First Fence of Georgia

Terrible service asked to have someone give estimate. Was asked to take pics and mark replacement pickets (Lazy). On day of appointment didn't show up till 3:30 tore fence apart(Thursday)and left. Said they would be back in morning never showed up. I had to call company at 12pm to get update. Just to be shuffled around and told someone would be by Tuesday at the earliest to "look" at it. Garbage service yard looks like a construction site. Papers used to mark fence thrown in yard. Fence pickets and posts scattered across the lawn.

From start to finish First Fence was responsive & clear. They walked the property to discuss what we wanted. Made some suggestions for a better outcome, then sent an agreement with all of the details for us to sign. We paid a deposit in order to secure our time on their schedule, then paid the balance after the fence was installed. They also removed & discarded the old fence. All completed in one day. I really want to give 4.5 stars. A half star off for the length of time it took for them to come back and replace/adjust the gate, as the wood warped and it wouldn’t open. That took a month. All fixed now.

Agent came out to quote as scheduled. However, never received a quote or any follow up calls even after I tried numerous attempts to get a quote. Never heard back from company. Would not recommend.

The entire process with First Fence was great. The guys arrived on time and finished the job in two days, which was very impressive based on the size of the fence.

First Fence were very responsive to provide a quote. Provided opinions regarding fence layout but put my requests first. Their quote was in line with other quotes but we selected First Fence due to the accompanying warranty. Installation scheduling was prompt and they were able to make last minute adjustments to layout after I changed my mind. The installers worked quickly and maintained attention to detail. I checked progress approximately every 3 hours to review quality of workmanship and raise new issues - they were receptive to adjusting to my requests as they worked. There was one minor defect that we noticed after completion of the installation - they sent a different crew the next day to resolve the issue. Very pleased with the result and have had multiple inquiries from neighbours looking for a recommendation for a fence contractor.

Everything from the initial consultation, proposal, change orders, and scheduling was handled professionally! It is so nice to deal with a company that understands the importance of great customer service! So many companies (especially in the building trades) that may have the skills to do the job, fail on every other aspect of their business. Non-returned calls. Missed appointments. Indifferent attitudes. It's maddening, but unfortunately true. Thank you First Fence of Georgia for not being "that guy"!

They were timely professional courteous. The company followed up first initial stages during and after. The men did a excellent job.

First Fence did a fantastic job from start to finish. Everyone along the way was friendly and professional. The quote Derek put together for us was great and we had a good feeling about the company after meeting with him. There were no surprises at the end and we paid the original price quoted. The quality of work is great and the installers worked long and hard to get the fence installed. We opted for a decorative arbor fence and it looks beautiful. They followed up this morning to make sure we’re satisfied, which speaks to their integrity. Overall a wonderful experience, thanks!

We had a miscommunication out of the gate when I first got the estimate and the leadership of this company went above and beyond to help clarify. I fully admit that I was a high maintenance customer on this one and the job ended up being much smaller than I originally thought. They did not change the customer experience based on the size of the job. We had the new fence installed over the holiday and the team was amazing. The fence looks great. And I've already referred two people to First Fence! Great experience!

Very well. They showed early in the morning on the installation day and brought a whole crew with them. Had the fence completed in 8 hours with two gates and hardware installed as well.

It went extremely well. The rep came on time to provide a quote, which was reasonable. The crew arrived on time and the foreman spoke with me and walked around with me to be sure they understood what I wanted done. The crew worked diligently until the work was done. Then I did a final inspection with the foreman to approve the work. Afterwards I found a couple of things I wanted changed and they came back when asked to make those changes. All in all a great experience.

The workers arrived on time, finish the job quickly, and did quality work. The representative Mike F. was very good when I changed my mind he came back out was very friendly polite and professional . When the workers made two mistakes he came back out and had them corrected. First Fence is a high-quality business, professional website, 6 page detail proposal of the work before the work was begun, quality brochures, and super helpful office staff.

We purchased a new home this year and needed a good fence for the safety of our grandchildren and our elderly mini dachshund! We had the yard measured, chose the fencing material and were given an installation date three weeks out. I went to the FF office to give them a deposit on our project on a Thursday afternoon and mentioned that we would love to have the fence in as soon as possible so we could keep the dog contained while we were moving in. They looked at their schedule and promised to begin the project on Monday! It was completed in a couple of days! The whole process was done in a professional manner from beginner no to end! We couldn’t be happier with our fence and would recommend First Fence of Georgia without reservation. Wish I could give them extra stars on this review due to them going out of their way to accommodate our needs!

