They were very friendly and very fast. Also, they were very conscientious about my furniture and boxes and nothing was damaged. It is always a little frightening to move into a new build with white walls everywhere and lots of stairs - but again, the guys were very careful and not a scratch on anything. I will use them again when I move my parents.

The team took care of our new home and floors and of course our belongings. They worked hard!

I got charged for three men by the hour. They just loaded it, brought it back and unwrapped.

They were prompt, they took acre of the furniture, they spent a great deal of time appropriately wrapping the furniture up in bubble wrap and he could protect it because we put it into storage in a climate controlled unit. They were good people to work with, did what they said they were going to do. I would use them again.

It was fine! It was an all day deal. They were accommodating with changing the schedule and they did the job.

They did a good job, nothing was broken. Everything was put where we asked them to put it.

Everything went very smooth...I was honestly waiting for something to go wrong( like with prior movers) but everything went well. Crew was nice...one guy was even singing oldies.

Exceptional! 6 person team showed up right on time with a few team members showing up 15 minutes early. They moved very quickly and worked well as a team. Nothing was damaged during the move and they were professional and polite. The estimate was easy and they came in under budget.

It went well. A few items were broken. We could not determine if they were from this move or the original move from Wisconsin or the move from the Georgia storage unit. But it was frustrating nonetheless.

First of all they answered the phone which was more than 2 other companies did that I had called! Mr. Crawford was very kind and helpful. His guys arrived on time even after I changed the starting location because I had 2 places I needed things moved from. The men were very nice and worked very well together. Their chit chat while working made a light hearted atmosphere. They wrapped everything very well. Nothing was damaged at all. I would definitely recommend Tate the Great and would hire them again!

The guys were well organized and ready to work. They brought their own supplies needed for a move. Great attitude and fun to be around while getting the job done.

These guys were great! Totally live up to their name. The day of the move we received a phone call letting us know that they would be there at 8:00 a.m. and they arrived right on time. Dexter, Eddie and Will (Blue Team!) were just as nice and friendly as could be and took great care with all of our furniture. They walked us through how they operate and managed our expectations. So there were no surprises at the end of the move. We will definitely be using Tate the Great Movers again.

They were great! They were very prompt and got going right away loading up the truck and packing everything carefully using padding blankets and clear wrap. The drive to the home location was less than 5 miles. They unloaded everything as instructed and did a great job. The team was professional but very friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future!

Excellent service! Would highly recommend them. They were here at 8 15 am, on time and were friendly and courteous throughout the process. Their leader, Dexter, was very professional and made sure we were kept up to speed with what was going on. They worked non stop, apart from a lunch break (< 30minutes). We also made 2 stops at separate storage units as well. No additional charges for stops either. They were done by approx. 2 pm just as the rain started (good timing!). Total cost about $1130 dollars. I tipped them and would happily use them again if needed.

Tate the Great Moving Company arrived promptly on time. We used the Blue Team. They were friendly and introduced themselves. They were professional and efficient wasting no time. They carefully wrapped all furniture with cellophane and moving blankets. Everything arrived intact and without any dents or mishaps. We had several boxes along with large pieces of furniture. It took them 6 ½ hrs to complete including a ½ hr lunch break which was deducted from the final bill. I was very impressed and would highly recommend their company.

Went very smoothly. Even with the heavier and bulkier items like a large armoire and an upright piano. Nice to have a hydraulic lift on the end of their truck. There were a few things we couldn't get into the truck, but planning to take them later with a rental truck. One of the team was also helped us switch out a washer & dryer for us, alleviating the need to call out a tradesman later. All in all, the Blue Team was very skilled, asked a few questions where needed and otherwise ran with it. They also displayed a strong positive attitude and really seemed to be in their element. Found these guys on Angie's List and got quotes from 2 providers. First one really seemed to overestimate our needs, so we decided to give Tate a try. Very satisfied. PS We had most of our things in boxes when the movers arrived, leaving them to pack/wrap/handle the furniture and larger pieces from scratch.

They were friendly, introduced themselves and each person in the crew made sure that they knew what was going first and what last, even though they coordinated with a team leader. We had almost no small boxes to move, only large pieces of furniture and they used all 6 h of non-stop work to accomplish this. I was very impressed and would recommend their company. I should mention that I underestimated the amount of work it takes to move. If we had had any small boxes to move as well, a 4 person crew for at least 8h would be necessary.

We had 4 movers for 8 hours, and they showed up exactly on time (and had called me beforehand to let me know they were on their way). They did an awesome job, didn't even break for lunch and were extremely polite and helpful. I've used a lot of movers, but they made it significantly less stressful. I would 100% use them again and recommend them highly!

