My elderly parents (90's) had been telling us that their roof leaked. It had been replaced a few years ago. Since Jerry had just completed a roofing job for us (and we were very pleased), we asked him to check their roof and to give us an plan to repair. When Jerry came for the estimate (he called us on his way for us to meet him at their house on Dixon Dr in Gainesville, GA), he quickly found the source of that problem and a second leak problem. He was able to make the repairs right then! It was a fair price and so nice not to have to schedule another visit. We were all pleased.

Absolutely wonderful. His office kept in touch with me the whole time to make sure it was done in a timely manner and to see that I was pleased. Very good customer relations.He put a roof on 10 years ago in one day and it is still just wonderful.

I HIGHLY recommend Hewatt Roofing! A+++ During the recent heavy rains, we had moisture find its way in to our screened in porch. Frantic, I searched high and low for the best roofers in our area. The company that kept rising to the top of the reviews in our area (Both Angie's List and BBB) was Hewatt Roofing. I called and was fortunate to quickly get on the calendar for an inspection. Within minutes of the initial inspection, Jerry had pinpointed the cause of our roof leak and provided his recommendation on how to repair it. He also provided a lightning fast written estimate that we received on the same day of his inspection. The day the work was scheduled to begin, Jerry was punctual, professional and did an outstanding quality job. Several days after the repair we had a monsoon rain that lasted hours. The repair held! Not a hint of moisture. If Jerry performs work in your service area, look no further for a roofer. He's the best!

It went very well! Jerry arrived when he said he would. He followed me up to the attic, from the steps he spotted what the problem was. He then told me how much it would cost and how long it would take him to complete the job( which was 35 min). Jerry, finished at the time promised and there have been no issues since. I would highly recommend Jerry's company, they are fast, fair, and trustworthy!

It went very well, Jerry was punctual, courteous, and very professional. He found the problem in 2 minutes, told me how long it would take to repair, and how much it would cost. He was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I would definitely use his company again!

Gave me an estimate which I accepted. Called a few days prior to installation. Showed up on time. Finished the job in 3 hours. You cannot even tell that the roof has been repaired, since it matches perfectly. Cleaned up completely after finishing and I paid him exactly what he estimated.

Jerry was on time and very professional, he checked the roof leak from inside, saw the leak was coming from a vent pipe and was able to fix the problem right away. Jerry showed me the damaged boot around the pipe and explained exactly how he replaced it with a new one. I was so pleased with his work that I will definitely recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

After very heavy rain, leak observed in upstairs bathroom. Mr. Hewatt promptly came out, assessed the overall condition of the roof, and recommended replacement of areas that had not previously been replaced due to fallen tree. He did a quick temporary fix and made arrangements for repair date. On the repair date, he showed up bright and early and then a considerably large crew arrived (9-10 men?). They got to work in several areas simultaneously and polished off the job by 1pm with good clean up. Had contact with Mrs. Hewatt by phone several times and she was very pleasant.

They have one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. They are very professional and efficient. Their pricing is excellent. I just can't say enough about them. My experience with them was just one of amazement. They showed up and replaced the roof at 6:30. There were two layers of old roofing on the house. They came in with a rubber tired dumpster which didn't cause any difficulty in my driveway. They stripped the roof off. They had 12 people here. They were done stripping the roof by about 9:00 in the morning and installed the roof with a number of complications. And, including new gutters, they were done by 2:30 in the afternoon, cleaned up and gone. There was never a nail left. Nothing was damaged. It was really amazing to watch how well they coordinated and what a good job they did. They used the absolute top of the line architectural shingles. That made such a difference in the house. I wouldn't use anybody else.

