Description of Work: They gave us a drawn landscape design which was fine but, I had to call them weeks later after not hearing from them in order to get the design.

Description of Work: Groupon promised a landscape plan. All they did was add 9 small plants and groundcover to existing yard for $2680 plus add an additional $1870 for an unasked for walkway. I was very disappointed.

Description of Work: Responded promptly to request for landscape service. Came to the house to discuss a plan. Never delivered a plan as promised (and paid for).

Description of Work: We used their Angies List coupon for landscape design work for our back yard. We are new to this, so it was nice that the representative took his time in asking questions and exploring some ideas that he incorporated into the design document. We also appreciated that he broke the overall design into segments that we could attempt at different points in time.

Description of Work: Built a raised bed garden. Planted seven trees and about 40 plants. Put mulch over a very large area.

Description of Work: As with many attractively priced Angie's List offers it was hard to get an initial consultation with my tight schedule and their other bookings. The representative came out after some well communicated re-scheduling and was friendly and knowledgeable. but he clearly was not able to deal with all the appointments and put out a product (he told us about how many he had to do). As of May 30 I have stopped getting responses to a service that was originally surveyed in Mid April. I am seeking a refund at this point. The price was great, the representative had the skills...if only he could have delivered a plan I could tell you the quality of the work.

Description of Work: We paid for a consultation on our backyard retaining wall and surrounding areas. It took them two months to get the plan to us and then it was much more expensive than we thought. I think they were overwhelmed by the Angie's List response to the big deal and priced things high to discourage the jobs. They would have not been able to perform the job in a timely manner I am sure.

Description of Work: They did come out and provide a landscape plan for my yard. He spent over an hour with me walking through everything and listening to me, and then spent additional time measuring etc. Was very thorough and professional and this part was very fast. It did take a little longer than they expected to send me the design because they were overwhelmed I think with the response to the Angie's List Big Deal. So far I have decided to not hire them to do any of the work recommended in the plan as it was extremely expensive to do what they recommended, but I do plan to use some of his plan in the future as funding permits and may end up hiring them at some point. The whole experience working with them was very good and their plan was very thorough.

Description of Work: It all started with a Groupon... |We moved to the Sandy Springs area in August 2013. Our house was built in the 80's and had little landscaping other than mature trees. Mal Nord from White Oak Landscaping designed a PLAN with the Groupon. We thought we could do it ourselves but found 30 years of cable lines, power and phone lines lines buried throughout our property. What a back breaking job we decided we couldn't do! | |I called Mal back and after negotiating a few changes and agreeing down to a reasonable (but not at all cheap) price, he came back with his crew and planted 360 ivy plants and much more hardy, colorful shrubs, trees and flowers in the front and a bird/butterfly garden in the backyard. Mal was extremely responsive, came on time every time he said he would and overall, did a great job! He made it a point to come back and tell me all about the plants, their care and answered all my questions. I'm so excited about all of it and my neighbors are happy also to see the new life breathed into our older home! My husband and I are very thrilled with the size and quality of plants and feel we would go back to them again with more landscaping in the future!

Description of Work: They made land islands with concrete blocks and were filled with wood chips. They treated some shrubs and they trimmed our River Birch, which is 23 years old.

Description of Work: I use White Oak Landscape to take care of a commercial property that I own. They manage all the landscaping which includes pruning, pine straw and turning off the sprinkler system.

Description of Work: Installed a new retaining wall and sodded the top sodded of the wall.

Description of Work: We used White Oak in the past to redo our backyard adding a flagstone patio and seating wall, natural stone creek, and fire pit. This was featured on HGTV's GroundBreakers. We then added a stone floor and stone fireplace to our screen porch. The work done was excellent. Many have commented on the quality of the stonework and design. When we wanted to change our irrigation system over to a drip system with a rain sensor, White Oak was who we called. They are not always the cheapest--but you get what you pay for. They removed the old system and added drip throughout the yards--all the beds, trees and grass. It took over a week to complete.

Description of Work: They didn't communicate...didn't get an estimate from them at all.....Didn't return call Company had been sold and had a new owner!!

Description of Work: I have a landscaping contract with them. They come every week or once in two weeks during the summer. They move the lawn, cut the bushes and keep them trim.

Description of Work: They come out weekly and take care my flowers, they also hooked my well to my sprinkler system. They also do all my lawn work.
