Description of Work: Replace the roof on my house.

Description of Work: Tear off and replacement roofing shingles on 5K sf home. They were very professional and began the work when promised. Replacement shingles were a premium selection architectural style more difficult then average to install. Materials and fasteners were as specified. Installation details, flashings and underlayment were in accordance with mfg specifications; clean up was immaculate. Work took three days including punch after materials were delivered. Billing was as originally quoted and received after satisfactory completion of the work. I would recommend Academy very highly based on the experience I had with them. I have been a licensed commercial building contractor over 45 years and I'm particular about who I hire to work on my personal residence.

Description of Work: Academy Roofing did an excellent job reroofing our home. They very were professional removing the old roof, doing repairs, laying the new roof and cleaning up afterwards. I was very pleased with all they did.

Description of Work: Installed 6" gutters and added a downspout. The gave me a quote a few weeks before, I did not want to spend that much since there was nothing wrong with my 5" gutters. The gentleman called me the day they performed the work and advised me that he was getting material for a home close by me and that he can perform the the job for almost 1/2 the original quote. I had to take it. It was done within a few hours, no mess left behind, paid after I was satisfied and no problems ever since. I would defenitely use them again!

Description of Work: Academy reroofed our house in 2009. They did a fine job. No complaints. We were recently advised that the shingles used might be defective and the shingle company was being sued. We contacted Academy and they sent a man around to check our shingles for premature fading, cracking or other defect. They came within a very short time frame and gave an all OK, that our shingles were not among the bad group. They were very helpful.

Description of Work: They demonstrated hail damage to my roof, gutters, etc., and worked with my Insurance provider to approve repair and fix the roof.

Description of Work: They originally put a new roof on our home. About a year later, the shingles began to appear as if the finish was coming off. the sandy finish from the shingles were washing down the gutter spouts. We called Academy Roofing & reported the problem. They were prompt to investigate the problem, followed through & replaced the entire roof within a short period of time. They were very professional.

Description of Work: Insurance claim re-roof. Damaged wires cutting through my attic.Gave me a run around for weeks about fixing them. Told me the wires were cut before the roof job which was ridiculous.I have three leaks none of which they repaired properly. I had others do the repairs. I would not refer them to anyone.

Description of Work: My roof developed several leaks within 4 years of being replaced and in each case the cause was determined to be improper flashing. I won't be using them for any future work.

Description of Work: Academy Roofing was one of 3 companies that gave us estimates on our roof after it was damaged in a hail storm. All 3 companies were competitively priced but we felt that Academy could handle the job and they were willing to start sooner than the others were. We were very positively taken with their knowledge and their professionalism. Their staff was not as prompt as I would like but in fairness was superior to many other tradesmen I had used in the area. The work was done meticulously. The cleanup was as if nothing had ever happened in our yard. I could not have been happier. They also assisted with our insurance making the whole process almost completely painless. I would gladly use them again.
