Description of Work: Mr. Seay arrived promptly for an appointment to repair a leaky faucet in our bathroom. The faucet was old, and he had to replace several parts, but he had it working well when he left, and it continues to work well. He was very pleasant and professional. Description of Work: My water heaters where leaking and needed to be replaced. John Seay quoted me a price that was pretty much on target with the final cost that included two water heaters and another piece of equipment to bring the system up to current code and to dispose of the old ones. John arrived on time and performed the work as agreed. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it every step of the way. He installed a number of valves to allow me to cut off the water to both water heaters or to just one of them in the event of a future leak or failure. John explained what maintenance needed to be performed and how to do it. (It is simple enough that I can do it myself.) John was very professional and, in my opinion, did an outstanding job. I will definitely use him again for any of my plumbing needs. I highly recommend him to others. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Description of Work: The water company notified us that there was probably a leak in one of our pipes because the bill was so high. I'd used Seay before and called them for this problem. As soon as we walked out the door, Mr. Seay identified the problem. A thick cluster of green grass drew his attention. He found a leaking sprinkler in the middle of the green circle. He shut off the water valve and gave us a form to complete and send to the water department. We received a $170.00 credit. This fellow is really the best. He had installed a garbage disposable for us a few years ago and it's running perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about Seay's service.

Description of Work: We noticed the flow valve in our front yard was leaking lots of water. This wa on a Sunday. I called Mr. Seay and got his voicemail. He called me back directly and let me know he was out of town for the weekend but could get to it Monday afternoon. I wasnt able to get any plumbers who advertised emergency weekend service to call me back, so I went with Mr. Seay. He came Monday afternoon just as he said and did a great job. He even put the dirt and grass back that he had to dig up so that you could hardly tell any work had been done. His work was great and cost was reasonable. I will call him again!

Description of Work: I was so impressed with Jon's professional and friendly service. He showed up and immediately got into the crawlspace to check the water heater. He determined the problem in 15 minutes flat, and even had the proper part (thermostat) on his truck. He made the repair and also checked on both heating elements for me. He waited until he could verify the water was heating, and suggested I follow up if I discovered it wasn't heating properly. As a first time homeowner, I am so glad to have found a plumber I can trust and count on - I am quite sure this won't be the last time I call him! As an added touch, he also have me a mug with his logo - you can bet that's my new work mug and I'll definitely be recommending him to anyone in need in the future!

Description of Work: This is the second time we've used Seay Plumbing. Mr. Seay installed new devices into two of our toilets and made adjustments on a third. They now all work like new. He knew exactly what he was doing and worked quickly. He was also courteous and friendly. On the first visit, one of his plumbers installed a garbage disposal that required some pipe refitting. Absolutely no problems. It seemed as if he had rehearsed the job before he did it. Great work then and now.

Description of Work: John Seay came to my house and looked at my plumbing problem, and diagnosed it after running tests. He also provided me with an estimate for work that needed to be done. He was so nice and very informative. I think he is an honest person who really knows his business. Excellent !!

Description of Work: Toilet was leaking through to the basement. I thought it was just the wax seal, but the plumber found a leak at the tank mounting bolts. After repairing the tank leak, he checked and found that there was still a leak downstairs and so he reseated the toilet with a new wax seal. He was efficient and did excellent work quickly. The price was way less than I had anticipated (and included both senior and Angie's List discounts). The owner/plumber was pleasant and personable. I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work done.

Description of Work: Had a slow leak in a drain pipe above the ceiling tiles in my basement which I'd tried to ignore for a long time. (The basement is furnished, but little used and, until recently mostly for storeage.) Mr. Seay (pronounced "see") diagnosed, repaired, ran lots of water to carefully check that the correction totally stopped the leak, then re-repaired to get the final bit of the cracked pipe replaced. Then he freely shared advice on plumbing possibilities and tips for a possible bathroom renovation. He and his helper responded to my call quickly, showed up early for appointment, cleaned up thoroughly.
