I was very pleased with Seay Plumbing. John arrived promptly, was contientious about his work, was good about communicating options for repairs and fixed my plumbing problem. I also appreciated the Angie's list discount. I have used Seay Plumbing in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

John was very responsive. He answered the phone immediately, came the next day, and fixed the problem in 45 minutes. He then explained the issue and told me I had years on the unit. Efficient and professional.

Definitely knew his job but got an attitude when being asked questions. Acted as though his pride was a simple "how" question was asked. He got defensive assuming that the question meant he did not know how to do it.

John returned my call promptly. Must've been a busy day as he arrived at my house later than expected. Very personable and knowledgeable. Unclogged line quickly and made some adjustments to the sewer line clean out pipe that was slightly damaged. Very reasonable rates. I would definitely call again if needed!

In May of 2015 we called Seay Plumbing to perform an estimate regarding significant plumbing work (quoted at approx. $2700). He gave us an Angie's List discount for the estimate and if I recall that price would have counted against the estimate. Approximately 6 months later we finished interviewing other contractors and decided to move forward with Seay Plumbing. I let him know we wanted this done by the end of the year (there were roughly 8 weeks remaining as this was beginning of November). He said he didn't remember the price but if we gave him a date and a name he could look it up. He did not look it up when we were on the phone. He also said we could fax him an estimate. I provided him information as well as faxed him a copy of the estimate with a cover letter. I waited a week and did not hear back from him. I called him again and let him know we wanted to move forward. He said he would be in touch within a week. I waited another week and heard nothing. When I contacted him one last time I let him know we wanted the work done by the end of the year and he said he could get it done. After he didn't contact us, we moved forward with another contractor. It's now May of 2016 and we have yet to hear back from Seay Plumbing. Out of the 4+ contractors we initially surveyed he was by far the best and most professional... but his lack of follow through was so disappointing we went with someone else. Maybe it's better that we didn't hire him for the job.

He was very professional. He gave me the simple fix and gave me an option of the complete fix. I took the complete fix. A new tank in 30 minutes and I was good to go.

We noticed a spot and, later, a hole in the ceiling above our entryway caused by something above leaking. Also, my wife wanted the faucet in one bathroom changed so it would match the new bathroom light and other fixtures we were installing. John took care of that for us. He inspected the two toilets and found the one above the entryway had a wax ring that had dried out and needed to be replaced and the other needed the seals replaced where the tank attached to the toilet bowl. He replaced the wax ring and seals. When replacing the wax ring John identified another problem where the plumper who installed the drain pipes used a glue to join the pipes together that was not designed nor approved for that purpose. He could not be certain it wasn't the pipe that was leaking without cutting a hole in the ceiling below the toilet to inspect the rest of the plumbing. He told us to wait to repair the ceiling until we were certain the leak had stopped. At first we thought the problem was resolved, however, discovered we still had a leak. We will schedule John to return to cut an access opening in the ceiling so he can fully inspect the plumbing to the upstairs bathroom and determine the root cause of the leak so it can be repaired. We called John for the repairs, as he had replaced our two water heaters on a previous job. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, honest, and reasonably priced. On both occasions, John was very thorough, explaining in simple terms what the problems were and his recommendations on how best to resolve the problem. With the water heaters, he explained the pros and cons of various models to include the volume of hot water needed to meet our needs and those of any future home owners, and the cost for each to purchase and operate. This allowed us to make the best decision of which model to purchase. It was obvious the was not only interested in doing the job right, but also in trying to save us as much money as possible. His advice to wait on repairing the ceiling has now saved us money by avoiding having to repair it twice now that we know it is still leaking and he will have to cut a hole in the ceiling to find the source of the leak and repair it. Had he done that on the original visit, it would have cost us more to repair a bigger hole, plus his labor had he checked things out only to find the leak had been resolved. I will definitely be using John for all or our future plumbing needs. I have already referred several friends to him.

Rearranged schedule to come quickly so I wouldn't have to miss work. He cleared the line so water flowing out again (not in!), and explained what he found as he pulled roots out of the pipe. He talked me through options for a more long-term solution, including letting me know that an annual service visit to clear the pipe could be easier on the wallet than digging up yard to replace the pipe. I would definitely use Seay Plumbing again, and in fact will be in touch to have him take a look at a toilet that's been giving us problems for more than a year. Highly recommend.

We put our own gas lines in my our home this summer and needed to have the pressure checked to be sure no leaks before connecting to the gas. We had a heat n air guy check it and he wasn't very thorough or even seem too confident of what he was doing. We needed to feel comfortable before turning our gas on. I called Angie's list to find a good plumber that deals with gas lines. He answered the phone on the first call and talked to my husband and told him what to do and what could be going on. He said he could come check it or my husband could try what he said first. We opted for him to come for a peace of mind. We called on Monday afternoon and had an appt. Friday am. Johnathan was very thorough checking our lines. Explained everything he was doing as my husband and father who put the gas lines in followed. He complimented their work and also gave lots of good advice. He was very knowledgeable. He found 1 leak and said he was available to repair or if we preferred we could do and even told my husband how to do it and what to use. We opted to have this gentleman do it and it only took him a matter of a few hours including going to get a few supplies. This would have taken my husband a day or two to do I'm sure and still could have a tiny leak??? Jonathan is a very type A about his work and very safety conscious which is very important when it comes to GAS! We are so pleased with his work! It was well worth every penny spent to have this job done and the peace of mind "priceless"! We would definitely recommend Seay Plumbing! PS. There was also an Angie's list discount added to the bill that we didn't expect!

