From beginning to end my experience with Reliable Heating & Air was positive. For both the estimate and installation appointment, I was kept me informed as to their likely arrival time. When running behind (due to an understandable delay), my technicians (Jorge & Erik) contacted me and kept me apprised of their likely arrival time. The estimate appointment did not feel rushed, even though it was the last appointment of the day. Jeff answered all of my questions, and made sure that I fully understood the information in the quote. I felt confident that I was provided with the information that I needed to make an informed decision. The technicians who performed the installation were excellent. It was not an easy job as the utility closet where the indoor unit was located was very tight, and there were concerns about damaging other equipment during the removal. Nonetheless, they came up with a plan to safely remove the old unit, and install the new. They didn't rush the job, were thorough, and ensured that the job was completed to high standards. Since installation, everything has been working perfectly. I am very pleased with my experience with Reliable, and will not hesitate to contact them again in the future.

It's never a good sign when water is coming out the bottom of the AC unit. The technician came onsite within the same day, climbed up into our sweltering hot attic and had everything figured out and fixed within twenty minutes. Our AC condensate drain line was severely clogged and I was unable to clear it out. The technician had tool that blew high pressure air bursts down the line and that finally cleared out the clog. I highly recommend using Reliable. They are very easy to do business with and their pricing is very fair.

We were purchasing a house and splitting the cost of a replacement HVAC system with the seller. The work needed to be scheduled prior to closing while minimizing disruptions for the seller. We made an appointment to have access to the home and to meet the "Reliable" representative to have a quote prepared. After waiting an hour at the home, we were able to reach the office who confirmed that the rep had stood us up and that no other rep was available. We completed the work quickly and easily with another firm.

We were really pleased that Kyle understood air flow and could address our concerns and issues. Our installation team was top notch. We hit a few snags during the process due to office scheduling issues and they worked it out. Glad we made this choice.

Jesus and Frank did an awesome job replacing the gas furnace and air conditioning in my home. The system was old and they were up to date on the code so I was reassured they did things right. Highly skilled working with gas pipe, pvc exhaust through the foundation and duct work. Reliable was the lowest bidder of three. I needed the furnace moved back several feet and their work looks great. They stayed 13 hours to make sure the job was done right (and in one day). They were pleasant and very hard workers. Thanks, guys!

When the driver tell me he will be here in 15 minutes and I'm waiting and he drives by the house and calls his dispatch that he ran to the next job. It wasn't more than 5 minutes. Poor communication. They have too much business. Good. I'll move on.

At first I was shocked at the price. But it appears the tankless water heater installed, at least at retail cost was right at $2000.00. With a couple of required add ons it appear the cost to install was around 3000.00. After review, I felt that was somewhat high, but with Reliable, I've no doubt any issues will be taken care of, so I am comfortable with what I paid. This was a large syster. After installation there was an issue where the heater ran out of hot water after about five minutes of showering; this after supposedly these systems do not run out. The installer was professional, courteous and prompt. When I complained about the system not working well, Reliable sent someone out and it was fixed. They system now gets hot water to us more rapidly, which saves water (though the savings will never recover the cost), and it appears hot water will not run out even when multiple faucets are being used, as long as you remember to press what is called a "recirculate" button on the unit which is installed outside in our garage. It will remain to be seen if the system itself is satisfactory, but now that the glitch was fixed, it appears to be working well. The reason I would hire them again falls on the professionalism of the installer and the team that came back out to deal with the one glitch.

Very thorough and professional. A very good mid-grade Trane system. Installation went smoothly. Much better than the builder’s grade heat pump system that it replaced. I hope to see energy savings.

Firstly,Kudos to Ashley(customer Rep) & Eric (Service Mgr). Ashley put me in touch with Eric & Eric sent a tech my way to address the negative feelings I had about Reliable. Robert W. arrived right on time, called first to say he was on his way. He quoted a price for replacing my Honeywell supplied whole house steam humidifier - it was a swap out, of basically the same model. He performed the swap out quickly & tested it before he left. I received the unit from Honeywell, essentially under warranty.

Reliable has taken very good care of us on a number of occasions. The technicians are professional and very knowledgeable.

The work was done well and the job was completed in about one hour. The charge was $542.00 in the end. Very high. Next time, I'll try another company.

The service prior to the technician coming on site was great. Nice representative who took my appointment, followed up with a service slot, and also received a call/email when the technician was on his way. The technician was nice enough, wore booties on his shoes to not track mud inside. I explained the issue that my upstairs A/C unit does not seem to be cooling even though I can feel air blowing. He went upstairs in the attic to investigate, and then went outside to see the A/C unit. He came back inside to ask where my circuit breaker was, and I pointed him to it in the basement. After a few more minutes, he comes back to talk to me telling me that he's found and fixed the issue, and that it would be a $145 charge (in addition to the $90 service fee). I was confused and asked him why he didn't let me know prior to making the 'repair' of what the additional charge would be. He said that the repair was to turn on the A/C from the breaker (apparently it had tripped and I was not aware), and that he needed to perform that action to continue to 'investigate'. In addition to the unexpected 'repair' fee, he tried to upsell me a maintenance package for another ~$250 (no thank you!), and told me that my unit doesn't have a safety system for water drainage and my ceiling might cave on me one day (scare tactics are not appreciated) - and that could be fixed for another ~$350. I felt like I was being fleeced and told him that I would not be paying the $145 repair fee because I was not told ahead of time, and I do not feel comfortable with the tactics of this company to sign up for any maintenance package or want any additional repair from them. He insisted that I should pay the $145 for the work that he did but said he would waive the service call - but I disagreed and eventually (after 5 minutes of arguing back and forth) he gave up. What kind of company performs repairs without giving the customer prior knowledge and the ability to approve/deny? If the breaker was tripped, and he needed it turned on to perform the rest of his analysis, he could have informed me upfront of the cost and allowed me to do the 1 second job of flipping the switch myself. Would not recommend.
