I have used Meeks since owning this home ( 17 years ) and once again they came to the rescue! i continue to use this company because I feel they provide honest service for a fair competitive price. David, Dylan and crew did a professional job all while being friendly and keeping me in the loop about what was going on. Will use them again if need arises in future.

They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They were very professional and courteous. Very good job all around.

It went well but I think the charge was more than I expected. Any AC service provider will never charge for diagnostic if they perform the repair. I charged for Trip (10 miles away) & diagnostic $69 do not why I already charged for the labor to replace the capacitor.

Ryan arrived on time and was very professional. He serviced both units and quickly determined that the problem with the pump was a clogged feed line. He cleared the line and replaced the safety overflow switch which he noticed was not installed properly. Also applied Angie's list discount for first time customers. They will be my permanent A/C company.

Service team arrived when they said they would, was very courteous and completed the project promptly with a minimum amount of disruption.

We got estimates from 5 different dealers. Mr. Meeks took the time to explain his recommended solutions for every issue we mentioned (and some we didn't). The product, warranties, and additional labor were not just competitive, their system gave us more bang for the bucks. They even talked me out of a more expensive system that saved me $4,000. Get the microfiber filter. It's a must if you have pets or other allergies.

It was a positive experience overall dealing with this company. It was a relief to finally find the right company to do the job. They were very informative and made my customer experience go very smoothly. My new Trane unit so far is doing a great job!

What I like best about them is their service, their pricing, and just overall. I've used them for several years now. I'll probably always use them while I live in this house.

My electric bills were unusually high during the winter and the HVAC was running a lot. I called Meeks Heating and Air to come out for a "wellness" check. The service person discovered a refrigerant leak due to a faulty evaporator coil. Thought it would take a few days for the part to be ordered, but the part was in stock, so the repair was done the next day. I was pleased to discover the part was still under warranty so there was no charge for it. Mr. Jeff Meeks and his employees do a great job and are very conscientious.

have used them for about 4 or 5 years. called to let us know they were on their way and was on time. Darrell is courteous and knowledgeable and will request him again if need be.

We cannot say enough good things about Meeks heating and air. The original technician that came out, Darryl, was very professional and polite. He took time to explain everything to us. He wanted to make sure that we knew everything that was needed to be done and wanted to make sure we knew what was needed. When the installers, Shannon and Jody, arrived they did a wonderful job. They explained everything and were very professional. They took the time to make sure that we were happy with everything and I would highly recommend them again! We are very pleased with our new Trane gas furnace and will be sure to call them again for anything that we might need!

Professional, not pushy, responsive on all fronts. Darrell was the rep who came to the house to determine system needs and he was my contact through the whole installation. The install team worked for two full days to complete the work. Installed all new Trane systems, added one return duct, two thermostats. All works very well and we are happy.

Last night, the upstairs (where the bedrooms are) had no A/C and it was 89 degrees. I was expecting my daughter to drive into town with a car load of friends this evening and I had no idea how I was going to accommodate sleeping arrangements in almost 90 degree bedrooms! I called Meek's Heating and Air this morning. The tech named Darrell was on call. Darrell did a little trouble shooting over the phone. Even though the things he had me try did not restore the air, I greatly appreciate that Darrell walked me through some things that might be common causes of no A/C. Darrell of Meek's Heating and Air left his home on a Sunday to come out and take care of my family! Upon arrival, Darrell was as cheerful as he was when he was here on thursday for an unrelated problem. Darrell performed a quick but thorough assessment, found a loose wire, secured the wire, and the A/C was restored! He explained his findings, what he did to remedy the problem, and gave me some suggestions on how to get the upstairs cooled sooner than later. I put the A/C on 75 in the "on" position "instead of my usual "auto position (I will adjust it back to "auto" when things have cooled in a few hours) and opened all the upstairs doors for a quicker cool down as recommended by Darrell. Darrell is an exemplary representative of Meek's. He is very pleasant with a kind demeanor, has keen assessment skills, and quickly works to problem solve. Meek's is the only heating and air provider that I will ever call when I need work performed.

I had my plumber here yesterday and he said I needed an air conditioning person instead, and I needed them right away, After some research, I chose to call Meeks Heating & Air and told them I needed someone to come next day. Even during this busy time of year, Mr. Meeks was able to work me into a tech's schedule! The office called me today and kept me informed of when to expect the tech. The tech arrived, was very pleasant, performed an assessment, and explained to me exactly what the problem was and what caused the problem. He was extremely professional, had all of the things he needed in which to perform my repair, and cleaned up the area completely. The tech, "Darrel," advised me on follow up care and what I needed to do to prevent future problems. The pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable. I received a new customer discount, and an Angie's List discount. However, if I would have added the new customer discount and the Angie's List discount back onto the invoice, I still would have considered the pricing EXTREMELY reasonable. Meek's service techs are very kind, customer oriented, very skilled at their professional, and honest, fair folks. I highly recommend this family owned and operated business that has grown their business to have brought in very special people like Darrel. I would ask for Darrel the next time I need service, but would trust any service tech that Meek's would send to my home.

