Description of Work: We've had septic issues for a while but 3 previous companies couldn't even find septic. Skyline did and emptied it. . . but still problem not resolved. Returned to auger line and so far so good. I was impressed with their speed of work, as well. Great service at a fair price!

Description of Work: We used skyline to pump out our septic tank. They didn't try to sell us anything that want needed and they were out on time and done super quick!

Description of Work: We have used Skyline for several things. We had a couple of emergencies this year, including a hose that warped outside during freezing weather and flooded the yard, stopped up sewage leading to a need to drain septic and clear pipes. In the past, We've used them for the past few years and have been quite pleased with their immediate arrival, service and costs.

I was concerned when I read your review about our company. Upon seeing your review this morning we went to pull the records for your waterline replacement from June 2014. Unfortunately, we were not able to find in our records where we replaced a waterline for you in June. We did find where we pumped a Septic Tank for you on Windsor Drive in June of 2013 as well in may of 2009 and appreciate you using Skyline for that work. We searched our records for June 2014 and found that we replaced 4 waterlines during the month of June but none of them were for $1000 or in the area of Windsor Drive. We also searched several months before and after and still could not come up with any paperwork for that word. Dear [member name removed], I am disappointed to read your review about our company. I have done some research and found out some information about the work that you needed to have done. On or around Dec 30, 2013 you called in for a field line estimate. We proceeded to call the Paulding County Environmental Health Department to request a drawing of your septic system and a copy of the soil test. I am not sure what day it was, but Lee went out looked at your property to work up a quote. I spoke with Lee and he remember that another company had quoted you to add onto your existing system. Lee looked into that option and did not think that that would be an option due to the poor soils on your lot. He did think that there would be enough room to put in a pump system and 195' up on the hill in your back yard as long as you had enough property up there. Lee remembered speaking with you or leaving a message inquiring exactly where the property lines were on the hill to make sure that there would be enough room up there to get the system in. He did not recall hearing back from you. If you called back with that information, I am sorry that we did not get back with you. Over the last 18 years we have always tried to take care of our customers and potential customers and follow up with them. I do remember that it was rather busy in Jan with the weather issues, freezing temps and snow. I do know that we did make at least 2 trips to your home, emailed a quote on Jan 15, 2014 and spoke with you or left a message with you a time or two. It appears that somewhere we dropped the ball on your job and for that I am sorry. We would appreciate the opportunity to serve you again in the future if the opportunity arises. Replacing an effluent pump on a septic system is rather expensive, but we do use quality pumps that carry a 3 year warranty which is one of the best in the industry. We will also continue to work to offer great service with economical pricing even though materials, dump fees, fuel costs and other operating costs continue to rise. Description of Work: On Sunday night I discovered that my septic tank had apparently reached its capacity limit and was backing up into my basement. I went on-line to Angie's List and made a list of three of the top-rated companies that could pump out the septic tank. On Monday morning I called all three companies and asked how much it would cost to have the septic tank pumped out and how quickly they could do the work. SkyLine Septic gave me the best price and said they could be at my home in less than an hour. I was thrilled! As promised, they did arrive in less than an hour and probed to find the exact position of the tank. They uncovered the lid and cleaned out some tree roots that were partially blocking the flow. They pumped out the tank and had me flush a toilet to check the flow. They recovered the lid and replaced the dirt they had removed. The SkyLine guys then loaded up their equipment and were gone in less than an hour. I've never had to have the septic tank pumped out before and was amazed at how quickly and affordably SkyLine handled the matter. While I hope never to need their services again I will certainly call them if I do have other septic tank issues.
