They were punctual, courteous and professional. Calvin explained, in detail the cause and effect regarding the rodent problems. They came out on Father's Day, that said a lot. They provided value added service. The job has not been completed as there is much to be done. However, we are pleased thus far.

I sent a message to Calvin Shakir through the Angie?s list message service on March 21, 2016 for a general estimate on pest control and to get a possible wasp nest removed. I left my contact information and a few possible dates for someone to come out to take a look. Calvin responded that same day around 10 am and we arranged for him to come out the following day between 11 and 1 pm. I received a text reminder/appointment confirmation that evening for the next day?s appointment from Calvin?s mom, who helps with the business. For all follow-up services, I?ve received a text reminder or a phone call the night before from Calvin?s mom. March 22, 2016 on the day of the appointment, Calvin called to let me know he was on his way and he arrived in the agreed upon time frame. Calvin didn?t find a wasp nest, but during the inspection, he did find evidence of termites. Calvin explained what would be involved and gave me a quote for the treatment. He actually was able to fit me in and returned later that evening to do the termite treatment. Calvin?s team even swept the garage floor and Calvin provided a complimentary $150 pest control service in addition to the termite treatment. One amazing thing about this company that is not typical of any service company I have ever done business with: Each year, they put on a customer appreciation gala for all of their customers. It was on April 9th this year. Calvin rented a community arts center, provided a nice catered dinner and hired an excellent live band for the event. Calvin personally welcomed us and thanked us for coming, plus said goodbye to us when we left. Calvin?s wife came over to introduce herself and made sure we were having a good time. We had an amazing time and a friend of mine who owns personal training facilities in the Sandy Springs area wants to steal this genius business idea. Calvin and his team are warm, professional and very polite. And he knows his business. Calvin has been great with communication and answering any questions we have. With the recent roller coaster temperatures in Atlanta, we normally would have seen unwelcome guests (bugs) in the house coming in from the cold. Since Calvin started treatment a few weeks ago, we have seen no unwelcome little creatures. We have found our permanent pest control company and have already recommended Absolute Exterminating Services to friends as well. Calvin goes out of his way and above and beyond to make you feel appreciated. He makes you feel like family and not just a customer. We have never experienced this level of service before. Do not look any further for the best pest control company you will ever find.

Top notch service at every step. I missed the call that the tech was on the way. When I called back at first he said he was all the way on the other side of town (it was the end of the day). Rather than rescheduling he turned around and came and worked late. Two gentleman came and covered their shoes before coming in. They listened to my concerns. Did a thorough inspection. Sprayed and fumigated. Explained everything to me. Put out much better traps than Orkin. The owner came by the follow up and was friendly as well. At every step they were thorough and professional. Bugs are gone and I think the rodent is too.

I have used Calvin Shakir and his exterminating services for 16 years. He serviced my 1920 home in Grant Park and when I moved to Inman Park he now services my 1930 home. I have never had any pest issues since his services. In my home in Grant Park, it was pretty bad with water bugs, etc. After Calvin's serviced it, I never had any further problems. I asked Calvin to check my current home out before I moved in 15 years ago. He went in the crawlspace (actually crawled through the crawlspace) and checked for termites, etc. He serviced it thoroughly before I moved in, and now comes quarterly. He is very professional, kind, and feels like part of my family. And the best part is NO PESTS! I continue to recommend him to my neighbors, friends, and co-workers. Today I had the opportunity to meet with Calvin and Jeremy who performed the estimate for my grandmothers home. First I noted that they arrived in the time frame which had been given when I first contacted the company. Second the professionalism was obvious from the first handshake from Jeremy. Although the owner Calvin informed me that they were unable to take care of her specific pest problem due to the scope of it he provided tons of valuable information about how to resolve the issue and even left his business card in the event that I had questions in regards to finding another contractor. Not to mention he took the time to thoroughly explain my options as far as resolving the issue even if it meant I would have to do business elsewhere. Upon there departure I felt like a more informed consumer when it comes to pest control. Would refer them to others from this first impression and wish them continued success.

It went very well. Calvin arrived ready to do the job. Very polite and friendly. He did general exterminating services but also noticed an existing problem in my attic with rodents that we were completely unaware of. Calvin has tackled the issue and we haven't had any other problems since. I highly recommend Absolute Exterminating Services as they were very honest with me and explained every process they did and gave helpful suggestions. They were very professional, friendly and prompt each time I have had to have them come to my home.

Our dog brought employees from the backyard. The fleas and got into the house. I found this company on Angie's list and called them. What I really liked about the company is that they were very conservative and methodical in their approach. They did not ask me to put down the $700 until it was clear there was no alternative. They first set up plea traps and monitored that for a period of two weeks to make sure that there were fleas in the house. Once they determined that that was the case, they then sprayed the backyard and did the house. You have to be out of the house for a few hours once they spray. After that, they came back for a month to ensure that there were no fleas in the house. The people who service the job were mainly Jeremey and Jared. My dog really loved Jeremy. They were young men who were extremely polite, the owner is the same way. I also felt they knew what they were doing. The owner was very flexible and very attentive in addition to being knowledgeable. Would definitely use and recommend again, though hopefully won't have to, especially now since the dog is on flea medicine that work.

Calvin was great! He is very professional and makes sure you understand your options and what he is doing. He is not pushy and is really customer focused. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Calvin was extremely helpful. my daughter had very tiny pesky black flies that seemed to be multiplying. I called him and he sent someone over to take a sample so he would be sure to rid them the proper way. Calvin took into account that my daughter was 8 1/2 months pregnant. He did not want to spray anything that would harm her or her unborn child. He came and inspected the property and he could not find the source. He was willing to come do the service but warned me without the source being found, they may come back. My daughter couldn't live that way anymore so they came and took care of it .There was a small issue, he never discussed the fact that clothing and such should be covered or put away. My daughter was upset at the thought of having to re wash everything so calvin and his wife offered to come wash all of the clothing. At their expense. He was willing to go above and beyond. It didnt end up being necessary but it was appreciated. I was very happy with his quick response to text and his attention to detail.

