Floyd built a lovely and functional set of drawers under a staircase in my daughter’s room, as well as refitted her closet. He was great to work with. Did some exploration to determine best spot to put the drawers, and great attention to detail thoughout.

Wanted custom cabinets to match the cabinets that were already in the house. After providing a rough drawing of what we wanted, discussed the design with Floyd. He was able to build exactly what we wanted. They look great and we are very pleased with the final product.

Floyd worked with my husband’s design and gave his input to create the perfect cabinet pantry. The cabinet also holds our new microwave which really updated our kitchen. All of the work was hand done to use all of the available space. The cabinet has made my new kitchen efficient, providing the extra storage that was needed. Floyd worked very hard to fit the cabinet and the finished product is beautiful.

We are very happy with our finished built ins. It is beautiful and built very well. We live in a hundred year old house with very unlevel floors and walls and you would never know it looking at our cabinets. Every door and shelf is lined up perfectly. The desk top is natural walnut and Floyd's love of wood shines through in the finished top. It is very easy to work with Floyd. We talked through the design and shared images of cabinets that we liked and Floyd quickly picked up all the details of our style and went from there. We will definitely be hiring Woodchuck Wood Working of Atlanta again for future projects.

Floyd is AMAZING at his craft! He built us a custom dining bench for our breakfast nook area and it looks as if the bench was built when the home was built - every detail matches perfectly to its surroundings from the molding to the color. He also built out office doors for an open space we had - the work is of amazing quality and again, looks as if it had always been there. He is very punctual, communicative and responsive. I would absolutely recommend him and will use him for any other custom carpentry or woodwork in the future!!!

I spoke to several companies before I hired Floyd. Had a good conversation with him from the beginning. His price was a little higher than what I wanted to spend but I had a good feeling about hiring him after looking at the pictures on his web site. We talked the project through on the phone. He offered helpful suggestions. He then came to our home, measured the area and we closed the deal. Work was done on time. He called me along the way to give me much appreciated progress reports. He arrived on time on installation day and I was thrilled with the finished project. It far exceeded my expectations!! He is a true craftsman and I can't want to do another project with him!! For each, Floyd came out to our house to discuss the project, produced detailed sketches of each piece, and provided quotes on cost and timeline that were accurate and reliable. This is custom handmade carpentry the way it should be done.

Exceptionally well! I have to say I am loving my new French doors for my new home office and cannot say enough good things about Floyd and David. They were very professional and made recommendations to put in Tandem windows at the top of the opening to give a very unique architectural look to my home office. I would definitely hire Floyd and David to do additional custom work for me. My new French doors and home office is absolutely beautiful and my clients love it also! I showed Floyd Fowler a photo of a similar desk and he built and designed the desk to meet my particular needs. I am extremely please with how it turned out

I spoke with Floyd Fowler, and also a little bit with David Speer. They inspected my item and told me that they would be able to do the repair for $75 and I left my ottoman with them to get it fixed. It turned out fabulous. When I picked up the ottoman, Floyd made sure that I was pleased before I left. They did such a great job that I couldn't tell the repaired leg. They were kind and professional and repaired it in a timely manner. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

From the beginning, Woodchuck was very good at communicating with me. They are definitely busy and have a lot of projects going, but were able to work me into their schedule. They set up a meeting at my house where they looked over what I had envisioned and they were able to make great suggestions and take measurements to ensure everything would fit within the room. Then when they returned to do the work, Woodchuck was very professional and were able to finish the project over a two day period, cleaning up after themselves. The final product was a sight to behold and exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend them!

Great! Floyd and David were excellent to work with. Both were very professional, offered suggestions, reached out to is to get clarity when needed and were great communicators. We are so pleased with the finished product and would hire them again as well as recommend them to others.

I'm in love again with my table, you would never know it had been so severely damaged by the movers. You can't even tell where a new trestle bar had to be made, the finish is matched beautifully with the original coloring. The legs and backing our stronger now then when I purchased the table. I am so pleased, they were honest with their explanations of what they could do; they delivered exactly what they said they would do, they explained in detail the work required and had the table ready in a timely fashion. I have a couple of other pieces that I would like refinished, will definitely give it to them to do. They kept to the estimate they made; it was well worth the expense.