Received a proposal for a 285' wood privacy fence project, they were one of six companies contacted for estimates. Needed some modifications on the initial proposal due to the property survey lines coming in a little different than expected and some changes from the neighbors. After several emails back and forth and a phone call with the original estimator, it seemed as though almost everything was locked down and we were just waiting for the last proposal to be sent so we could submit the deposit for the work to be scheduled. The emails were a little slow to go back and forth but it was their busy season. Then nothing, no response, no final proposal, no contact. I was tired of the delayed responses at this point and contacted another company who immediately scheduled me on their books (and did a fantastic job). Then 7 weeks later I get a followup email from them asking if we had made any decisions on the changes, and if we wanted additional information. I don't know what they didn't understand about my last email with my final requests and changes, but I guess my requests were extraordinary. Just be prepared if you need to make any changes to the initial estimate, or if you need timely responses.

The First Fence Installation team was incredibly hard-working and professional. John, Chad and Hibibi were on time and prepared. The team walked the property to ensure they were aware of any and all potential construction issues and swiftly began to work. They removed a chain link fence and constructed a 90 foot long double sided wood privacy fence with high quality workmanship within one day. After the fence was built, John explained all that was done, walked the fence line with me to ensure I was satisfied with the work and gave me the phone number to call if anything did not meet my expectations upon further examination or if anything went wrong subsequently with the fence. The First Fence team worked tirelessly in 90 degree heat and delivered a solidly built fence. Very pleased with their work!

Awesome great group of guys do work for First fence.

It went pretty gd, I reached out to Mike Fabo to let him know I was ready to get my stain job done and he discussed with me options for the stain and because he knows my fence, he suggested a great color that would suit my home. It was a little rough to get on the schedule due to weather, we had a lot of rain but after a mix up on things and me reconfirming on a new color (because the company no longer carried the original color suggested), things were back underway. Like I said on my fence install review, this is a pretty great company. During this job even the VP looked out for me and made sure things were in order and that I was fully satisfied with everything. Its not everyday that a VP of a company will reach out and extend themselves to customers but this one did and that's why this company is just a different breed of customer service based companies, that go the extra mile for ppl. I appreciate them once again for doing such a fabulous job on my stain, it truly is beautiful and there is not break in pattern or evenness of the coat. Thanks Mike for suggesting a great color it was perfect.

First let me say my apologies for being so late on this review... What a great company, they really take care of their customers. Initially met with Mike Fabo to go over design and fence placement and to get the initial quote. Mike was great, he saw my vision and was able to come up with a great price for us and we got on schedule. On first install day, Mike was there early to make sure everything ran smoothly and the guys knew where the markers were for the fence. These guys are super human because it took them only 3 days to complete our fence and we have 6x6's, top rails, etc going on...simply amazing. Our fence is huge and definitely the best quality and best looking fence in our subdivision. The privacy fence we have also is used as our pool fence and code enforcement required a few changes. One main chg was that our gate needed to close much better than it did, but its a very heavy gate. But First Fence got the guys back out there and let me tell you this crew is amazing and totally caring. They knew I have very little kids and the lead would not leave until they knew the gate would close as the county wanted, but not to hard that it would endanger my children and I truly appreciate the team for caring that much. Those springs are tricky and we went thru a few of them as they tweaked and tweaked, trying different positions to get things just right. This just goes to show how great their crews are and how they all work together to strive to give every customer that personal feeling. Mike Fabo is the best and when he's on your job things will be to your liking and he's always there to answer any questions you need. They should call them Forever Fence because these guys will be my fence company.... forever!!!!

I can't say enough about the professionalism of this company. Beginning with the sales rep, Russell Beck, who had actually been to the house once before and still maintained his enthusiasm and his professionalism despite the aggravation. After giving us an estimate and revising it several times to meet our needs, Russell was with me every step of the way during the permit process which, because there is a pool in the back yard requiring a pool permit, seemingly went on forever. He rewrote the proposal and re-drew the plans at least twice maybe three times before it was accepted by the county. Two days later, the team of fence builders came out, led I think by Miguel. I have never seen harder or more dedicated workers. They were in early and out late until the job was done. Honestly an amazing team. The fence looked fabulous but there was an issue with the new gates required by the county. Because the lock was so high, and on the back of the gate, it couldn't be opened on the front side and had to be remade. Through all of this, despite the fact that the whole process took 3+ months, after the $4K deposit, the company did not approach us again about paying until the job was complete. Finally, when the gate came back , they were installed by another incredible team of men. Jesse was the lead, and Brian was assisting him. They too were very professional and did an excellent job. Finally, in the office, coordinating all of this activity was Heather who made life much easier as she stayed on top of the whole process and made sure it all happened when it was supposed to happen. I pray I never have to go through this again, but if I do, the first thing I will do is call First Fence of Georgia.

Excellent. They were in and out in great time and I had fence in less than day. I would hire them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I hired First Fence to install fences at two different properties in 2017. They were easy to work with and we very professional. I had some minor issues needing to be addressed after installation, and they stood by their work in addressing those issues. I would recommend them and they will be at the top of my list should I have any additional fencing needs in the future.

As noted above, the experience was excellent.
