Matt took care to work with me to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction. Questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner and I am confident that the new roof will last a long time. There was a lot of extra work done due to hidden rot on the facia boards, and the estimates given for repair were very close to the final bill.

He is very nice and gave us a quote right away. He responded immediately and supplied great followup. He was very good. My husband thought the price was very reasonable for new, bigger gutters. The fellow who came out was excellent. He was clean-cut, very respectful, very prompt, seemed to be dependable. We are planning on using them.

We decided not to address the problem at this time, as it was not urgent. Mat called several times to check on our decision. He could not have been nicer and was persistent in all the right ways. Anita Yates

My renter called me just after Christmas to tell me that a tree branch had struck the roof of my house and made a hole. My homeowners insurance recommended one contractor, who presented me with an outrageous estimate for the relatively small damage done (about 1' hole in roof). I looked up Matt's Roofing on Angie's List and gave them a call on New Year's eve (a Monday). They were able to look at the house, give me an estimate by phone within a day, and have the work completed in two. By Friday, the hole was patched and everything was taken care of. And for a fraction of the original estimate from the first contractor! Quick service, reasonably priced, would use again.

Good overall. He answered all of my questions and performed the work as expected.

We have been unable to set a date for the estimate that is good for both of us, however, the emails and attempts were very professional and the response time was immediate. When I decide to try again to complete this project I will make contact. I was very impressed.

Matt was one of 6 roofing companies, all chosen from Angie's List, that provided me a quote to replace the roof on my carriage house. He was the best price by far and included a much needed drip edge all the way around the edge of the building. In fact he was the only one who noticed the rotting wood and the need to install a drip edge. That attention to detail was impressive. Matt and his crew arrived when they said they would and provided the service we agreed on in the contract. Matt stood out from other roofers that I have used before because he also acted as the foreman on the job and worked along side his team even though he owns the company. This is truly the mark of a leader and I am glad that I chose Matt for the job. The roof turned out perfectly and they were very through in their clean-up afterwards.

Matt's Roofing was an exceptional find on Angie's List. Reading the reviews made me wait to make my decision until we had an opportunity to get together. Many of those I spoke with said-- "Let me know if someone has a lower bid and we'd like the opportunity to match their price!" I am not haggling with anyone for a price. With Matt-- what he said and how his team approached was all business. He delivered what he committed to. Matt was open and frank about the issues he found on the roof. He was a tremendous asset with revamping the attic ventilation and ensure everything was cleaned up properly prior to leaving the work site. I am very pleased with Matt's Roofing and Gutters and will definitely have them perform more work at my home. There is a great peace of mind when you have people working at hour home whom you trust to be there.

Overall it went great! They clean and replaced half roof the 1st day, and the other the next day. Installed all vents and 1 gutter. Also reattached existing gutters.

They were excellent. The overall experience was excellent. I will definitely use them again in the future if I need to.

I was so impressed! We had a hole in our skylight and there was a storm forecasted. Called on Friday and they were the only ones that answered the phone. Matt was out within the hour and they tarped the roof. His estimate to replace was lower than I expected and after the storms blew through, they were out the next day to replace the skylight. Work was performed in a timely and very professional manner. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

I found him on Angie's List. Matt replaced the roof on my home. He was very methodical and detailed. He did an excellent job picking up the nails all over the yard. The owner came out with a roller and picked them all up himself. I would use them again in the future if needs aries.

Took off old shingles, replaced with new shingles. Repaired facia board and replaced gutters.

They offered what they said and were able to come the next day for this job..although they were a few hours late coming but did call to let me know they were running behind. As far as I can tell so far, they did a good job and also painted the pipes on the roof upon request

Dealing with Matt was great. We selected three companies from Angie's list to give quotes. Since we work all day, Matt arranged to come when it was convenient for us. He personally went up and inspected the roof. He did not try to up-sale us. He listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions that were less expensive, but he felt would work better for the gutters. He even made suggestions on the color. He provided us with a detailed package that included his insurance. His quote came under the companies. When we pointed out some ventilation suggestions, he went into the attic to check out what else would be needed. His office called us and informed us when the crew would start. His crew all wore fall protection. A supervisor was on site the whole three days. Only one day caused us a weather delay. But his office immediately caused us to tell us what was happening. They kept the work site very clean. We only found five nails stuck in the cracks on our deck after they left. Matt came and did a final walk through with us. We were very impressed with Matt and his crew. I am sold on his work. I've already mentioned his name to several friends.

