The problem we were experiencing with our circuit breaker was more involved than thought, and a return trip was necessary. The circuit powered an outdoor light post. Rain water was getting into the electrical connection causing the circuit breaker to trip. Richard Grayson rewired the connection and waterproofed it -- all under a no-charge warranty -- and now, no more problems; another GREAT experience!

David and David were GREAT! They were on time, friendly, and efficient. They cleaned all of my registers and vents and fixed a big problem we had with our dryer line! They went above and beyond to help us! Would highly recommend to others. The air in our house already feels cleaner and they made our house a much safer place for the family!

They have been great. I have been using them for 2 years. I will sign a contract again for them to come out twice a year.

After 32 years of living in the same house that we built we noticed that the dusting was getting a fine lint to it. We called Reliable Heating and Air. They were very prompt at making a schedule we could work with and send two technicians, Josh M. and Kai out to do the work. Both were extremely courteous and a pleasure to deal with. They took before pictures and after.... We did need our ducts cleaned... the whole house smells cleaner and I am sure our dusting will get back to a normal schedule and be better for us. They arrived on Saturday as expected and began work quickly. They seemed experienced and worked efficiently as a team. We think they were very professional and did a great job.

Technician Joel Desir called 30 minutes prior to arrival to let me know when he would be here. Once he arrived, he was very courteous and explained what he would be doing, asked me where the inside parts (thermostats and returns) were located in my house, and got right to work. He let me know when he would be working inside or outside, was very professional, and did not attempt to up-sell me on a new unit since my old one works fine (although it isn’t very efficient). I really appreciated that part. I would use Reliable again and know that Joel Desir is a competent, trustworthy technician.

It went perfectly well he was a great guy to work with - and I would recommend him to anyone who use Reliable Air the future. The technicians name who worked on our system was named Ellory.

They've been completing the seasonal check ups for a couple years. Everything has gone well.

Scheduled initial consultation with Frank Vlahos after our Air Conditioner on our top floor failed. Frank was extremely professional and thorough making several recommendations on improvements during the installation of two full Trane HVAC systems in our house. Additionally, Reliable delivered two window AC units to keep us cool during the seven days between agreement on the installation to the day of the installation - a very nice touch. On the day of installation of two new systems, two teams promptly arrived for the installation - Jeremy Carlson & Phil Hogsed installed the downstairs system and David and LT installed the upstairs systems. Upon completion of the installation, Jeremy reviewed the new digital thermostat and connected the systems together through WiFi. He assisted in the online set up and tested both systems were running smoothly. Overall an excellent experience with a very professional provider.

It took longer than I'd like for Reliable to schedule someone, but they did make an effort to squeeze me in as soon as possible, and Clevelaiin Davis, who has come out to my home before, was professional and courteous as usual. I was pleased with the service and am happy to have a cool house!

Clevelann Davis and Keenan Malone did a fine job with the AC install for my house. They showed up on time, did a good installation and cleaned up after the job.

My A/C went out on a Sunday during 90°+ weather. It was over 90° in the upstairs of my home. I work from home and my office is upstairs, as is my bedroom. I called Reliable and the first available appt they would give me was 3 days later, despite the fact I work from home. After sleeping on my sofa for 3 days and working from a small travel laptop since I couldn't tolerate the 90°+ temps to work in my office, when they finally came out, the problem turned out to be the exact same part they had just replaced 2 years prior. While the technician was at my home, I called the office and asked to speak to a manager. The receptionist refused to let me talk with one. She just kept repeating what the technician had said, that the part was only warranted for 1 year. At first the receptionist tried to say it might not be their part, despite their big Reliable sticker visible on the part itself. The technician acknowledged it was their part from the start saying, "we can't deny it since our sticker is right here on it." This company has long hold times, they make you wait 3 days for service in 90°+ degree weather, they don't stand behind their work or offer a discount when a part fails after only 2 years, they won't let you speak to a manager when you request it and they are rude and sarcastic to customers. She never apologized during our conversation, just made excuses that sometimes the parts they get fail and don't last very long. That was the only excuse the technician or the receptionist could offer. After seeing how upset I was about the same part having to be replaced again at the cost of $248 just two years later, the receptionist asked sarcastically, "Is there was anything else I can help you with?" When I told the technician that Reliable doesn't care about losing a customer since there is so much business in metro Atlanta, he said "if you would just stop talking long enough, you would have heard her apologize." So unbelievably rude! She had never attempted to apologize, just repeated that they can't help it if a part goes bad after just two years. I told the technician that I was going to leave a review for Reliable online. He proceeded to list off for me all the places that Reliable has reviews, including Angie's List and numerous other places. I hadn't realized they were on Angie's List so was glad he shared that information so I could warn others who use Angie's List what to expect from this company. The arrogance of this company is unreal! The company has grown so big, they couldn't care less if they lose a customer. It means absolutely nothing to them because there's so much business available to them in the Atlanta area. It may be impossible to find a company that comes out in a reasonable time frame, speaks respectfully to customers and backs their work, but I'm going to try. As the technician left, he had the last word. His parting words as he walked out of my office to leave my home were, "Have a nice life!" His sarcasm, attitude and words say more than any review I write, ever could. I spoke with a Trane Heating and Air Representative and showed him the capacitor Reliable installed two years ago. He said the reason the capacitor failed after just two years was because Reliable used an inexpensive, cheaply made capacitor instead of a an authorized Trane part.