Our hot water temperature noticeably dropped overnight. I called John and then texted him my details as he took my call while on another job. He called me back when he said he would and said he might be able to come out that evening after his next job. A little while later he called back to say he could make it over (mind you, this is after your normal work hours). He came out to the house, assessed the problem, and talked through the options. After deciding to just replace the heating element, he completed the job within the hour. I also appreciate John offering brief consultation and general numbers regarding the current placement of my hot water heater and advice on where a new one should go.

John was very good about keeping us informed what he was doing and the cost of everything. He had an emergency with another customer but came to us after business hours to take care of us and didn't charge an after hours fee.

John was very responsive (within 24 hours) to my initial request for an estimate and to discuss what would be involved in connecting to city water. He was very professional, thorough, and up front with my questions. He was able to show up a day earlier than expected (good weather window) in order to prevent a rain delay. The job took less time than I expected and the work looks great! We have terrific water pressure now. (: I would definitely recommend Seay for any major (or minor) plumbing needs. John is a cut above many who I have worked with.

John is so professional and goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I called with an emergency situation and he fit me in right away. He was able to provide not only a quality fix- but recommendations and expertise on how to avoid issues like this in the future. Would highly recommend!

This was the only plumber that could get here before Wednesday as he squeezed us between appointments. They were able to fix it on the spot and solve our problem. I only gave a B on price because the hourly labor rate seemed higher than what we pay the plumber who normally does our work. Nonetheless I feel we got great value in a timely fashion.

John came out same day I called to check out the problem. My water heaters were 12 years old but still working. I wanted a price on new water heaters. He gave me a quote the next day.. His quote was reasonable and he was courteous and knowledgeable so I had him install 2 new water heaters a few days later. He was on time and worked fast completing the job in a few hours. He left everything extra clean and explained everything he did. This was a non emergency call, and John handled it fast and professionally. I will use him again in the future, and would recommend him to everyone.

John was great. I called him to unclog a toilet which would not clear. When I called him he was very professional and when I asked him to come on Saturday he was quick to explain that he could come on Saturday but that the price would be higher. I appreciated his honesty. About 15 minutes before the appointment John called me to say that his previous appointment was going long and that he would be 15 minutes late. Again very professional to let me know. When he arrived he quickly cleared the clog. I then asked him if I could get an estimate for installing an expansion tank on my hot water heater. He took a look at it and provided a quote and explained that since I had already paid for an hours labor he could install it then and I would avoid a future labor charge. I decided to have the work done. I also asked John to show me how to turn off my water service at the meter - He happily showed me. I will definitely use John in the future.

I'm trying to find a plumber that will give me an estimate for some work I need done. John answered the phone, he was nice enough, but their policy is that they don't get estimates over the phone (fair enough) but to come out and look at the job I have to pay them a service fee. I'm starting to believe plumbing is a racket as this is the second place that refuses to even look at the job without getting paid to come and see if they want to do the job.

Seay Plumbing responded to our call promptly. We called and scheduled in the same day. Mr. Seay checked our water heater, found the problem, and resolved the issue in a few hours. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We highly recommend him and will definitely call on him for any future plumbing needs.

He was punctual which is A+ in my book. He quickly scoped out the job and went straight to work. He unclogged the kitchen sinks first and was able to clear the drain very quickly. Not only that but he cleared under the sink and replaced everything when he was finished! He tested the sinks several times before concluding that the problem was solved and that there were no leaks. Then he went to the toilet where he quickly assessed the problem and replaced the necessary parts. Once again he was very neat and made sure there were no leaks. I would highly recommend Seay Plumbing...they are prompt, neat, professional and get the job done in a timely manner. Thanks Seay!!

SEAY plumbing was able to respond the same morning that I called about a water pipe that had frozen and cracked the night before. Because the water was leaking, my repair was prioritized, and he came within an hour of my call. The repair was done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use his services again, especially in an emergency.

Once again, everything about working with Seay Plumbing is smooth, efficient and effective. We have worked with Jon for about six years on our hobby farm and whether it's upgrading a master shower or fixing a burst pipe in the barn in 17-degree weather, Jon is prompt, reliable, courteous, and gets the job done well. In this case, there was a slow leak under the kitchen sink, that seemed only to happen when water was left standing in the sink for a period of time. I contacted Jon this morning, hoping he could come out today, because I'm supposed to have all of my work colleagues over for a holiday party tomorrow night. He said he would be here late in the afternoon, and arrived at about 4:30. He was able to identify the origin of the leak, although he could not determine why it was leaking because the drain and the silicone both appeared intact. Regardless, he re-set the drain, and cleaned up everything afterwards. The cost I quoted above is only an estimate, because since he wasn't sure why the sink should have been leaking in the first place, he said he did not want to bill me until I leak-test the sink tomorrow and determine that his repair has fixed the problem. That's what I call quality workmanship and quality customer service.

Plumber was very professional, informative, and display excellent customer service skills. After filling in the dirt, he reseeded my sod. He filled out the local government form for underground water leakage and detailed bill with work performed. Also, he left a company mug and frig magnet.

They fit us in on a sunday even though they we're very busy. Our water heater pressure relief valve was bad due to the heat settings on the water heater being set wrong. Thermostats replaced, pressure relief valve and they also changed out the pressure relief line to line that was proper under code. Previous plumbers did not do it by code. He was very thorough and professional. I feel comfortable now knowing that everything is safe and up to code. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Jon was wonderful and professional. He checked our hot water heater and determined it was the heating element. He had explained he could replace the unit or replace the part, he gave just the information for me to decide what we needed to do. We did discuss about replacing, but he felt Imay be able to get more use out of it and it may be better to wait till it really needed to be replaced. He was made sure everything was working properly before he left. I would defintiely use him again and let my freinds know.
