Paid for twice monthly lawn care and the service is not performed as agreed. Company claims that 'weather' issues put them behind schedule. However, other Lawn Care companies in our neighborhood are able to service laws

Very badly. Brian, the guy in charge, managed to insult and greatly upset me and blame me for re-scheduling with his staff (once with his wife, who he said I shouldn't have believed, when my baby dog died unexpectedly and my appointment at the crematorium clashed with their arrival). I was told by his wife that there would be no problem re-scheduling. The re-scheduled appointment was then postponed because the guys that arrived out wanted to borrow my equipment and put a young guy I didn't know anything about on MY newly purchased rider mower. They had sent 3 guys for 2 hours (instead of the agreed 2 men for 3 hours), and one of the guys was standing around with no equipment listening to music on his headphones, and I asked if he had any experience as he looked so young, and I was told he had just been brought in to help out. The supervisor explained to me that Brian had a last-minute problem with being there as booked as his son was graduating. I was very pleasant and understanding because Suzanne had been so accommodating and I asked the supervisor to please stress to the company that I was not re-scheduling for my sake, but to accommodate them. He spoke to Brian while on my property and got agreement to re-schedule with no blame attached to me. The company then did not reply to my repeated requests for the appointment and when they finally did, I was blamed for all the re-scheduling (including the morning after my dog died) and I was offered a refund. I was waiting since April 12th when they were paid, and I did not hire others as I had this service booked, and my grass is now out of control in terms of me being able to cut it myself. I have to go and find others to cut what was an easier job if it had been done as promised. I don't ever want to deal with the rude unprofessional owner of this company who even insulted his own wife as well as me. At one point he challenged the terms of the deal and said that despite the agreement for 2 guys for 3 hours, yes, he would stand by sending 10 men for 12 MINUTES work as that 'fit into the terms of the deal'. A refund does not pay for the service I now have to get done, or the amount of stress and upset this company has put me through (especially at a very difficult time). It reflects very badly on Angie's list that a company like this is listed (and Brian did not even want to honor the promo as he complained it was done by Angie's List and out of his control or liking). It was obvious at the start in April that the company had taken on too many of the promos and wanted to dump clients who had paid for it.

Shocking when I found out the $250 annual fee was merely a "reservation fee" and that I owed $750 more for the annual service which is $999. I read everything in the ad and would never have signed up had the price been clear. Suzanne informed me I need to contact Angies List for a refund. I have contacted them twice via e-mail (no phone service) to no avail...finally sent it through as a dispute with my credit card company. Not that the price may not be fair but the advertising was super shady.

All is going well so far, the workers are courtesy and on time. However there was one incident were one of the workers cut mamas hosta, which the company offered to replace. As of today I would hire/recommend the company to family and friends. Sometimes scheduling may be a little off or delayed due to weather or running behind schedule.

The arrived 2 hours late but they did a good job once they got started.

They knocked out everything I had planned for them. I was happy with the work and plan on using them for future projects.

The guys came in and mowed, edged, trimmed, cut the bushes into submission, and cleaned up afterwards. Amazing results.

It was okay. They didn't come the time they said they would. I waited for them they were a little bit late. Then I came back, and they did an okay job, but they didn't not spend 6 hours. They got done what I wanted done but they got it done quick, but there could be a little bit more work. I would use them again but I would just tell them that I want to be there when they do the work. 6 hours would have been great but that was not 6 ours. They could have cleaned up a bit more. They only did what was on the instructions. They did like a child they only did what you told them. I would use them in the future as long as they could be punctual. I did have a problem scheduling with them. They said they were really busy and they had to put me out 2 or 3 weeks. It was an okay job.

Everything is going good so far. No complaints. I think I have had 3 visits now and everything has been fine so far. I thought it was priced fairly. They show up when they are supposed to. Nice crew.

Went OK. Wish they were still offering this service. Spring leave/flower cleanup still needs to be done.

They showed up on time, completed the work in an hour including filling 14 bags of yard debris. Good value for the money. This is the second time I've used THS and will continue to use them in the future.

The crew showed up on time. They were friendly and went straight to work. They didn't 'milk' the two hours I paid for. They worked hard and fast.

When they called to schedule they were very nice on the phone but could not perform the work for four to six weeks. Unfortunately, I had to cancel as I needed the work done sooner. Angie's list customer service provided a prompt refund as they were not able to find anyone else to perform the service. I had to go outside of Angie's list to get a provider.

Terrific. Communications is strong - I had several emails back/forth prior to engaging to describe my needs, as well as a phone conversation. Listened to my requests, did a very nice job, cleaned up afterwards. I have hired them to do more work this month. THS is one of the the unique contractors who actually communicate well, deliver on their commitment, show up when scheduled and clean up afterwards. How nice.
