The service person came out and assess what was wrong. He said that the pipe was clogged and proceeded to "blow" out the pipe from the debris. All good. I then asked him if he was going to fix the pipe (put back together) and he said, I won't get the ladder down for that in this heat. Come to find out he had a fear of heights. It was about 16 ft off the ground. So my pipe is still broken. The leak is fixed. This was the "secondary" overflow pipe.

Called June 17 and scheduled 2 service calls. I was very detailed indicating age, model of units and what needed to be done. Having owned condo for 20+ years I was familiar with every aspect of it and had experienced poor service from another large Atlanta based HVAC company. Dates set up: June 24 & 25 between 10AM - 1PM. 1st was condo and 2nd house. On the 24th did not get a "on my way" call and phoned them at 11AM asking for ETA on technician. Was told that I was not on schedule because "trainee" took call week prior and did not indicate Condo even though I mentioned it several times, was very detailed and even had her repeat back information indicating floor location, type of building and address. I understand the need to train new hires and it is important. Issue here is that they DO NOT review the trainee's work for accuracy. I would have never received a call and appointment would have been ignored had I not made the effort to call. Since they never admitted they made an error and could not accommodate that day (it was their mistake!) I changed my next day (home) appointment on the 25th to the condo. On the 25th I still did not receive a "on my way" call and called to cancel appointment. Was told that there was a tech on the way after our discussion but I lost faith that my A/C system would be serviced properly. I called a competitor, got prompt same day service at a fraction I was quoted. I realize large staffed organizations are hard to manage (and costly) but I feel this has become too big that they are really not interested or want to put in the effort with new customers. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I went with a newer, smaller company and the tech was great. The front office directly effects the tech's out in the field.

All 3 of the technicians were friendly, and all 3 were very professional. They all gave quotes and handled the list we gave them with no problem. I would say their price was a little steep, but to have a year warranty on the work and know that the company stands by their service, is worth the extra cash to me. Will absolutely call Reliable again for our new home!
Description of Work: Selling our house, we had some repairs and requests from the buyer. Reliable had 3 out of the 4 people we needed to complete the list and all came at the same time.

Service was scheduled for the morning of June 1, but the technician didn't show up until about 6:30 p.m. I had things I needed to do and ended up wasting my time staying at home. When it was past noon and I hadn't heard from Reliable, I called and was told the technician had 2 appointments ahead of me. When it got to be 5:30 and still no technician, I called again and was told there was 1 more appointment ahead of me and that there had been no service window for the morning (just for the day in general). That was not my understanding when I booked service. There was no proactive call(s) from Reliable to confirm my service appointment or to let me know the technician wouldn't arrive until late in the day. I use Reliable for my HVAC and electrical needs because the technicians are polite and do good work, but I was very disappointed in the lack of communication. I don't think it is at all reasonable for a technician to show up at 6:30 p.m.

I am a very dissatisfied customer, who will refrain from doing business with this company in the future. Approximately, one and half years ago, one of your representatives sold me an (over) $8,000 unit for my home. I scheduled maintenance for this unit and an upstairs unit early May. The representative confirmed that someone would come out to service both units on Saturday, May 18, 2019. I even indicated to the young lady that I did not want Reliable to come after dark because of safety reasons. She stated that she would have them call me if they would be running late. Because the company gives a wide timeframe to visit, I did not schedule other appointments or run the ample errands I needed to run on Saturday. . After approximately 5:00 p.m., I contacted Reliable to determine the approximate time the guy would arrive and the young man who answered the phone indicated that he did not see an appointment for me on May 18th. He asked if I had canceled one on May 1st (the day I called to schedule the May 18th appointment). After further research and sensing my frustration, the representative scheduled me for Monday, May 20th at 4:00 p.m. Today, I waited until after 4:00 to call and confirm today’s appointment at which the representative indicated that I didn’t have an appointment for today. When I voiced that I had purchased an $8,000 unit from Reliable, she placed me on hold and returned stating that someone would come out, but it would be late (after dark…around 9:00 or 10:00 p.m.), which is an unreasonable time to come to my home. Since I am somewhat desperate about getting my units serviced, I took the appointment. I was later informed that Reliable is known for canceling maintenance calls to get to the problem calls, which yield more money. Therefore, Reliable cancelled my appointments (without informing me) twice to respond to clients who had no air. I believe I was charged as if I had an issue for one of my units when the technician finally came. I reached out to Reliable's manager and owner and have not as of yet received any responses from them.

Technician arrived on time and cleaned all ducts (three zoned system). Air quality is great and we have no more sneezing. We had them come out a separate date to service all of the blower units and condensers. All work was done thoroughly and on time.

