Walt was great. Did everything we asked and stayed late to make sure it all got done. We would use him again in a heart beat.

After some miscommunication and mixup with addresses led to a late arrival, Walt from TC Locksmith was very pleasant to work with and did the job professionally and quickly and made adjustments to the bill because of the delay in start time which I appreciated very much. I would recommend and use his services again in the future.

They were able to schedule me the same day that I purchased the offer. Provider was running a bit late but called to let me know. Three doors were included in the deal that I purchased through Angie's List and he re-keyed a fourth door for $17.

I needed locks rekeyed on a new residence in an emergency situation. I had moved in on Friday and crew finishing up renovation work did not leave keys in their normal place. Since now had furniture, etc in house, it needed to be secured. Walt answered his phone and although it was noon on a Saturday he agreed to come out that afternoon. (No other locksmith I called night before or early in the morning either answered their phone or returned my call till after Walt left.). Although I did not ask for the Angie's List deal he was offering at the time he brought it up so I got a price break there. He even called to advise was running slightly late. Once here we went through the house and he completed the work quickly and professionally. There was one lock missing a part and he offered to go pick up another one since did not have one with him. But he also explained what I needed to do if wanted to replace it myself. I appreciate when anyone tries to save me money. Definitely would recommend him to anyone needing this service. His is one of the few business cards I'm hanging onto.

It was kind of complicated when they did call back and we wanted him to work on a cedar chest and the guy explained to my wife that would definitely run into big deal and I all could do his punch it out, which is about all that we could do either. He gave us an honest answer and he didn't have to come out for that one. He called on the phone that is all I know. I would have felt more comfortable if he come out and actually and looked at the thing and mumbled something rather but all my wife told him not to okay. If we needed a regular locksmith for regular lock I guess I would use them again.

The tech completed all work per the special. He also completed a fourth door for $37. The tech was on-time and very professional.

Walt was great getting back to us when setting up an appointment. The appointment was set at least a week before needed, for between 4-5 pm, at our rental house. He called to confirm the appointment 2 days prior. Unfortunately, he did not arrive until after 5pm and without a call to us that he was running late. Walt is very knowledgeable with his craft and did a great job overall. We would use him again!

The deal worked out well and the service was excellent. They were on time and did a good job.

Excellent! One of the best experiences I've ever had with any service provider. From the first time we spoke on the phone about possible schedule slots the gentleman was very courteous and seemed interested to help me. I was surprised that he was able to rearrange his schedule on short notice....He came out the very same day we spoke! Then the real fun began. When he arrived the job was a little different than either of us expected but he did not miss a beat. He sized up what needed to be done and told me exactly what it would cost only if he had to use additional resources/parts etc. In the end he completed a high quality job in a very efficient manner....all the while remaining very courteous. I would DEFINITELY recommend and have already placed him in the "speed dial" of my phone!

Scheduling was easy, the work was performed well and for a good price.

I lost the only key to my 2006 Mazda3 and found myself in a difficult situation. For a Mazda dealer to cut a new key and program the transponder chip, the car must be present at their location. The closest dealership is about 40 miles from my home and towing would cost at least $150. Then the dealer was going to charge $250 for a single key. I called several locksmiths and they all realized that I was at their mercy in terms of pricing. I found TC Locksmith here on Angie's List and Walt was friendly and professional from the moment he answered my call. He needed to get back to his office to check on exact pricing and he called me back within a few hours. His price was more than fair at $180 including the 35-mile drive to my location! I asked about the cost of having a second key made and he made a second key for only $45 more. Other locksmiths wanted at least an extra $100 for the second key and the dealer wanted another $250 for a second one! I called him on a Friday afternoon and we scheduled an appointment for the following Monday afternoon. Walt ran into some traffic and was concerned that he might be a few minutes late, so he called to let me know the situation (which I could certainly understand). He still arrived on-time and was very friendly and professional. He provided exactly what I requested at a price that was more than fair! He had already tested the keys, but had me start the car with both of them just to double check. I will not hesitate to call TC Locksmith if I ever need locksmith services again! I will also recommend them to my friends and family without reservation. If you need an honest, ethical and fair locksmith, look no further- this is your guy!!!

We did have one lock that had to be charged $40 extra due to the fact that it was messed up from construction and had never worked properly and so it took a lot of extra effort to rekey. Otherwise, great experience! My total was as quoted and paid all other locks as we had discussed.

Called on Saturday. He came that afternoon on time. Very professional. Promptly completed the job.

He's very professional and offered advice which was very economical. His prices were very competitive and his service was excellent. The installation was very quick.

They charged me under a $100. I don’t remember the exact price but it wasn’t shocking. The keys got stuck in the latch and it broke, luckily, I was inside though so Walt Chatham came out and fixed it. This wasn’t the first time I had used him. I was trying to find a locksmith that was open on the weekend and he was one of them.