I was immediately impressed with Calvin's professionalism. I felt extremely comfortable having him in our home. I've had bad experiences before with questionable characters that I've contacted to do work, but Calvin made me feel at ease. He was punctual, competent, and he cleaned up before he left. His price was fair, and he followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with his work. We've used him a few times over the last few years, and I look forward to working with him in the future, I highly recommend him!!

Fantastic... as usual!!! Absolute Exterminating has been a member of our family for about 4 years now. It all started with the sound of fluttering in my walls... ;-) Calvin and his Absolute Exterminating services have truly satisfied ALL of our extermination needs over the years. After the very first call... he came out to investigate and address what I thought were termites in my wall, but ended up only being swarmers... thank goodness. Over the years Absolute Exterminating Services has kept my home safe from destruction at the hand bugs and critters. It brings us such joy to see an occasional insect upside down, frozen in death in the foyer...lol! The tech that came to my house is courteous and professional. He asked about any concerns that I had, and informed me of what he would be doing. He also provided tips on extra steps that I could take to limit entry of pests into my home. He also scheduled my follow-up appointment before he left.

Great job no mosquitoes for our party that afternoon and weeks thereafter. Service was performed on time and workers are very professional. I have referred absolute too many friends and neighbors.

The owner Calvin was very nice. We have not seen a termite in our yard since the treatment. Calvin was personable and he educated us on in home maintenance . We always enjoy his visits every 3 months. He provides very efficient service with a smile. He processes a giant personality this is personified and displayed in the quality of his work.

This pest control service provider came out and trapped and removed squirrels nesting inside my attic. After removing them, he performed an exclusion service on my property which sealed up all of the entry points and prevented the squirrels from entering the attic again. This was a few year ago. I have not had any issues since. I've referred numerous friends to this service, which all have been extremely happy with the service, and said he has great rates. This provider also pays for referrals. If there were any issues after his treatment, he would come out that same day or the next to address the issue! They have an annual customer appreciation function, which is really great. And I have enjoyed the parties for years. There's nothing like a company that makes yours needs feel like it matters. He arrived on time, was quick to explain exactly what he was looking for (trails in the insulation, droppings, noise), and explained how it looked clear after examining the attic. He and his assistant both made sure to wear inside booties, which is always a nice touch. Not much else to say, from my end it ended up being the best result, I did not have an infestation.

I set up with them to have them come out every three months to treat my home for insects and bugs. Every issue i have had with bugs have been resolved. I have also used them in the past for termites as well.

After the exclusion service 2 roof rats still got into the attic. Absolute Exterminating came back a couple times and said that they cannot find how they are getting in. The last time Absolute Exterminating came back they could not find an entry point. The owner said that he would call a colleague and have him come out and try to find entry points. His colleague found and sealed an entry point. The entry point showed gnaw marks so it was definitely an entry point into the attic. He found another possible entry point and sealed it also. He screwed in solid metal at these points. He also checked for other entry points but found none. Update 9/15/2015: So far all traps have been empty. I appreciate that the owner of Absolute Exterminating addressed the issue and stands behind his word.

We have an unfinished space connected to the attic where there were several wasps nests. The wasps had been escaping into the house! Calvin and his team came out and removed all the nests and gave recommendations on closing the points of entry. (Price for that was too high so we'll see). But for what he did, price was on point and I would hire him again.

Very well. Calvin explained the process they were going to do. He explained the chemicals that were to be used and how much they were and what they did. What we really appreciated was that Calvin proposed two solutions to our issue: fumigate and then make sure the crawl space is sealed or open up the floor and try and locate the dead rat and remove it. The second be a more time consuming and expensive solution. Calvin felt that the first option would be suitable as the body was likely all decomposed and fumigating would ensure that all insects and bugs would be killed. We went for this option and they performed it the following evening. The whole process was professional, and fast. We will continue to use this company for all our regular bug services.

I'm totally satisfied with the services that I receive from Absolute Exterminating Services monthly. I have a school and they treat both of my buildings to ensure that we do not have roaches, ants on the playground and no rats. It is great to not have to worry about any of the aforementioned becasue I have a very hectic schedule and not having to worry about this is great. This visit, like all of his visits, went extremely well. Several years ago, we got squirrels in our attic and one actually got in the house. Calvin came to our rescue. My husband and I called several pest control companies but most of them did not provide that service. We found one company that supposedly specialized in that service. We tried them but they were ineffective and way too expensive. Finally, we found Calvin and he got rid of the critters in the attic. Not only was he able to rid the attic of the squirrels, with no more than an hour’s notice, Calvin came out to the house and caught the squirrel that had gotten in the house. We liked and admired Calvin from the beginning but after catching the squirrel in the house, he became our HERO! He has been handling any pest problems that we’ve had ever since. He is a consummate professional. Along with doing a thorough job of clearing the house of pests, he provided advice on what we needed to do to keep them from getting in again. He is extremely knowledgeable about his trade without overselling his services. So, we also asked Calvin to do the installation/repairs to prevent the squirrels from getting in again. He is absolutely our pest control professional. Calvin is ALWAYS responsive, prompt, friendly, and courteous. Moreover, he has a very caring and giving nature. He mentors young people and teaches them the value of an honest day’s work. He also employs some of these teenagers, pays them for their assistance, and then teaches them the importance of setting up a budget and saving. We admire and trust Calvin so much that he's like a member of the family! He really is quite a fine young man!