The Tate The Great Blue Team: on time, very attentive, great to work with and have in our home, there at 8 done by 5, extremely helpful and communicative. I can't think of any reason not to recommend them to anyone and would only use them in the future.

Thomas and his helper were there on time and ready to move the piano. They were very careful with the piano and the doorways, etc when moving. They were very careful in unloading the piano, not backing truck over soft area and not letting piano go into the pool (lol). They were professional but very friendly. I will certainly recommend them to friends and family for moving anything. And I would use them again. Thank you for being so careful with my old treasure.

Excellent overall! Arrived and time and finished within the allotted 10 hrs. Work crew was organized and the men were polite and professional. The work was done by the BLUE TEAM! We didn't have any problems at all. I would highly recommend to anyone planning a move.

Short version: They are unequivocally the best movers we?ve ever used. Professional, punctual, efficient, truly expert at what they do. All our belongings were handled carefully, wrapped with protective blankets, and securely placed in the truck; everything arrived in the same condition it was in before the move. Not a single ding, chip, or misstep anywhere along the line. Hire them; you will not regret it! Long version: My wife and I are senior citizen retirees who relocated from Ohio to Newnan a year and a half ago, and wanted to move from one apartment complex to another one this past February. We did the usual Google searching for local movers in the Newnan area, but could find only 2-3 companies, none of which had extensive (or particularly good) reviews. So, we decided to renew our Angie?s List membership, in hopes of finding a more qualified moving company that way. When we came across Tate the Great in Angie?s List, we were impressed with their large number of highly favorable reviews, and the fact that they are a Better Business Bureau accredited company (some companies claim to be BBB accredited but are in fact NOT; Tate the Great really IS, and furthermore has an A+ rating with the Metro Atlanta BBB). We contacted Tate the Great?s office, and discussed the particulars of our move with their manager (a very professional and courteous gentleman). We were favorably impressed and after due deliberation, decided to go with their Angie?s List special: $800 for a truck and three man crew for six (6) hours. (To put things into perspective, and hopefully help other Angie?s List readers compare our move to their upcoming moves to see if our ?deal? would work for them: we went from a first floor two-bedroom walk-in apartment with easy access to the moving truck, to another first floor apartment, also with easy truck access, about 10-15 minutes away. Items moved included a large overstuffed couch, two recliner chairs, two end tables, a glass top sofa table, two small benches, an occasional chair, two large six-foot bookcases, a smaller bookcase, two glass front curio cabinets, a round dining room table and four heavy wooden chairs, a boxed microwave oven, two queen size beds, four night stands , two large dressers and two chests of drawers, two small chests, a 46? flat screen TV and stand, a boxed computer, a computer desk and office chair, eight large plastic storage bins of holiday decorations, a fold up camping table, and approximately 65 boxes of ?stuff? that we had packed and sealed ourselves. We did not have any patio furniture, mowers, yard tools, or kitchen / laundry room appliances.) The crew was scheduled to arrive by 10:00 AM February 26th; they called at 9:15 that morning to inform us that they were on the way. At 9:56 the driver was knocking on our door, as the other two movers were pulling into the parking lot behind him. He did a swift but thorough inventory of the items to be moved, and they then got down to work. From the very start, it was obvious that the crew knew what they were doing, and got along very well with one another. They worked efficiently and harmoniously, with no wasted motion. Everything was handled with great care and wrapped carefully (including a large framed art print and 46? TV); items were precisely placed in the truck to ensure nothing came loose in transit. They kept us apprised us of what they were doing, and answered any questions we had in a pleasant and professional manner. Before three hours were up, we were heading over to the new apartment. When we arrived at our new residence, things went just as smoothly. The men unloaded and arranged the furniture per our preferences, and put the storage bins and moving boxes where we wanted them. There was absolutely NO damage done whatsoever to our possessions, or the apartment walls / floors, during the entire process. Furthermore, since the crew was ahead of schedule by half an hour or so when they were finishing up, they on their own volition asked if we?d like for them to repair the damage done to a piece of furniture by a previous moving company we?d used, by reattaching a broken foot to one of the dressers. (We?d had the dresser jury-rig propped up on the foot for the past 18 months or so; I had made them aware of it when they did the inventory). I readily agreed, since the repair required one man to tip the dresser on its side and another to use the power drill to reattach the foot; this is not something my wife and I could have done on our own. They fixed it, and the dresser is now back to the way it should be. To net things out: Tate the Great did a superb job for us, and we are totally satisfied with the work performed. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing movers in the Atlanta area. Note: I realize this review is somewhat lengthy, but I did want to make sure I touched on all the good things Tate the Great did for us. We have moved several times locally in different cities, and made one long distance move, so we?re not totally naive when it comes to hiring movers. Tate is head and shoulders above any company we have ever used.
