Description of Work: Did not use. I called them because Reliable sounded like a reliable company. I said I wanted the entire heat/AC system cleaned. Quoted $795 less Angie's discount. They were to come out today at 11:00 am. No one showed up until I called. Said they would be out around 2:00 pm. The job was contracted out to a team of very young people who called themselves Daffy Ducts. After they walked over the house, I asked them what exactly they would clean. Apparently all they were going to clean were the ducts (as best they could, he said), the registers and vents. I asked about the drain pans, coils and fans. They bumped up the price quoted by $300, and then said they couldn't clean that stuff anyway. If I wanted that done I would have to have Reliable come back after they did the ducts (more money). I called Reliable and they said they were qualified to do all the work but they don't clean the ducts and sub that out to Daffy Ducts. The team said they would call their boss but went back to their vehicle to do that out of earshot. Nice kids but I told them I did not think I wanted to use the company. Very disappointed. Told them I would use someone else.

Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED A NEW 2.5 TON A/C SYSTEM AND NEW 80K BTU FURNACE. THE CREW ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY POLITE. THEY PUT DOWN CARPET PROTECTION AND BEGAN REMOVING TO OLD EQUIPMENT. THEY CAREFULLY INSTALLED THE NEW EQUIPMENT, COMPLETED ALL THE ELECTRICAL AND GAS CONNECTIONS AND THEN TESTED BOTH THE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS. THEY CLEANED UP THE AREA AND REMOVED ALL REFUSE. THE JOB WAS WELL DONE, NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL.

Description of Work: We had two heating and air systems that were 30 years old replaced. We replaced with Trane because of the great reputation of the systems. The sales rep (the son of the owner) came out and discussed my options and taught me a lot. I decided to also get the attic insulated and sealed with spray foam in between the rafters. Long story short it was a great move going with Reliable Heating and Air. I'd also like to give a shout out to Raul and Ram. They installed with professionalism and speed.

Description of Work: Reliable installed a HVAC system in our upstairs recently .We went with them because of prior installation of our downstairs system and were impressed with their work and pricing. Jeremy and Chris were techs who did the installation and were very professional and worked very well together and answered any questions I had as well as explaining what yet they did upon completion. Very satisfied with the work and will continue to have our maintenance contract with them. Bob Butler

Description of Work: They replaced a capacitor on an air conditioner. They have been fine. I find the cost of their service very reasonable. They always do an excellent job.

Description of Work: -old furnace removed from attic -old ac unit removed -air conditioning unit replaced -furnace replaced -new thermostat installed One of our HVAC systemS was over 24 years old and the furnace blower was making noise. I contacted Reliable, whom we've used for more than ten years. The technician examined the system and explained the problem. He gave me options to fix the problem - replace only the old furnace or replace the furnace and the old ac unit. Having replaced the other system seven years ago I knew this system wouldn't last much longer. I scheduled the repalcement for the following Monday. The three techs showed up on time, put down floor coverings and got right to work. They were friendly, courteous and professional; even taking a moment to tell me they were heading out to lunch. The system was repalced in a shorter amount of time than I expected. They left my house in spotless order. When the work was completed one of the techs took the time to explain all of the work, the warranties, and showed me how to use the new thermostat. I was very pleased with with the quality of work done and I will continue to use Reliable for my HVAC needs in the future.
