My tenant had received a water bill nearly 10 times higher than her average bill. She called Athens Clarke County Water Business Office who sent a technician who confirmed a leak on the line, according to the meter. I met Jon Seay at the property, where he did not observe a leak in the system (the leak detector was not moving). He then contacted the water company and arranged to have them send their techs back out while he was still there, so that all could agree there was no leak. This resulted in my tenant being able to receive an adjustment on her bill from that month. I appreciated the fact that he went to the trouble to recall the water company's techs, because I feel more confident that I know what is happening at the property, and that I can better interact with the water company about any future irregularities. Furthermore, despite the fact that he waited for the water company techs to arrive for a solid 30 minutes, he did not charge me for the visit, saying that all he had done was confirm that there was no problem to fix. He will continue to be my go-to plumber, and I recommend him highly.

He did fix the problem I just thought the price was a little high. It was a simple fix I could have done myself if I knew what was wrong. Maybe it was high because it was the weekend, I'm not sure.

He fixed a leak in a kitchen faucet. He also diagnosed disposal problem and recommended an electrician. He also re-caulked the bathroom commode free of charge.

Overall, the experience was positive.

We contacted the company and explained our problem with reduced water flow in our kitchen faucet and the history of cleaning the faucet filter repeatedly of fine white material that was repeatedly plugging and blocking water flow. The company owner explained that by my description of what was taking place that the problem was likely a dip tube inside of the heater that was slowly degenerating due to age. I advised him that the house was sixteen years old and he felt that this was likely the case. We arranged a visit for him to inspect and evaluate our kitchen faucet and found more white plastic material clogging the filter and also in the flexible hose leading to the faucet. He also evaluated the water heater in the basement and confirmed the same problem. I requested an estimate for removing and replacing both water heaters with equal or better products. The estimate given was the exact amount in the final bill, and he was able to schedule the delivery and replacement to fit our convenience and work schedule. The owner and a helper showed up on the time agreed to, were very courteous and professional, explained the details the installation and warranty terms and completed all in a reasonable time frame. I would certainly have no problem in using this company again if needed and do highly recommend them for plumbing services

They were very helpful and we are going to use them. He went above what we wanted him to consider. We are going to go ahead and use him when we are able to go and visit the property next month.

We had a leak on our toilet supply. We called and they squeezed us in after a long day. They came by in the early evening and fixed our problem in less than 30 minutes. Our daughter was asleep already, but it was no problem. The guys were very professional and quick. I would definitely recommend them if you have plumbing issues.

He did a great job and he was very good. I thought it was really an economical price. I will certainly use him again.

I've used him before, he's been available no matter when I needed him and there is a trust level there. He's been honest and things have worked out. Mainly that he has been available when I've had leaks the day before Thanksgiving, it's nice to have someone available like that. I heard about him through a neighbor. I'd absolutely use him in the future.

When preparing our laundry room for a new washer and dryer, we discovered the faucet and plumbing box had deteriorated. Rather than face problems down the road after the new units were in place, we called Seay Plumbing to install a whole new unit. I felt so much better and loved the new lever controls for turning the water on and off. We just had to repair the wall!

was the week of thanksgiving so i was not expecting such speedy service...however, they were more than cordial in fitting me in and doing a nice job of installation

Seay plumbing worked to help us find a water leak on our property and ultimately replaced the line. John and Brian are friendly and easy to work with each time they come out. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

Mr. Seay showed up exactly when he said he would. He explained everything to my husband and fixed it right away. He used heavier pipe material than what had been used before. Mr Seay even sprinkled grass seed where he had dug when he was finished.

In the process of trying to replace our leaky bathtub faucet ourselves, we managed to break one of our pipes. Luckily he was able to come out right away and replace our busted pipe, even giving us some plumbing tips in the process, such as some pipes aren't supposed to turn and telling us what small part we could get to simply fix the leak in our old faucet, so we could return to expensive kit we had bought.

Everything went very smoothly. I felt informed about the issue at hand, John had the tools to fix it, and then we made sure the problem was gone. He gave me a few other pieces of advice which dealt with the potential issue in the future.

Since I don't know much about sump pumps and was willing to accept Seay's recommendation, he could have easily sold me a new pump and charged me $350 for it. However, after testing the pump, he said that it worked fine and that he shouldn't have a problem re-setting the pump into the correct position so that it would function properly again. Also, I called Seay at 3:30 pm this afternoon. He came by the house just before 5pm and took care of the problem immediately.

I came home to find the water co. had turned off my water due to a major leak in the line. I called Seay plumbing the next morning. That afternoon I was able to meet the plumber while he checked the house and property for leaks. There were no obvious leaks, (I'd already checked) so he explained that I could wait until the leak showed up on the surface or install a new line. Because of the age of the house and my impatience to have water, I asked for a new line. He immediately called in a request for a permit and told me when the permit would be cleared and what day he could install the line unless there was a weather delay. He loaned me a wrench to turn the water on at the meter so I could have water in the mean time. When he said he'd install the line, it poured rain all day, but he did show up to deliver the equipment and say when they'd be back. As soon as the ground was barely dry enough to work, they returned, installed the line, fixed the scar on my lawn, cleaned up, and tested to make sure the water worked in the house. My water pressure improved, I have easy access to cut off my water, and the grass is growing back where the yard was torn up. Mr. Seay worked quickly, he did a good job, discussed what I needed to know about the repair, cleaned up after the work was done, and was very pleasant to talk to and work with.

He has been out three times. The first time, he didn't charge us, because the shower was installed the wrong way and he couldn't fix it. The last two times, he has fixed a leak and a faucet that another plumber installed. He is really, really good.

Fantastic. This is the second time I have used this professional, and I have found him to be polite, responsive, thorough, careful, tidy, and efficient. On both occasions, he made sure he understood my complaint and my goals, explained his findings and my options, and performed the service promptly and well. He's also a friendly, pleasant person.

The whole process went very well. The plumber was right on time (and actually had to wait a few minutes for me to get home from work) and the whole thing took less than an hour. The employee was friendly and did a professional job. I would use this company again.

The work went great. He went up in the attic and fixed the pipe while taking the time to explain everything to us. He gave advice on what he would do to help dry out the place and even went so far as to call his electrician friend to make sure that it was safe for us to turn on lights since the water damage was so extensive. He also gave us his recommendations of contracters to fix the damage and told us what we may need to pay for and what would be easy enough for us to fix ourselves. He took he time to give me a crash course on plumbing and gave us tips about how to avoid mishaps. He spent well over an hour with us, maybe 2 but only charged for one. He is definitely one of the most honest, hard working gentlemen out there and we cannot recommend him highly enough.
