McIntyre Fencing - Georgia

Description of Work: I had a security fence installed to enclose my backyard. Fence was constructed without the use of panels. My property slopes on the sides and the workers did a good job of matching the slope to the terrain. Instead of using a circular saw to rip boards to fill in sections that were not exact, a chainsaw was used which left uneven and rough edges. Also the bottom of some of the boards used for the gate were cut too roughly. The quality of some of the wood was less than desirable. Also, the spacing between the boards is not uniform which makes the fence look as if it was a DIY product. Unfortunately I was suffering from an injury and could not supervise the work more closely. Overall, the company was very responsive as were the workers on site. I wish the quality of some of the wood used had been better as I will have to change out many of the boards in the next year. This company offered the best pricing at $11 a foot and also honored an Angie's List coupon for a free gate. But if I had to do it over I would have asked for/insisted on panels which would have made my fence look much better or gone with another company.

Description of Work: The entire team at McIntyre was helpful in planning and developing our fence layout. There were a few challenges we could not resolve ourselves & they patiently helped us develop the layout and determine the product that worked best and was most cost effective. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to a friend. They were not the cheapest but they are professional & I feel very good about the price we paid for the material & install. The cheaper installer was a no show and left us in the lurch! McIntyre squeezed our installation into their schedule to keep our deadlines. You get what you pay for. On time, courteous installers, quality materials, quality workmanship, reasonable price!

Description of Work: removed some fence, installed some new fence and reused some of the old fence, which helped a lot with the price,drilled 3 core holes in concrete. Was done in a day,cleaned up everything.Will use them again if ever needed.Good people doing a good job.
