It was fixed same day. They had to leave to get the part, but came back as they said and completed the work. Because our furnace is getting older we asked for price for replacing furnace and air conditioner. We settled on a price. They called back a day later and increased the cost by $2000.00. Did not get the honest vibe they advertise! Have since found that they overcharged us for the part and labor by at least twice what it should have been.

They were professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job for us. They were curteous. They did what they were supposed to do and we were satisfied with their work.

The service turned out fine. They came out and fixed the issues and charged the standard rate. They were very professional and the repair man came on time.

It was great. They did it under extreme conditions in the middle of July. The system has been doing great. I called them a couple of times about a noise the unit was making, and they came right back and fixed the issues. The cost was reasonable and we got about 6-7 bids, and we got a very good value for our money. They crew was very great, professional, and polite. The cleanup was perfect.

It was fine. They got the job done in about a day a and half. The crew was fine. They did all of the gross cleanup, and I had the office cleaning crew do the fine cleaning.

I called Meeks on Thursday, December 26 around 5 PM. On Friday, around 9 AM, the repair man showed up. He was professional, a great communicator and KNEW HIS STUFF. I am not a person who knows these systems, but I was, at one time, an engineering major, and I have learned to build my own advanced computer systems, so I am not totally in the dark with electronics. So I understood when the Meeks repair man told me the things that were wrong with my system: 1. the original builder had someone wire the zones incorrectly. 2. When Sears put the new unit in last summer, they failed to expand the ductwork to handle the new load. This would eventually cause the unit to fail prematurely if not addressed in the near future. 3. When Sears wired the original zone board into the new system last year, they neglected to give it the proper power supply, instead joining it to the furnace's power supply, which was inadequate for both systems. 4. After the Sears people left last time, there was a power line to the zone board that was hanging off the board, something I had not seen prior to their visit. When it actually happened, I do not know, but I did not have air conditioning coming on before the third and final Sear's visit. The Meeks repair man gave me all the options, including what it would cost to replace the zone board and add the proper ductwork. He was extremely professional and courteous and engendered my trust. I have lived long enough to know, fairly quickly, when someone is not being honest. I believe that Meeks treated me honestly, fairly, and professionally and deserves the highest of ratings in my book. What he did not know was that I have cousins who run their own Heating/Cooling/Refrigeration business in New York. My cousin gave me a ball park figure for replacing a zone board. Meek's cost for replacing the zone board AND replacing two of the three thermostats AND adding the proper ductwork came in right at the estimate my cousin gave me. Even more impressive was the fact that the repairman said he could simply bypass the zone board and make the main thermostat a whole-house thermostat so that I could have heat back right now AND that, if I lived through the heating season and 1 cooling season and liked the 1-thermostat system, I might simply avoid the cost of changing the zone board. I should, however, get the ductwork done before the air conditioning season began. When he left, after several hours, we had heat throughout the house. Even better, I was able to breath a sigh of relief because I was worried that I had to put out a lot of money to get the system fixed now. You can bet that, whenever I need someone to work on my system, it will be Meeks. Even though my Sears system is under warranty, I will not call them unless it is basic maintenance.

Darrell arrived early and was professional. He did a good job of explaining what he was doing. They were running a discount and there was no problems there. I a/c unit back to running as it should. I will call Meeks and request Darrell next time I need service, He did everything expected. Bottom line, I'm happy with the results and I'm not easy to please... they are the 3rd I've called in two years and the first I've felt compelled to leave a review on.

Meeks had been servicing my old Carrier heat pump for the past 3 years and managed to keep it going until this April when it totally died. The service man was very professional and gave me all my options in an honest and open manner, he did not pressure me and allowed me time to research my alternatives. I decided to have an Amana 14 seer 2.5 ton heat pump system installed by Meeks. They were punctual, professional and courteous. They showed me the old unit and pointed out the damaged places. They cleaned up all of the debris and hauled it off. I have been very satisfied with my new heat pump and will continue to use Meeks Heating and Air.

The one repair under warranty with Meeks was professionally completed in time with only a weekend wait for parts. My requested checks result in service at appointed times. I would add that the original installation by a now out-of business firm was, to my knowledge, done well and my Amana system so far dependable. I am happy to have an installation with a ten year warranty and a dealer who performs services compatible with Amana's terms. I should close by saying one should always ask for a warranty for a certain term of time and then service provided as I have with Meeks.

Have used Meeks Heating and Air for all my service and repair work on my home and office AC systems over the past 8 years. . Excellent service and prices. All estimates were acurate and all work was done professionally. Would highly recommend this company and do recommend them to all my friends.

Next-day service. Repair was quick and easy. Technician was professional. No problems since repair. A little pricey, but quality work.

Meeks provided excellent service. We called Meeks at 8:00 a.m. and they were at our home before lunch. The part was replaced and the air is cool. They provided the service quickly and at an excellent rate. We highly recommend them and will be calling for any other services to our air conditioner or heating units.
