My neighbor had used Hewatt Roofing several times and referred Jerry. Jerry and Pam are terrific in terms of timeliness, responsiveness , courtesy , professionalism and workmanship. As the other reviews have stated, Jerry is is up on the roof with his crew and their is a mutual respect and admiration they share for each other. You will have an excellent experience working with both Jerry and Pam, who runs the office.

We had discovered a very small leak in our MB closet and upon inspection found we had roofing issues. We had thought about patching the roof and Jerry was amicable with discussing our options and also provided a full replacement estimate. After debating with ourselves on which way to go we decided to have the entire roof replaced. Jerry's wife Pam is super to deal with and very customer oriented even though we changed our minds a couple of times during the intital "what to do" phase. Jerry and his crew showed up promptly bright and early on the day agreed upon. We have a very large roof with steep pitch and were doubtful his crew could finish the same day. They did finish the same day, cleaned up the yard, including debris and nails. The roof looks great! We have not found a single nail anywhere! I highly recommend Jerry and is company and would call them again in a second. If you are looking for honest, hard working, and friendly you need look no further than Jerry and his wife.

Jerry came out to replace some missing shingles recently blown off our roof. To our surprise there were more missing shingles than we had expected. Jerry took pictures and shared with us, replaced the missing shingles, and ensured we had no damage in the overhead ceiling. Jerry was quick to finish the job and very professional. We will definitely use him in the future and highly recommend his services to others.

Over the past two years, Jerry has come to our house to help with minor repairs. This year, Jerry and his crew did a complete tear-off and re-roof of our house. We called Hewatt Roofing after having another roofer solicit us for roofing repairs. Our neighborhood had been heavily canvased by roofers claiming our homes had defective shingles and needed full roof replacements. We were skeptical of these other roofers' claims, so we researched local quality roofers. We decided to give Hewatt Roofing a call because they have been in business for a long time, have a good track record with the BBB, and are highly rated on Angie's List. I believe that Jerry Hewatt himself came out. He did the inspection (for free) and told us that our roof looked like it was in good shape, and that we did not in fact have the defective shingles. He was very friendly, informative, and prompt. I would not hesitate to call him again if I found I needed a roofing inspection or repairs.

Mr. Hewatt and his wife are so nice. They immediately make you feel like you are using a company you can trust. The roof was replaced in a timely manner and just recently when I had the gutters cleaned, the technician expressed that he had not seen a nicer roof in a long time!

I initially contacted Hewatt Roofing on line. Mrs Hewatt responded quickly and we set up an appointment for Mr Hewatt to look at my roof and provide a quote for replacing it. He came the next day - I was not home but he was able to come up with a quote and called me that afternoon. After accepting the quote, we arranged for a day and time for them to do the work. The crew was at my house before the sun came up, delivering the shingles and decking plywood and other supplies. They immediately started removing the old shingles. I was amazed at how cleanly they did this - I went to work at 8:30 AM and they had removed the shingles from most of the roof - Mr Hewatt did say that they would replace old and damaged decking, at additional cost per sheet of plywood, which I understood and agreed to (I did have several leaks, so I knew that there probably was some damage). They installed a new ridge vent, replaced 5 sheets of decking, arranged to have some gutter replaced that had been damaged by a fallen tree and provided a 5-year warranty on all workmanship. By 2:30 that afternoon, the job was finished, all the old roof materials were cleaned away and gone, and I had a new roof. Even the old roofing nails were cleared away - I have found only 1 since then. I was very impressed with their attention to leaving the yard clean and with no evidence of having torn off an old roof. They never asked for a deposit and, after they e-mailed a final invoice, I mailed a check. It's been a year since the work was done and no leaks, no loose shingles, and I am very happy with my roof. Mr and Mrs Hewatt were very helpful, punctual and knowledgeable, answered all my questions and performed exactly as promised. I would highly recommend Hewatt Roofing.

I was impressed. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I was with the work he did. He came very early in the morning before the sun had a chance to really get the roof. Whenever you put new roofing, the dull will always show. But he took the extra effort to get here very early and used what was there, and he did a wonderful job. The price was reasonable. He was knowledgeable, quick, thorough, willing to maintain the appearance of the roof by coming early, and using possible existing roofing. I used your magazine. It is my own single. He was able to say so.

excellent service and very professional, business owner showed up early for site & material prep, very organized work force, clean up was outstanding, done in 1 day, highly recommend, only roof contractor(out of 5) that actually had samples and left full documents with samples of material quoted.