Jerry Hewatt does outstanding work! I had two issues with my gutters. First I had a problem with squirrels building nests inside of my covered gutters. From there the squirrels were chewing on the facia boards leading into my attic. The second issue is a gutter downspout that was missed when I had work performed earlier in the year, and the downspout was not directed into an underground pipe carrying the water away from the house. Jerry came out to analyse the issues and provided a quote. He removed the cover off of two gutters so the squirrels would no longer have a tunnel and would be exposed to the air and local hawks. He cleaned out the nests and leaves and promised to return the following week to place sheet metal along the facia boards sealing the crack into the attic so the access would be sealed from the squirrels. As promised he returned the next week and completed the work on the gutters. He also brought in a specialist to build a downspout pipe that carried the water from one gutter to the downspout of another gutter that was connected to the underground pipe. The work was outstanding on both issues. There were two short gutters that another contractor had put facia sheet metal on that we knew the squirrels could not eat into the attic though. Jerry mentioned that if the squirrels returned to build nests there, he would come out and remove the covers from those gutters also. Sure enough the squirrels did return and start to build nests in those two remaining covered gutters. True to his word Jerry came by and removed those covers also at no additonal charge. I am very pleased with Jerry's honesty, work ethic, and professionalism. I highly recommend Jerry Hewatt!

He was on time and completet work schedule

My call was returned promptly. Due to recent heavy rains they were not able to come out for a couple days, but that was fine with me. Called the day of the service to set a 2 hr. time window and was on time. Spotted the problem immediately and though it could be fixed by anyone willing to climb on the roof, I had Jerry do it. He also offered some background information about the shigles used on my roof. He did not try to sell me any further services.

The weather was rainy all week and I was very pleased that Jerry Hewatt came to the house to estimate the job and complete the work on the first none rainy day. Jerry was excellent from start to finish. Would recommend him to others.

The people were were very nice to work with, performed the job promptly and we have had no additional problems.

Mr. Hewatt and his crew arrived to give me a beautiful architectural roof after I had damage during the March 2008 hail storm. I had about four different estimates, and though Mr. Hewatt was not the lowest, he brought letters from people he had done work for. He checked and worked with the crew throughout the day, and told me there were a couple of boards that needed replacing. This boss showed me the boards that would be taken off. After all the work was done, he came back and checked everything thoroughly. I called him back because I didn't think some of the panels were laying down as they should. He came back the same day I called, and showed me where the problem was with the gutter. I called him back again several months ago, because I had a leak in the basement after we had already paid a plumber over $1,000+ to seal the basement with tar and plastic, Even though Mr. Hewatt had recently had heart surgery, he and his wife drove up and showed me how the gutters did not slant as they should. ( Don't call me about the gutter company, because I do not have a good recommendation for them). I have a beautiful roof, and I would recommend Jerry Hewatt Roofing to anyone. I am sure he will promise you that if you have a problem with his work, he will take care of it.

He has a crew that has been with him for 18 years. Its a large crew and they were able to take off two layers off and replaced wood and refelt the entire roof and completed one side of the roof all in one day. Jerry is a good and honest man. I would refer him to anyone. I used to be in the roofing business and he is the best I have ever seen.

Jerry was on time, professional, courteous, and thorough. I found myself a new roofer when I need one.

He is fabulous and so good. My husband dealt with them and we were just extremely impressed. We don't always pick the one who has the lowest price and we pick the one who does the best quality work. My husband will go and look at jobs they have done in the area and the cheapest is not always the best especially when you are talking about major home things like windows and doors. He came with a crew of eight people and they did the work in one day. They did a perfect job and cleaned up every tiny little bit of debris and took it away. That was really convenient as well as having done a good job in putting up the roof. We have recommended him to lots of people.

The supervised crew arrived on time and the job was completed in less than 3 1/2 hours. They worked quickly, efficiently and fairly quietly. Downspouts were even brought in case I changed my mind so it was nice to be able to see the old downspout with one of the new gutters and make my final decision. The crew cleaned up nicely after themselves so that I couldn't even tell they had been here. All phone calls were promptly returned and everyone I encountered on the job was courteous and VERY respectful. I would engage this company again

These people are remarkable! They arrived with a large crew at 6:30AM, stripped off the two layers of old roofing, installed superior underlayment, the best architectural shingles on the market (life time guarantee), ridge vents, carefully removed and replaced shingles under supports for an awning, worked around and carefully protected the landscaping, carted away the debris using their own rubber tired trash hauler, cleaned up the yard thoroughly (no nails or debris anywhere) and departed our property by 2:30PM. The next day another crew replaced our gutters and installed gutter guards. I've never seen such a well coordinated and courteous construction crew in my many years as a home owner.
