EVANS GARAGE DOORS

It was a wonderful experience! We had a problem with our garage door. My husband contacted Mr. McGee. They were here quickly, was extremely friendly, explained what was going on, and had another garage door opener with him. He installed it and was extremely pleasant and informative! Nothing but praise! We had a few issues that he talked and walked us through since then!

Service was awesome, he arrived within one hour of calling and new exactly what to do once we described what happened. The garage door was operational in less than an hour of him arriving. He also did a couple of other low cost preventative maintenance on the garage door. I got the contact from Angies list and once I read other reviews I decided to go with Evans Garage Door. I was not disappointed and will use this company for all future garage door maintenance.

Was able to provide same-day service to replace the broken spring. He also repaired the cable anchors on the door, which were damaged when the spring broke, tightened all the fittings, and lubricated all the moving parts. The door works correctly again and is quieter than it has been in years. Could not ask for better service, and the price seems entirely reasonable.

. I The gentleman that came out knew what he was doing and did a very good job, and we have not had any problems since. I cannot remember the date they were here, or how much we paid, (I do remember that it was more than I would like to pay, but isn't everything) I will use them again when the need arise and we still are going to replace the doors from the current wood one to the lighter metal ones that are insulated.

They placed the sensor back on track, oiled the tracks and serviced the door opener. Made sure all was great, had me try it and were done in great time.

From first contact til the last screw was in Kendall was GREAT! He worked hard at removing the original door and tracks and putting in a beautiful Garage door, with motor , and opener and remotes . I will be bragging about him for a longtime.

I saw some reviews on Angie's List and his hours are good. He's flexible at any time. He shares information freely and he gives me tips on the proper maintenance with what I could do and what I could look for. It may not help him but it would help you. Other technicians don't do that. The tips were very helpful. The price was what he said. He gave me an estimate over the phone for the broken spring.

As other reviewers have noted, Kendall's work ethic is refreshing! He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He spent a lot of time showing us the features of our new openers. He is honest and trustworthy. We had one opener that he told us had a lifetime warranty and could be replaced for little cash outlay. However, we could not take advantage of that because it came with the house and we had no receipt. But we were impressed that he was honest about that. We highly recommend him to family and friends!

Kendall was extremely responsive, very knowledgable and customer service driven. The cost to repair the garage door was more expensive than replacing it. We ended up with a quieter door, more reliable remotes and Wifi capabilities.

Kendall is an amazing young man!!!!! His work ethic is unmatched by anyone I have ever met. He came to my house promptly when I initially called him for an estimate. He explained the pros and cons of different doors and motors and suggested one that was not the top of the line, but very good quality and one that more than met my needs.. We set an appointment to install the door and Kendall showed up right on time as promised. When Kendall started working, he never stopped until the new door and motor where installed and checked out. On that day Kendall was working by himself and doing the work of two men. He removed our old wooden garage door (which was extremely heavy) by himself and install the new metal door, including replacing the entire track system, installing the new motor and drive chain, spring, indoor and outdoor control panel and special decorative trim. When the work was finished on the installation, Kendall thoroughly explained the operation of the new control unit and how to program it for the remote buttons in my cars. He also loaded the old heavy wooden door onto his truck by himself (even though I offered to help him). Kendall worked non stop for about 4 or 5 hours, not even stopping for a lunch break. (On an extremely hot day) He is extremely professional and takes pride in his excellent workmanship. We could not be more pleased with our new garage door and we could not be more please with Kendall and his company (Evans Garage Doors). I would not hesitate to very highly recommend him and his company to anyone in need of garage door services, be it repair or replacement.

Absolutely the best person to call if you have a problem with your garage door. I have used him three or four times now. Always on time, always courteous, always professional and always fair with his prices. In this county where I live all the providers have adjusted their prices because of the well-to-do and rather wealthy people moving into it. He has not. I don't even think about trying to do anything myself to my garage door. Excellent service

Called and spoke to Kendall in the morning and arranged for him to come by in the early evening to look at the garage door. He arrived on time, confirmed what the problem was, quoted me a fair price, and had the work done in about an hour. Very happy with the work. It's nice to deal with someone who is honest, knows what they are doing, and does what they say they will.

The service provided by this company went exactly the way I wanted it to go. Unfortunately, I do not remember the young man's name, the date of service or the price because it occurred several months ago and I am away from my residence at the moment. My garage door was off the tracks and I had no way to close the door to secure the house. The owner of the company was prompt and very professional in the repair of my door. In fact, due to the age of the door, he found several other things that needed repair, and he took care of it all. As I remember, the price was very reasonable as sticker shock did not come into play. I will use this company in the future and would certainly recommend their services to anyone.

His price was about $600 less than my other two quotes. He completed the job on time and on budget. He did a job for a friend of mine. My friend gave him a nice bonus because he was so pleased with his service and price. You can't beat doing business with this company, I wish Augusta had more business owners like Kendall.

We had a garage door support beam come loose from the wall. Although Kendall was overbooked due to storm damage in our area, he STILL came out to our home on the day he promised. It was several hours later but he was accomodating us! I couldn't believe he came so late and charged so little. I was expecting a much larger bill! While there he also checked our garage door opener and the door! I feel better knowing everything checked out and when time comes to replace we WILL call Kendall again!

Everything went great. Scheduling was very easy. Service was performed ontime and for less than the quoted price. I was being forced to manually override the saftey beam in the mornings due to sunlight, by holding the garage door button until the door was fully down. When the serviceman arrived he made the change that I had requested. When he finished, we noticed that one of the two garage door springs was broken. He had the part in his truck, so I had the spring replaced as well. Combining the two services - I was given a small discount beyond the normal angieslist coupon. Everything works great now.

During a recent ice storm, our garage door broke and would not open. Called Evans Garage Door and Kendall McGee was professional and scheduled our repair. He arrived on time, called ahead as agreed and completed repairs very promptly. He immediately knew what the problem was (door spring broke). He replaced the spring and supplied us with a new remote. Our old remote was lost in a car wreck. Could not have asked for a more professional job and he explained how the garage door operates and pointed out good facts about our particular model that we should know for future reference.

The were extremely responsive, I called at 5:45 AM when I realized the problem, and they were at my house in about 30-40 minutes, and had it repaired in 45 minutes after that, and was still able to get out of my garage for work by 7. He did mention that he was booked up later in the day, so if I hadn't called so early, he wouldn't have been able to get out until that evening/night. But great work, very satisfied!

Service was great. Called up on a Saturday morning and he was there in an hour and had the problem fixed in about another. Very professional and actually took the time to explain exactly what he was doing. Would strongly recommend their services.

We moved in and had only 1 remote operating only 1 of the 2 garage doors. Also needed key pad reprogrammed. They came out within 1-2 hours of the call, sold us 2 remotes, programmed them with new codes and linked up the controls already factory installed in our cars. Also checked out our garage doors & made minor adjustments so they run better. And safer !

He showed me each of the parts that were bad before replacing. He did an outstanding job and is very upfront.

He arrived exactly when he had said and after discussion of the type of opener I wanted, proceeded to work. I was installed very quickly and professionally, and tested. While installing the opener, he noted a crack in the door itself that put a strain on the opener and the frame. He installed a new metal brace where there wasn't one before that greatly reduced the noise of the door and I'm sure reduced the strain points. I've forgotten the price of this piece, but it was trivial. About a month ago, the door bracket broke away from the door. I called him back and he came right over and again for a very minimal price, installed a bracket that I'm sure cannot be broken. It is a commercial grade and quite heavy gauge steel. Each visit was professional, the price was right and the service great. I would recommend this company to anyone.
