First Fence of Georgia

Russell (salesman) was very prompt and courteous. He promised a quote over the weekend and delivered it timely. We also checked two other providers for quotes before picking First Fence as we had no idea of the expected cost. I was very impressed with Russell and his attention to my questions and follow up. When it turned out First Fence was also the cheapest this made it an easier decision. I liked that they do the documents online with Docusign and that their estimate included a CAD drawing of the backyard. Very professional and makes it easy. I did not want to do the online payment so I mailed them the deposit check, but this still was easy. Once they had the check I received calls on status and scheduling. I was led to believe it would take 2-3 weeks, but then received another call asking if they could do it in the next 1-2 days as they had an opening. The two installers (Antonio and Lalo) arrived promptly and we did a walk through where they remeasured and marked. They started around 9am and worked until nearly 9pm so they could finish in a single day. They were very courteous and paid attention to details like leveling all the posts and running lines to ensure everything was lined up. While probably to be expected, my backyard is wooded so this was not an easy task. I also live on the side of a mountain and it is rocky. Despite this they completed everything on the estimate. I was also pleased they paid attention to keeping the wire down to ground level as this was needed for pet containment. Overall the fence itself is very sturdy and looks great. Their attention to detail was perfect, and we are very pleased with the fence. I would gladly use them again.

I took five bids from Angie list companies and others. First Fence of Georgia was best bid. But I questioned the top three about products, style offerings, installaton methods, and for thier own ideas for our Cyottee problem. Only First Fence of Georgia sent someone to my home to meet with me and who walked and measured the area and asked questions about my problems. Only First Fence got back to me with drawings, fence product choices design recommendations and tons of information to enable me to get it right. The others left bids on my phone or said they would drive by. After deciding on First Fence a flood of questions came over me while I was standing guard over my dogs as they walked in the scary (because of cyottees) wooded area in our back yard. I was forced to stand closely to them each time they needed to go out both day & night. Anyway, I was nervous and wanted to understand even more about the fence and the installation. The office staff (they are great by the way) suggested that I speak with the owner of First Fence and I soon did. He told me everything you could want to know. He discussed the different gauge metals and why, the different coatings, how much of each support post would be in the ground and how much of that would be in cement and how much more cement would be below the end of each post. How the fence corners would be supported given the 8 foot height and so much more. I was confident and more knowledgeable about my fence purchase after we spoke. I was scheduled for a 3 week wait but it was much less than that. The First Fence of Georgia office staff was so simpathetic to my problem and I called alot and I really thank them for thier patience. The fence required permits from the city and I got a package in the mail from First Fence with all the documents I would need including one that was noterized, multiple color copies of the fence types, drawings of the proposed fence overlayed on drawings of the property. Everything I needed to get permits was there. I just went to city hall and paid for it. I will use First Fence of GA as the type of business (Companies that are large enough, with staffed offices, full time employees & modern equipment) as my model for future service companies I hire from now on. My pets are safe and I don't have to take them out every time they need to go. I beliefe the rot Iron fence and gate that faces front adds curb appeal and value to my property. Didn't expect that. Very pleased.

Shane provided a estimate promptly after reviewing the property. He advised and referred us to services such as property survey and need for building licenses in our area etc. The company offered several payment options including full financing with no interest for 6 months. Once we selected them they put us on the calendar with in a couple weeks and the work was done in a day. We had them back twice adjust a few small items. The fence looks very attractive and a great addition to the property. The neighbors have all had great feedback and one asked for the number to refer to a client looking to put in a fence.

We purchased a new house and called several companies to install a fence for us. First Fence was the most responsive to our questions and provided the best price. They quoted 3 weeks before the fence could be installed, but called ahead of that and installed the fence ahead of schedule. Their crew was very professional and they completed the work in one day. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

We ended up not hiring them because we canceled the project. After demolishing our old fence we realized we liked our yard better without it. That said, First Fence did everything right and we would have gone with them for sure. They were prompt, courteous, professional and highly consultative. Their estimator spent a ton of time with us helping us pick the right design and talking about the pros and cons of various decisions we needed to make. They have since called twice and e-mailed us just to make sure we had all the info we needed and that we were satisfied with their bid. I can't recommend them highly enough and will definitely use them should we change our mind.

The workers were efficient and professional. We made a change to our order adding additional fencing but the materials weren't loaded onto the truck so we wound up losing some square footage in our fenced in area.

We are very pleased with the results. The workers were professional and did a great job. The work did not take longer than anticipated. The sales person who gave us a quote was somewhat challenging in negotiating the contract. We consulted the office staff several times before the contract was ready. As part of the contract, removing a stone wall was included. On day two of the job, the sales person contacted us and told us that his boss had "chewed him out" for promising to remove the stone wall. The sales person was passive-aggressive and complained that this removal was very difficult. One unacceptable alternative he suggested was simply to place the fence in front of the stones and commented that we'd "never have to see it." We felt that it was unprofessional and inappropriate for the sales person to call us at all. This work had been specifically negotiated. We emphasized that First Fence needed to honor the contract. The sales person told us he would "figure it out," and then called at the end of the day to say that he had removed rock for four hours. Again, disappointing and unprofessional. After the job was complete, we called First Fence to make them aware that the sales person contacted us as he did. It was apparent that the office staff had no idea this had taken place and asked permission to share with the general manager and the owner of the company to which we agreed. The president company personally called us and apologized. He was clearly distressed that the sales person called us.

They were on time and did it in 1 day, even though they said it could take 2 days. The guys were nice and there to work. Would totally use them again!

The quality of the work was excellent. It took longer than I anticipated to get the work done but the final result was worth it. I would definitely recommend this company again.