Mr.Hewatt arrived on time and I showed him the area of my roof that I thought would need repair. I also asked him to inspect the rest of the roof to see if there were any potential problems that should be taken care of. After carefully inspecting my roof, to my surprise, he said that everything looked fine. The area that I thought the workmanship was suspect, was actually OK, as well as the rest of the roof. The only problem he saw was not with the roof but evidence of wood rot on the trim around the chimney area. Cost......NO CHARGE! It is hard to find someone who is honest and fair-minded as Mr. Hewatt and I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs any roofing work done. By the way, upon request, he also recommended someone who would take care of the wood rot. Tim Johnson Contracting, LLC, located in Loganville, Ga. whose work I was equally pleased with. Mr.Hewatt and Mr. Johnson have both been placed on speed dial in my phone!

Mr. Hewatt showed up early. He began working almost immediately, before his crew arrived. All of the work was done quickly and efficiently. All debris and trash was removed. Nothing was left behind. The job was completed much faster than I expected. My new roof looks great. Mr. Hewatt provides quality work at a very reasonable price.

I called Jerry Hewatt based off of great reviews and he lived up to everything positive I read. I called his office on Wednesday and spoke to his wife. She was more than pleasant and accommodating of my schedule. Jerry was able to stop by two days later and completed the work quickly for a more than fair price. I am more than satisfied with the experience and will be calling him for any roofing needs in the future.

They were extremely professional, curtious and prompt. Everything was explained in detail so that it was very easy to understand what exactly needed to be done. Unfortunately, his cost was extremely expensive.

They arrived early and eager to get started. The work was all done very well and it was all done in a day. There was no dumpster sitting around. They brought their own trailer and all the trash was cleaned up and gone by the time I came home. The roof looks Great!

This was my first experience with Angie's list. Our roof had to be replaced due to storm damage and after searching the list and reviewing roofing companies in the area I selected Jerry Hewatt Roofing. From the first call to Pam to the completion of the job by Jerry and his team the experience was the smoothest major project I have ever experienced. Very pleasant, knowledgible people who answered every single question and put me at ease through their words and actions. He showed up exactly on time for his inspection of my roof. When the insurance company told me to get a tarp on the roof Jerry was there early the next morning and got it done. He told me about his experienced team and that the job was going to be completed in one day on my upscale house. I asked about cleanup of the materials coming down off the roof and preventing damage to shrubbery. He told me the measures he takes to prevent damage and has one guy that works cleanup throughout the day. The area had been experiencing a lot of rain but the weather cooperated and they worked me into their schedule quickly letting me know the approximate timing and then beat the date. The work got started ahead of time that day as Jerry wanted to get an early start. They were there got set up and worked steady and got the job done in one day as promised. The new roof looks great and really made such an improvement in the curb appeal as well as fixing the storm damage. These people provided the kind of customer service that is always sought but seldom achieved. Thanks Jerry, Pam, and your whole team.

It turned out well. What impressed me the most was that he seemed to have a lot of experience and know what he was talking about. The work was completed in just a couple hours.

It was excellent! They completed the work in one day and their cleanup was good. They were very good about returning calls and they kept me well informed. They were very friendly. The price was competitive too.

Replacing your roof is never a project that you want to have to do but is necessary. This was the easiest home project that I have been a part of. Jerry and Pam made this such wonderful experience. From the shingles being delivered to the day of installation. Jerry and Pam have perfected this process in such a way it was flawless. I can not stress enough what a great experience this was. When I sent a request for an estimate, I received an "acknowledgement" response the same day. The next day I was contacted with an appointment for 3 days later for an estimate. Jerry was prompt, courteous, professional. He explained our options. Only part of our roof needed to be replaced (20 yrs old). Another part had been replaced more recently, but needed repairs and venting. Jerry was able to match the new shingles to the old. It all looks great. He and his team were efficient, finishing in one day and cleaned the yard completely. We asked to delay the gutter job until we could have some trees trimmed away from the house. His staff worked with us to schedule as we needed. The gutter team were also very efficient, polite, respectful. They cleaned up afterwards in a great way! We would definitely recommend Jerry Hewatt for your roofing and gutter needs.
