First Fence of Georgia

Everyone was friendly, professional, and punctual. The guys installing the fence worked nonstop and did a great job. They also repaired a fence gate and again did an awesome job.

According to their brochure and salesman, I was getting a "Legend Impressions Fence" made by Master Halco. After the fence was installed, we saw it was a "Barrette" Fence which is one of Home Depot's Proline Fences. They insisted that it was the same fence. It may have looked the same, but it was not the fence indicated in the contract.

Experience was very good and I highly recommend them. The quote process was fast. The estimator arrived on time, explained to me the plan and got electronic copy of the quote. They also responded quickly to any followup questions. Initially, their quote was not the lowest, but they happily matched it. I also liked it that they sent me reminder emails when their crew is going to come and what to expect. On the fence install day, the crew was polite, professional and fast. They arrived on time, very organized and did their work fast. The workmanship was very good too. There was no need for rework or corrections.

EXCELLENT!! Russell in sales did a great job understanding what we wanted, was very responsive to calls/emails and design changes. Great guy to work with. The crew showed up on time, was very friendly and professional and worked diligently all day. They showed up the next day early, worked diligently again all day (never saw them take a break) into early evening and finished a day ahead of schedule and left the site clean. The fence is beautiful, sturdy, and of excellent quality.

The crew did an excellent job. The entire job was completed in 3 days. Very pleased with the quality and end result, had no issues.

Installation was done very well but it took much longer (3days) than expected and one day they did not show up until afternoon. However, they worked hard and did a good job. It did take quite a while between the quote and the actual installation as they seem to be very busy.

Schedulers were friendly and efficient. Installers were right on time and did an excellent job.

This is the second repair that we have had done by First Fence. They were wonderful - responsive, and fixed the fence and rebuilt our gate two weeks earlier than expected. They do very good work in a timely manner.

They were great. They ended up arriving 2 weeks early as they had a cancellation and were able to fit us in. The fence looks amazing, it is great quality,

Initial job went well - installed entire fence in one day. However, I had asked that they replace existing fence in same footprint as original; they put back wall of fence a foot or so further back. When I called about the problem, it took a week for someone to get back with me. Ultimately, it took more than a month and two trips to get the problem resolved and then the staining did not get scheduled until over 2 months later. Although there were some weather challenges, I really feel like the entire process took too long. Workers were professional and ultimate job is of good quality. My impression was that they took on too many jobs to handle in a timely manner. They could also do a better job of keeping the customer informed when there are delays.

We got quote from 4 different companies but decided to go with First Fence for several reasons: our next door neighbor has been happy with the work they did for him; they seemed like the highest quality work and materials for not much more (heavy duty gate hardware, aluminum nails, cedar gate frames, etc for about 20% more than the other quotes); they could get us on their schedule fairly quickly (others were scheduling a month or more out). It was estimated the job would take 1.5 to 2.5 days of work. The two man crew showed up at 8am on the scheduled day and, after confirming the fence and gate locations, got right to work. They worked right through some medium rain when I thought they would have to stop. The two guys worked so hard in fact that they were able to finish the job completely by 6pm the same day! We did the walk-through inspection and everything was great. It's been over a month now since the job and we are 100% happy with the work.

First Fence was great to work with. Finished the job in 2 days. New fence looks great. Quote was $1300 less than other quote received and included a better warranty.

We were very pleased with First Fence and would absolutely use them again. When the fence was initially installed, we noticed some issues and First Fence sent out another crew to investigate our complaint. The matter was resolved satisfactory and we have nothing but complimentary praise for First Fence. Everyone was courteous, communicative and punctual. What more could one ask!!

Had a problem with construction of fense. There was too much space between boards. SHB 2 inches. The fense was replaced with new boards spaced at 2 inches. Very well done. liked the work very much.

It went great. Estimate process with Russell went great and so did the install. Everything was done in a punctual and quality way. We were impressed with the crew that that actually did the install. I would use them again. They paid attention to detail and kept me well informed throughout the process. It looks great😀😀

They were expensive and the materials weren't as good as I thought they should have been. They did do a good job. None of the materials were that good. As far as them coming out and doing what I need done with regards to the installation I would give them an "A".

First Fence of GA did a great job rebuilding our fence gate. We had a double gate that was previously broken and sagging and they reconstructed it with new materials and it works great! The amazing thing was how quickly they were able to do this - they had it rebuilt within 45 minutes of arriving at our home and it is very good quality. They arrived when they said they would, and completed the work very efficiently. We were concerned about it sagging again in the future (as our last gate had), so they listened and rebuilt it in a way that it was "lighter" and wouldn't pull down over time. I appreciate their professionalism, their concern about our feedback in the process and completing the job in a very timely manner. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The crew was punctual and very hard working. They asked lots of questions to make sure they were building it the way I wanted it. They were very courteous and professional. The job took 5 days for the 2 guys to do. I could not believe they could have completed it that fast.

Still trying to resolve water issues but once we do, we're going to use them for the install.

David Barrows came to my home to assess the repairs that would be needed. I don't think I've dealt with a nicer sales representative in quite a while. He was attuned to my concerns about the cost of repairs, and he could not have been more thoughtful. Tricia Ball, who works in their office, was also very nice and professional. If I do decide to replace my existing fence, I would definitely contact this company. I highly recommend them.

For weeks we went back and forth via email and telephone with First Fence of Georgia negotiating prices and comparing fence styles. They were patient, professional and kind. When we zeroed in on a fence style and price, they set up contracts and we signed them. All was well. Then we received a call that the original price we had agreed on for that particular fence style was incorrect. That it was actually $1000.00 more than the price given and that we all had agreed on. They were very apologetic and offered to do something else at a reduced price but we were profoundly disappointed and no longer trusted them since this resembled a "bait and switch" tactic. Unfortunately the order was cancelled and we cannot recommend First Fence of Georgia. Update: First Fence followed up on the mix up and corrected the error. They fulfilled the original contract at the originally agreed upon price. They did exactly what they agreed to do. You can't expect more from a company. Sad to say but I rarely see business people applying the principle that the "customer is always right" nowadays. However, First Fence of Georgia not only believes it, they put their money and their work to prove it. Outstanding.

My experience with them was good. They were on time. They did what they said they were going to do and when they said they were going to do it. They were done quickly. They were in and out of here in a day. 2.10 to 2.15.
