Description of Work: Chimney Sweep and inspection. Repair remote on my fireplace and got me some new gas logs.

Description of Work: Went to the "place of business" and it was a residence where the only thing home was the dog. Could not leave a message because the call box was full.

Description of Work: Chimney Sweep. I paid 1/2 the deposit on the cap at that initial visit. I'll have to say it went very quickly I questioned how well it could have been cleaned in 15 minutes or less. Chuck's response was this is a $1,000 piece of equipment? They were 2 hours (no call) early on the initial visit. He was supposed to return today 11/10 to repair the firebox and install the chimney cap. I had to call 4 times, email twice, text and fax before he called me back to say he had a flat tire, girl is his office out today and rescheduled me for 11/18. The 2 contact numbers I had was not the number he called from stated it was his direct line? I not feeling good about this company at all right now. So I have not received the follow yet. I may cancel and request my deposit back.....

Description of Work: During the process of selling a home in September of 2013 I had to have the fireplace serviced. Chuck with Atlanta Chimney Doctor came to the house and made a small repair around the gas line inside the fireplace. He worked around my work schedule to make the repair when it was convenient for me, was punctual and professional. So when it came time to find out what was wrong with the fireplace in my condo I called Atlanta Chimney Doctor. I was set to make an appointment but after explaining the problem to Mr. Conner, he quickly told me there was no reason for him to come to my condo and proceeded to tell me the solution to the problem I was having with an electric starter. I don't know many businesses that would have told me the solution over the phone. In fact, I had made a call to a competitor to check pricing and gave the same reason for my phone call. Instead of giving me he solution over the phone, the receptionist proceeded to tell me what all would need to be done and the high price I would be charged. Given the fact, Chuck Conner gave me the solution over the phone and saved me a service fee I will definitely call him the next time I need my fireplace serviced or repaired.

Description of Work: I got educated on the difference between a wood burning fireplace, gas fireplace, and a wood fireplace with a gas starter. The owner was very knowledgeable and really took time to explain everything to me. He had great ideas on how to upgrade or finish off the exterior of the marble work. When we go to upgrade or to switch everything to either a gas or wood fireplace - I'm calling him.

Description of Work: They came out to do an inspection and clean. It was all clean so they didn't have to do anything. They found out that the chimney box was cracked. They told us we could replace it with gas logs which is what we ended up having them do that day since he had them on the truck.

Description of Work: Chuck Conner did work for me in the past when I lived in the Atlanta area. I purchased a home in Savannah and the fireplace was in bad shape. I couldn't find a qualified person in Savannah that I trusted to fix the fireplace. I called Mr. Conner and explained the situation. He drove down from Atlanta and cleaned and did a video inspection of the chimney. He found the flu liner was cracked and unsafe for use. The chimney was deteriorating from water damage. Mr. Conner realigned my chimney, repaired the crown on the chimney, installed a chimney cap and applied a chimney saver water repellent system.
