Description of Work: Replaced my entire roof, and added roof vents. As a single mom and head of house an honest contractor is important. Their price was the middle one from 3 quotes from 3 contractors. From start to finish my mind was at ease during this ordeal. No surprises, no mess, everything as planned and after years (5) the roof looks great and is solid. Great personal service!

Description of Work: Replaced high pitched roof and installed power fan on 3000 sq ft house following hail damage. Their representative, Luke, was on site the entire time for the one day removal and install, and then came back the next day to check for debris. He was unbelievably attentive to details and worked with me to assure that attic circulation was adequate. He was also here for insurance company pre-approval review and worked with them to assure that all the needed pieces were covered by insurance.

Description of Work: Very good service. Instrumental in telling there had been recall due to defective Corning Shingles after less than one year from roof replacement. Academy came out inspected and replaced entire roof. If it had not been for Academy Roofings follow up on its customers and service we would have never known about the recall. I definitely would have work done anytime I needed it and highly recommend the company and there services to family, friends and general customers alike.

Academy Roofing takes great pride in our company, employees, and installers. However, during the crash of 2008, many customers found themselves in a difficult position regarding paying Academy Roofing for services rendered. Academy worked out payment plans with most customers but this particular customer refused to pay. As a result of this customer refusing to pay, Academy had to file a lien and received a judgement against the homeowner for services rendered. To date, we have never received any call for a leak or complaint from this customer regarding the roof and we keep excellent records.

Academy Roofing handles a lot of insurance roof replacement claims for homeowners. As a result, sometimes there can be a difference between what the insurance initially estimates and what it actually costs to replace the roof. In this particular case, once Academy found out what the final figure was from the insurance, we gave a credit to the customer so that Academy's invoice matched the insurance. Since this project, Academy has increased our efficiency significantly with technology and our billing system flows smoothly.