They responded to my initial call very promptly. Matt came out to give me an estimate the second day after I called. He was very professional, and gave me some fair advice concerning the best things I should do to replace my gutters. We negotiated a price and then scheduled a date for the replacement to occur. The workmen arrived on time, were very nice, and even went the extra mile to seal up a hole in my roof that they found while replacing the gutters. I would absolutely recommend them.

We evaluated three roofing companies. All three gave competitive quotes. They were all professional and had the appropriate paperwork. Matt was the only one that did roofing only and actually got up on the roof. Most shops simple use some satellite photos to get a square footage and simple give you a quote. I truly believe you need boots on the ground or in this case on the roof to really get an accurate assessment. There something to be said for a Shop that doesn't Do Everything and does one thing only and does that very well. They're crew showed up on the day scheduled. They worked six days straight and even waited for a storm to pass to continue the work. The foreman was very friendly and was onto of the project everyday. They didn't nail in steps on the roof for the workers to move around on. This is was one of the main reasons I had to have 20 sheets of plywood replaced. They used ropes and harnesses to move around the roofing. What impressed me the most was toward the end of the project. One of workers went around the entire perimeter picking up any trash and excess nails. He must of went around the area 3 times. I have yet to find any evidence that they were even there. In addition, they continue to finish up some chimney issues throughout the coming weeks. Unfortunately, they had some measurement issues that prevented them completing the 1% that was left to be completed. This wasn't too much of an issue for me since the roof was completed. I rather had them take the time to get the job done right then for them to rig something together and try to fit a square peg in a round hole. They even suggest some problem areas that may be an issue that outside the scope of their work like a hole in the stucco that bird made in the chimney. I purchased their gutter system which was actually a powder coat mess that was the only system that made sense to me. All the leaf guards and sponge systems were products I couldn't see actually working especially with ATL downpour. If you want a job done right without gimmicks, you should call these guys.

I had a leak in three separate areas: a master bedroom closet, second upstairs bathroom and guestroom closet. I called Matt's Roofing for an inspection and estimate on Friday, October 7, 2011. Matt and his partner came on Monday, October 10, 2011 They were both cordial and professional. In a very short time Matt explained exactly what he thought was going on with my roof;: a builders design flaw that left areas around the chimney exposed. He gave me in writing what the repairs would entail and the cost (including the 10% discount for being an Angie's List member). I pointed out a problem I was having with one of the down spouts. He took a look at it an told me that it was a simple problem and to go to Home Depot or Lowe's and purchase two relatively inexpensive parts. We scheduled the repair for October 19, 2011. Matt arrived at the scheduled time and within a few hours the work was completed. Matt brought the two parts I needed for my downspout and installed them without any additional cost. He told me what to check for when it rained next and to call him if there was any indication of continued leakage. It has rained several times since the repair. I am confident that the problem was solved timely and at a reasonable cost. I really appreciate Matt going the extra mile and repairing the downspout problem as well.

Using care and thoughtfulness combined with quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, Matt and Joey made our choice of roofing contractor a very positive one. With my husband in Afghanistan, I needed to relay the information presented by the different roofing contractors to him via Skype. The time Matt and Joey spent to fully explain the process and the timeframe our project would take, reinforced confidence and made me feel that I was involved in every part of the project.The workers where highly respectful of our home and surroundings, tidying up the total surrounding area at the end of each of the 4 days they worked on the project. One of our biggest concerns was the "mess" we were expecting with our roofing project, which was quickly dispelled with Matt's Roofing and Gutters. During the process of installing the roof, Joey noticed some problems with our chimneys that Matt took time to explain to me in great detail. He made sure that I knew what was going on and what needed to be done to fix it. I would never have known there was a problem if they had not been paying attention to every little detail while working on the project. After the roof installation was complete, Matt came out to inspect, not only the outside of the house and roof, but he came inside to check my attic space as well. He wanted to make sure everything was in order in the attic. While inspecting the attic, he pointed out that the fan in the attic should not be running constantly as mine was. I had heard it running all of the time, but had no idea what it was. He immediately made arrangements to have it taken care of. Again, he exceeded my expectations, by taking the time to handle things that were outside of the scope of the roofing project. My husband has not had to concern himself with any aspect of this project, as we both know we made the right decision to place it in the capable hands of Matt's Roofing and Gutters. We would highly recommend Matt's Roofing and Gutters to anyone who is looking for a high quality roofing company that is pleasant to work with and delivers a high quality product, on time, and at a fair price.
