was not professional to go back on the agreement, so I did not move forward with the job at the higher price. Ended up hiring a different contractor who completed the job for less than the initial ("incorrect") quote.

It initially went fine. Then, their employees quit and it was only the husband and wife doing the yard work. Many times Total Home would cancel and reschedule. When we were getting close to the end of our contract, we had to call them numerous times to see when they were going to come out. We got tired of calling them. They were ignoring us. They did not return our phone calls. Total Home did not honor their contract. Total Home still owes us 4 visits.

Amazing service! Price was great, per hour and they did so much work within the 2 hour time frame. Correspondence was quick. Brian arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. We would recommend them without hesitation and would use again!!!

Do not and I repeat do not hire this company. They did a terrible job. My grass looks a mess so does my hedges. I am not sure how long they have been in business but they need to stop and get out of the business. When I tell you I had to walk them through several steps that in itself is ridiculous. I call them 2 men and do not know what they are doing. So please take my advice and do not contact this company go with the next company. I will never ever ever use this company again. They are a sorry excuse for a company

The THS crew is very professional. I had hired them for an overgrown yard and they did an excellent job. I will certainly hire them again for my yard cleanup/landscaping needs.

We first used THS last summer for spring cleanup of yard. Experience was good so decided to hire them a second time. Although we had some delays in scheduling (weather, etc.), they communicated as needed. They were prompt and completed our pretty heavy ask within the time allotted and overall did a terrific job!

they are amazing! both times i've had them come out to clean up the leaves in my yard, i've been so impressed. they show up on time, are professional, polite, friendly & responsive. they work hard & fast & get the job done super quick & as good as you could possibly do it. you can't find better, nicer people to do great work for a great price. will hire them again without hesitation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

They were not reliable to show up every two weeks. Asked about switching to monthly, we declined yet in the winter they only came monthly so I had to rake and blow leaves on my own . We paid upfront for 24 visits for up to an hour. I was home several times when they were here and gone in 20-25 minutes doing only the mowing and driveway blowing and nothing else on my list. In the fall they only did a fair job with the leaves. Asked them to come back on their last visit right after they left because they didn't do any of the items except mowing and blowing debris onto our front door. Refused to come back because it was their final visit and said they did what they could in an hour. I wasn't home this time to say for sure. But I would have been if they had shown up on Thursday as scheduled; but didn't show and didn't tell us they wouldn't be here. I'm not sure how others have gotten good service. Responses to negative reviews from provider is that communication is key. I left a note every visit with my expectations for the visit. Never received any communication as to why the items weren't addressed, nor why they didn't remain for the entire hour if there were still items on the list. I like to support local businesses, but I expect good service, professionalism and to feel like I got what I paid for :-(

I have hired this companies two years in a row and highly recommend their work.

I don't think it made a big difference. Maybe I did not make my expectations clear, but not something I would purchase again. I really could not tell the difference when they left.

Good but had to be rescheduled a couple of times due to the cold weather

Workers did a good job of transplanting a shrub but left yard debris at the street that I had to clean up and bag. They also left the strings from the pine straw bales beneath the pine straw they laid, which I later had to pull up and throw away.

We indicated back yard only. The was for up to 30 bags of leaves picked up. 30 bags were used. There was no compacting of leaves. They were prompt and did what they said they would do.