Very bad at timing and scheduling. Got scheduled to have a plumber coming to fix a leak on the 12th, got a call on that morning saying the person that scheduled the service was not doing her job right and no one would be coming that day. Got scheduled again to have a plumber coming today, called to make sure that no more nonsense is happening, got told morning window is 8-10 for a plumber to get to a job-site, it's 950, still no show. We couldn't quite use water as usual due to leak-detection company had drilled holes on our floor and we only did that because we thought a plumber would be here on Friday. At 10, the plumber called saying he's 45 mins away. Tech seems knowledgeable and professional. Update on 4/16 Now there is a hole on the floor waiting for the tech to come and fill it with concrete. said he would be here at 830. Nope.

I’m was a heating/air customer who was in need of plumbing service. After calling after hours but still speaking with one the company reps around 7 p.m. on Feb. 25 about a two plumbing problems, they noted I would receive a call on Feb. 26 to schedule. I did receive that call around 8 a.m. on Feb. 26. The woman I spoke with noted the 2 issues I called about. She noted my appointment window for Feb 26 would be after 3 pm and I’d receive a call to confirm when they were on their way. Two hours later, I hadn't received a call so I called to check in. The gentleman I spoke with said there was no record of my appointment and could not work me in the schedule. I explained the above again and he said there was no record if this. Frustrated that a company called "reliable" was so unreliable... They called me to confirm my service appointment and I left work to be home for it. I’m now left with the problems, no plumbing appointment and a company that could care less… The gentleman offered no apology and pretty much blamed me since there was no record of the calls. I will be taking my business elsewhere – for heating & air too. Sharing this review since they are sadly an Angie's List award winner. I would wholeheartedly disagree. Horrible customer service.

Jeremy(Not sure spelling) did an amazing job. Took him 30 seconds to know what the problem was, had part in truck. Called today at 3:00 pm and he was here at 5:30, out in half hour This is my first review for anything. I fired the horrible home warranty company we had after he left, the person they gave me did not show up or even call - appointment made 4 days before. I will call Reliable first, very clean, professional and good. My co-worker told me he used them and they did a very good job.

Having used them many times over the years they truly are "reliable" and also accurate. To help prove this point after moving to a new house I used another supposedly reputable vendor to service the HVAC and told them 1 particular thing I noticed and they said all was well and no problem. Without my telling Reliable about it when they came to analyze it and prepare to put in a new unit I wanted they asked me about that same issue and I told them they get gold stars because I didn't tell them the problem, they told me! BINGO! I now have a new larger unit (recent house addition needed new system) and I have no hesitation with recommending/using them in the future.

We've had "Reliable" out four times now for the same repair and the only thing reliable is that they tell use they will charge a service fee for coming out, though I acknowledge that we have gotten them to waive the fee twice. We have a leak from a pipe into our basement and the plumber only wants to blame the foundation because the water is leaking in through a pinhole in the concrete. I agree that that is where the leaking is occurring but this is certainly not why the leak is occurring. Initially the plumber didn't even agree that there was a leak, despite the pool of water. The foundation crew recommended the simple check of turning off the water to the house and see if the meter would still detect water flowing indicating a leak: and the leak was detected. If it wasn't for the re-construction team today, going above and beyond their work and staying on top of things this morning, the leak wouldn't have been identified by the Reliable plumber again! For me the final straw was when at day 31, the Reliable operator said they would charge us a service fee today since it was beyond the 30-day window of the last visit. I'm done with Reliable.

A little strange. I got a call as I received the list of plumbers. It was Plumb pros plumbing at 1700 Cumberland Point Dr. SE, Steve Marietta, GA 30067. #770-384-1856. They were on the list that was e-mailed. I booked with them not the company Reliable Heating. Plumb Pros were great and I would use them again. I was booked on the day and at the time I wanted. He was on time and professional. The project took only 10 minutes. He answered other questions I had honestly. He cleaned up before he left. I'm very satisfied.

Ted/comfort specialist was sent out by Reliable to inspect and assess the original heat and air units in the home. After through inspection and we discussing the old units and all the years they were in service and the condition, determined all needed replacing. We then scheduled installation date for the new units. Installers Jordan & BJ arrived on Oct. 25, and installed the units. Both men were very courteous and cordial. Worked tirelessly installing units in the home and making sure everything was working properly. Explained and showed how everything worked before leaving.

Had a lightening strike on the house. Had Reliable come out and fix the AC on the downstairs unit. They had to order a new computer board for the AC. Reliable also was tasked with checking the rest of the house. They replaced the circuit breaker box. After all of the work was done, a month or so later, they also came out for the maintenance on the units. Then, when it got cold, the heater didn't work. The reason given was that the first service men didn't check the heat function as it was warm out. This cost me $605 that wasn't covered by the insurance for the lightening strike.
