The technician arrived at the time specified and used shoe covers to come in the house. He was very polite, explained what he planned to do and asked directions to the furnaces. When he had given them a thorough exam he explained that he had found no problems and that he did not need to change the filters as they are once a year filters and mine were still very clean. He told me that they would be changed on the spring visit because of their age.

They showed up on time (early morning) and completed the work quickly. We had to call him back within 24 hours however because the fan was making a vibrating noise. He came back, made an adjustment and apologized for our inconvenience. There were no delays.

When we bought this home in 2011, the home inspector noted to us that the HVAC system had insufficient return ducts (basically out of balance with the supply ducts). Of the seven company reps from whom we got estimates for our new system, Kyle was one of only three who caught the problem and built a fix for it into Reliable's estimate. The installation crew showed up on time and got right down into our crawlspace to remove the old system and get the new one in. They had to do some new duct work, as mentioned. This was a typically hot summer day, but the crew members paced themselves and kept working. In the early afternoon, the team leader got sick and had to leave, but made sure that his colleague had everything needed to keep going and also saw to it that another installation technician was sent over by Reliable. The result of this was that the job took an hour or so longer than it might have otherwise. And with the switch up in installer's trucks when the one man needed to leave, the replacement guy's truck was shy one piece of furnace exhaust duct pipe. The crew told us this when they left and Reliable's installations manager called the next morning to schedule a follow up for that leftover part of the job. As I mentioned, it was a piece of furnace exhaust pipe that needed to be installed later. As this was the sweltering first week of August, I didn't feel a particular urgency to making sure the furnace installation was complete, but within a couple days, Reliable's technician came by to finish the job. Considering that I found out the next day the guy who had to leave drove himself to the emergency room at a nearby hospital, I wasn't bothered in the least that the job took a little longer than planned. One other thing: Reliable, like the other HVAC contractors, offers an ongoing service agreement, but, unlike some of the others, does not do a hard sell to push customers into buying it.

I got it at a good price. It was the system I wanted. I dealt with the owner. They were highly knowledgeable techs. They were thoughtful. They didn't track dirt into the house. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional. It was a very pleasant experience.

I called for an estimate and Kenny came out the next day. He was very knowledgeable and relayed the information and choices we could consider in a way we could understand. He emailed the estimates with several options later that same day. We had a great comfort level with him compared to the other two companies that bid. It was obvious he wanted us to get the best possible units that we could afford and thoroughly explained our options. His workmen started about a week later and a large crew came the first day to tear out the old furnace and duct work. It was cold and drizzling rain and they were in a dark cold crawlspace all day. But each of them were so pleasant and worked all day. Second day Jeremy and Fernando came and worked all day with about an hour break. They were both so pleasant to work with. Last day they came back with one more worker. Nobody ever wants to spend $7000 on something you can't even see but honestly my husband and I both felt it was money well spent. We were extremely pleased and I would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. We had such a trust level with Kenny and his company from our first visit with him. He does not miss a detail and is so thorough and sincere and genuine. You can't put a price on feeling trust in someone and confident you made the right choice! I also intend to use them for any future plumbing needs we might have.

Both men arrived on schedule and seemed convivial but, more importantly, really knew what they were doing. I'm very confident in their work. And they cleaned up well ? you'd never know they were here.

twenty-five year old furnace had cracks in the heat exchanger and was possibly unsafe to use, The weather had been so mild for the past five or six weeks, we had not needed heat. Weather forecast predicted a dramatic change in temperature on 10/27 as hurricane Sandy began to affect the weather. We called Reliable on 10/25 and they came out on 10/26 AM and installed our new furnace and we had heat by noon.Reliable arrived when they said they would. They did exactly what they had committed to do within the time estimate. After installation, they cleaned-up the work area and left it as they found it. The two technicians that did the work were polite, professional and thorough. I will recommend to friends & family.

The service turned out fine. They did the service promptly and they did a great job as the job was pretty difficult. They had to go into the attic and replace a coil and it was very hot at that point. The price they gave was the best estimate we received and we have had no problems since the installation. They cleaned up after themselves as well.

Mike and John were on time and were very courteous. They were easy to talk to and seemed knowledgable when discussing the problem. We decided to have them replace the thermo cupel (which is what the other plumbing company did for us as well). Apparently, the other company NEVER changed the thermo cupel because Mike found the original one still on the hot water heater!! I am thankful that they found the real problem and actually fixed my hot water heater!

They were great. In the end they just needed to turn on a switch so instead of charging me for an entire service call, they performed an inspection (which is cheaper than an unknown service call). I was really happy with their resolution and not overcharging me to come out just to turn a switch on. I appreciate their honesty.

The tech arrived on time and I explained what I wanted look at. He got to work quickly and came back with his report. He told me that both of my issues could not be fixed and the units should be replaced. He also took photos of other issues that needed to be fixed. Although I appreciated this I know my units are old and need a lot of work and should be replaced. What my biggest problem is that the work I paid for was not done. When I asked the tech If he had changed the air filter he said no that they looked fine. After he left I started thinking about it and realized that the filters had not been changed in 6 months and since I have 2 dogs I know they needed to be changed. I contacted them about this and they said they would send someone out to replace it. I waited a couple of weeks and decided to get in the crawl space and do it myself. The filter was covered in dirt and dog fur. I sent a photo of this to company and never heard another word from them. I am hoping that him not changing the filter was just laziness and not intentional dicit. On a side note, I told a co-woker about my experience. He had just got a quote from this company to change out two units at a cost of $10K and was going to go this them. After hearing of my ordeal he decided to go with a different company. Funny how two $5 filters cost them a 10K job.
