Description of Work: Restored finish on our old hickory dining table. Everything done on schedule as promised. Floyd Fowler retained the original dark color we wanted with a beautiful new finish. Also tightened and re-glued loose joints. Very professional and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

 + -1 moreFloyd came out and did all of the measurements and built some templates out of scrap wood with which to base the doors sizes on, that way they would not need to be taken in or redone. He then built the doors, painted them, and came back to install them, and they fit perfectly! The whole experience was excellent. Not only is Floyd a great woodworker, but he's also an extremely nice guy and very easy to work with. I look forward to Floyd working on future projects for our house.
Description of Work: I had some open cubby holes with shelves in my bedroom that were built by the previous owner. I thought that they would look much better with some custom doors on them, that could also keep dust/dirt out.

Countered and reached compromise on money I send advance of about $500. Then once he was ready with preperatory work and what he could do offsite he reached out to make appointment Then over 4 days he installed bookcase, install glass doors and finished up all the details to make it blend in
Description of Work: Made build in bookcase (5 sections + glass doors) in about 3 weeks from start to finish.

Floyd worked with me customizing and installing an old wood bookshelf and also built and installed a custom 9' X 14" oak threshold between the den and the kitchen. Superb workmanship and beautiful wood. Floyd showed me pictures of the other work he has done (custom chairs and tables, refinishing old furniture, etc). The man doesn't charge enough for the kind of high-end work he does.