Terrific as usual. He immediately noticed a small leak in my water heater which I would never have noticed. Antoine was so professional and was great with my excited dog!

After searching, reviewing and evaluating several companies long and hard my husband and I called Reliable. They were kind enough to send Mr. Riddick to our home. He did a painless evaluation and sat down with us. His presentation was very awesome and very professional making our decision very easy to make. A few days later I had the pleasure of meeting our technicians Terrell and Jared. They called me before they came and when they arrived they were very respectful and nice men. These two gentlemen worked very hard and great together. They explained to us everything that we needed to know and they too were very professioanal. And when they left our home you wouldn't had known they had been there. They picked up after themselves as they worked. We're so happy to have air conditioning again and I can't wait too have great heat in the winter. We purchased aTrane 3.5 ton 16 SEER its big and it works beautifully. We have had other companies who were going to charge us $1000 dollars more for a 16 SEER. Also we are paying what most companies will charge for a SEER 15. Most importantly we receive 10 years warranty parts and labor. Also 1 year system monitoring under their safe guard program which provides an electronic system message to Reliable if there is something wrong or going wrong with the system. And free maintenance for the first 2 years. Then they have maintenance packages after the 2 years expire. Awesome package!!!!

Antoine Reeves, the service technician replaced the filter and discovered that the copacitor was leaking. Upon my agreement, he replaced it. I had numerous questions and he was very knowledgeable and answered them all to my satisfaction. He is very professional and I felt very comfortable trusting his expertise in his field of a/c units.

6 months check-up for HVAC/AC and replaced burned out capacitor...Was quick and easy. Armando was very good! Easy to work with, on time and quick!

They could have not damaged the electrical in the house when they were doing work.

Pretty much did nothing except speculate what the issue could be. Adjusted the connection to the capacitor but unable to find root cause of the inefficient cooling for a brand new compressor unit and line. Their customer service is terrible. Just because they are busy, they give you all day windows and would not let you know when they would show up, so your entire day is kind of shot in terms of planning. In addition, they promise a 30 min prior notification before arrival, but they called me and provided a 10 min window and I had to rush from work. Getting them back for a call back because the issue is still unresolved is a pain. Good luck!

I have been a customer of Reliable for over 15 years. They have replaced two hv/ac systems and a water heater in my other house plus I have them complete check-ups on my systems twice a year. This is the first time I needed them to come out for an emergency. I called late Thursday. Told I would be put on a waiting list for Friday. They did not come. I called to let them know that Saturday was fine but I needed to leave my house at a 4:00. They did not show up until after two. The service tech. told me I should have had my system shut off because the freon was frozen. No one had told me that. He could do nothing and would have to come back. I asked that they place me as their first appointment on Sunday. They did not. Got a phone call around 2:00 saying they would be there in an hour. By that time, I had called another company. It appears that loyalty to this company means nothing and the fact that they could not fit me in after being a loyal customer demonstrates this. Reliable use to be a responsive company but they have become too big and feel that their customer base is not important - at least that is how they made me feel.

The actual service went well. During the time the technician was checking our systems, I would periodically ask him how things were going and he always said no problems, everything looks good. After he finished checking our systems and came inside to discuss the results, he stated that our main system was overcharged and our basement system was undercharged with refrigerant. He said we would have to have refrigerant removed from the main system and refrigerant added to our basement system. Total cost would be $500 to $600. All the while he was talking, my wife and I had an uneasy feeling about what he was saying. Our house is only four years old and the basement system is less than two years old. We also had both systems checked last winter and both were fine. We called another HVAC company for a second opinion and that technician stated that both of our systems were well within normal limits for refrigerant and amperage draw. This is the second time that someone from Reliable has tried to upsell us on something that we don't need. Never again Reliable!

The repair process went well and the plumbing problem was fixed. Afterward, they "checked" the water pressure in the house and said it was 95 psi. Georgia code requires 80 psi or less. They said that the pressure relief valve in the house was bad and needed to be replaced at a cost of around $300.00 to $400.00. Some of our neighbors have had water pressure issues so through them we found another independent plumber and called him. He told us to get a water pressure gauge from a home store for $10.00 and check it myself. I did this and found our water pressure to be 76 psi, not 95. 76 psi is within normal limits. We did not need to spend an additional $300 - $400. I really do not like it when providers try to upsell you on goods and services you don't need.

Ellery the technician who performed this work was top rate. We had an older unit with a connection that required a special part and extra work, He figured out what needed to be done, got the part and did the job! He arrived within specified times on both service calls and stayed well past 7 pm on each occasion to finish the work. Price was very fair.

Josh M and Kai did our cleaning and did a fantastic job. Our air ducts look great! They were very friendly! We got to see before and after pictures of everything. Also, they vacuumed up anything that fell down and cleaned all of our vent covers! Would definitely use again, and recommend to others!