Darrell showed up exactly on time and diagnosed problem as low Freon, he put in a pound of Freon and system works great. He also checked other units and said they were fine. It was a breath of fresh air to find a company that honest.

Darrell arrived exactly on time and was very thorough in his work, We have used Meeks before with very good service. Will use them without hesitation in future.

Daryl , as usual was here in the time he said with a courtesy call 20 minutes prior to arrival. Very polite, competent and efficient. This company is very professional and customer oriented. Honest and hardworking.

Outside temperature was in the 90s and about 85 in most of my rooms. Fixed the problem and the temperature dropped to about 75. The are just great especially Darryl who really knows about heating and air. Great customer service person also!!!!

Meeks Heating & Air has been my Heating/Air contractor ever since they have been in business. They serviced my old units until it failed completely. Then they installed my present unit in 2007. It has worked perfectly and very efficiently from day one. Meeks also installed a new unit in both my son's houses with great results. I would highly recommend this company for any heating and air service, repairs or replacement you may need. They are honest, professional and will do what they say they will do. I have known the owner practically all my life and this company is exactly what their logo says "A Good Name In The Service Business." This last repair was on the hottest day so far this year and they responded that day and got my air back in service. The tech was removing the cover and stated he thought he knew the problem before he got the cover off and sure enough the capacitor was the problem. It was starting to cool back down before he left. Now I can't say you'll get same day service every time but they will respond promptly. If I have any heating and air needs I know without exception I will call Meeks Heating and Air.

I was given an afternoon appointment but the tech did not show up until after 6PM. The system was running for about 30 minutes prior to his arrival and it became clear that it had a problem. The outside suction line was freezing over and the tech showed that the pressure on the suction line 40 psig instead of in the 60s. He wanted to add 1 pound of R22 to the system, but I insisted that this was a new problem that I did not have before. The original problem was that the unit does not heat nor cool enough. It turned out that the upstairs blower motor speed was on low for the winter, but the tech did not on insist on checking the airflow before charging the system. The system had a bad repair from years ago where the evaporator coil was left sitting in the condensate pan. There was some sort of mounting panel that was missing or rusted out that was never replaced. I have the same exact air handler on the other side of the house to compare/contrast. This provider marks the 4th or 5th tech who has came out to investigate this not "enough heating or cooling" issue and wouldn't take the time to investigate the airflow. All I wanted from the tech was to honestly investigate and fix this issue that has been going on for a long time without trying to make unnecessary repairs. After quite some time on google, youtube, and forums it turns out that the coil sitting in the pan is a major problem. Without the proper air flow, the heat from warmer air will not be transferred to the cooler gas in the coil. Only the gas in the evaporator coil is responsible for the heat transfer in something called superheat. I asked the tech explicitly about superheat and subcooling during his visit and he said that was important and I wasn't going to understand. I have since taken the time out of my schedule to understand which I shouldn't have to. I purchased a cheap R22 guage; thermocouple digital thermometer with wet bulb/dry bulbs; and a super cool slide rule from Amazon at my own expense. I made a repair to the missing panel in order to mount coil for the correct airflow. The unit is now cooling and the outside suction line is sweating instead of freezing. The high side pressure on the unit 215 while the low side is 65 psig (38F). The temp on the suction line is 46F which gives a superheat (46-38F) of 8F. The ideal super heat for that day was12F with an indoor wet bulb of 62F and a outdoor dry bulb of 80F. In short, the system is actually slightly overcharged with an actual superheat below the ideal by more than 3F. In other words, the tech was getting ready to charge a slightly overcharged because the airflow wasn't verified. The only good thing I can say for this company is that they didn't not charge me for the visit which he had every right to. However, he said he was going to talk to his manager and give us a call back and they never followed up after 3 weeks. I feel this sort of mistreatment brings in to serious question the value of being an Angie's list member. I felt compelled to write this review because they were going to overcharge a family member for a new coil and condenser. At the moment Angie's List is just a glorified yellow pages to me and the companies involved are not held accountable for anything.

These guys are top notch and really know their stuff. Above all, they are very trustworthy and bend over backwards to accommodate your schedule. I will go with no other Air service.