The guy that came out was really nice. He knew a lot about what he was talking about. He was in and out pretty quick. He didn't try to sell me too hard or anything. I actually really liked him a lot. When we get the money, we're going to use them.

They worked hard (it's hot in Atlanta) and didn't stop till they were done (all in 1 day - approx. 8 hours). After they were done, a neighbor came over and asked for their card. They set-up the fence exactly to my specifications. I'm completely happy.

I called First Fence of Georgia to set up an estimate to replace a large "L" portion of fence in my backyard that the initial owner had constructed poorly. The guy arrived to do the estimate right on time, actually a few minutes early. The estimate was extremly reasonable for what I wanted so I signed a contract and paid 33% initial deposit. After that everything happened exactly as they said it would and within the time frames they told me to expect. I was told probably a 2 day job but the workmen stayed late on the first day and finished it, I was amazed. The fence was professionally instructed and even and i even had a sloped backyard. I am completely satisfied with the entire experience and highly recommend this company. I will be contacting them again when I am ready to replace the rest of the fencing.

Great job! I am a repeat customer of First Fence and they continue to do a quality work. Scheduling my estimate was quick and easy. The price was reasonable and what I expected. I committed a couple of months before the fence could be installed - they were very understanding about my need to delay and followed up at scheduled times to see if I was ready to go. Once I was ready to schedule, they were here within a week. It was a small job and was done quickly and looks great. I spoke to several people at First Fence through the process and everyone was super nice, very professional and a pleasure to work with. The email communication was great as well - big help in guiding me through the process.

From the initial estimate through installation, First Fence was very responsive to our needs. In particular, the ability to finance the installation was a big selling point and led to our ultimate choice. The installers arrived promptly and were very courteous and completed the work in a professional manner.

The crew worked quickly, and the finished fence looks wonderful. Our only complaint about the work is that the crew was quite sloppy with the cement they used to keep the fence posts in place. We have found cement on grass that isn't near the fence as though someone was careless when carrying a bucket of it and then didn't clean up the mess. We have also discovered (after it had dried, unfortunately) cement splashed up on the siding of our house. Now that it's there, we would not be able to remove it without damaging the siding and its paint. If it had been taken care of right away while still wet, it would have wiped up easily.

They were professional, prompt, courteous, and built a tight and beautiful fence for my new home. The crew really took pride in their work, and it showed!

Did a great job. We got a quote from several companies, but felt most comfortable with First Fence in terms of cost and likely accuracy of the quote. (based on how they actually measured the fence line) They were scheduling about three weeks out when we submitted the deposit. They provided a great quote that had everything we needed for the homeowner's association - made submission for approval very easy. The initial schedule had them coming on Friday (all day) and finishing up on Saturday morning. A couple of days beforehand First Fence called to "cancel" Friday because of the weather forecast, but said they would be here on Saturday morning at 8am and would work until it was finished. Crew arrived on time on Saturday morning with a loaded truck of materials. Team lead walked the property with us to mark all the corners (we did get a property survey beforehand to make it clear) and gates. As soon as he got out the truck, I asked him where the rest of the crew was - there were only three people - and he told me "no, that's it." They quickly got to work, removed an adjoining fence with one neighbor and started digging the post holes. We had to leave for the afternoon and when we came back started getting a little anxious about them finishing that day. I under-estimated the team...they kept going into the evening, and packed up at about 8:30pm, including adding a lattice under our deck to stop kids getting out (which we arranged that day). The fence looks great, the team worked hard to get it done in the day. Highly recommended.

Jamey from First Fence came out promptly after I reached out to the company and he provided a very detailed estimate. He provided a good drawing of the fence line, and sketches of the materials to be used. This was very helpful for us to get approval from our HOA! The quote was competitive and Jamey asked questions and listened to our ideas. The work crew that installed the fence arrived right on time on the date scheduled. They worked consistently during the day and completed the total project in two days (including finishing up in a rain storm!). They cleaned up and left no trash in the yard. The fence looks great. The gates swing easily and are perfectly level. Great job!

Great service! Jamey was the sales rep who came out to do the estimate and he was great. Ran his numbers and then was able to explain all aspects of service. I had multiple questions and changed styles a few times which required multiple versions of the quote, which Jamey provided no problem. The installation took a bit longer than I would have liked, its about a three week lead after the acceptance of quote. Once the installation happened, it was super quick and very proffesional. Installers walked around with specs prior to beginning work to ensure they do the job correctly. Cleaned up after themselves. Overall excellent work, would use them again.

Very professional and courteous company to work with. They were very flexible with my requests, were prompt, on time, called when appropriate to discuss timing of the install, etc, and the new fencing looks fantastic. They managed to tear down and install in two days despite dealing with rain. I would definitely recommend this company if you want a decent fence done right and professionally

First Fence of Georgia did an awesome job. Arrived on time. The job took about 5 hours. Thats how detailed and precise they were with enlarging our gate. It look terrific . I love it . LOVE IT. Great Job First Fence. Wish I could post before and after pictures...

Our experience with First Fence was wonderful. They came onsite to perform the estimate which gave us a chance to discuss our wants for the fence. The rep was able to provide very helpful information (like putting the gate in a different location to avoid the low spot which stays wet when it rains) and made other useful suggestions. They arrived promptly for the estimate and for the install and where done in the time stated. The fence is beautiful and sturdy! Great job! We received other fencing estimates over the phone and via email but this experience has taught us to require onsite visits when work like this is done to avoid mishaps and disappointments with the finished product. We will DEFINITELY recommend First Fence to our friends and neighbors.

The estimator was polite and certainly did not pressure me to use his company. Since his estimate was significantly lower than the other two companies, I had concerns about the quality of the product. I did not ask about the different grades of aluminum fencing, nor did he offer any information.
