Never again. Damaged my expensive Impressions vanity among several other pieces of furniture, put a huge hole in the grass, charged me for insurance which covered none of the damages, and sent me a goodwill release of liability letter. When I complained, they claimed they would pick up and repair 2 of the 5 items months later but ghosted me and never responded to schedule the repair. Horrible experience definitely wouldn't recommend any trust this company with their belongings.

If you want reliable service and value for the money, do not use Tate The Great. They broke and 65" tv and only after serious complaining and a 30 minute call to the owner did they purchase for me a much less quality replacement instead of the same tv I had. They dropped off totes and boxes wherever they felt instead of the room I had clearly marked the items for. They lost the remotes to my king size adjustable bed even after we asking them to tape the remotes to the power cords so they wouldn't be lost. We do you think they replaced them? No they did not and that $140 a piece more I have to spend to get new ones. lastly they did not bring a large enough truck for my belongings and I had to rent a storage unit and move the rest myself. Customer service means very little to them in my experience. Do not use them!

The entire moving process was great. They were very professional and detailed. I would definitely use them in the future.

The two movers showed up on time and called when they were on their way. They were professional and a pleasure to work with. It was raining and they were careful to wrap everything. They went the extra mile and it is greatly appreciated. I am so pleased with their work!

Tate the Great and his team were awesome! They were courtesy, professional, quick, knowledgeable, and provided me with a level of moving services I had never experienced before from beginning to end. The communication was great throughout the process. I would definitely use them again.

When I booked our move, during the Covid-19 crisis,I was assured that the movers would take proper safety precautions including masks, gloves, frequent disinfection, and keeping their distance from us. They did none of these things, not even wearing masks. Also, though I didn't realize until after they'd left (with good tips, no less), they were sloppy with our furniture that required breakdown. We have several bookshelves, which they took apart and reassembled, but the shelves weren't assembled properly (the support pegs hanging out of their peg-holes), and several pegs were missing. I had to go back through and essentially reassemble the shelves myself. Also, our nice king-sized bed was reassembled loosely and part of it collapsed under our weight that night. The next day, while I was at our previous address doing final cleanup, I found a handful of bolting hardware from the bed just lying on the carpet in our old bedroom. I had to rebuild the bed properly myself, and it's now not as structurally sound as it used to be, making a lot of noise when we shift our weight. On top of that, they left several very noticeable scratches on the nice hardwood floors that I'm sure our landlord will hold us accountable for. The guys SEEMED to do an efficient job, and were friendly, but the sloppiness we discovered afterwards really made us regret hiring this company.

Astonished by there professionalism! Showed up early and got me moved in less than 5 hours for a 4 bedroom home! Thank you for a hassle free process! Love these Guys!

I’m not on site. I contacted and hired them to move my elderly grandparents across the city, and Tate responded quickly and according to my grandparents were quick and efficient. I have yet to hear of any damages- so far, an excellent experience. I will update if anything changes.

I contacted several moving companies for estimate on my local move in the Gainesville, Georgia area.Tate the Great was immediately responsive and provided detailed, quality information about what i should do to obtain an accurate estimate.I dealt with Thomas Crawford, the owner, who was very coureous, candid and responsive to every question or request i made. I uploaded and emailed about 20 photos of the larger items to be moved and Mr.Crawford responded promptly with feedback about my move estimate. Subsequently i decided to use Tate the Great to move my furniture from 5 movers i had initially solicited bids from. He wasnt the lowest estimate of the 5 but i felt his was the most accurate based on the detailed exchanges we had during the estimation process. I gave him a $100 deposit (his company was the only mover that required an estimate) and i was happy to pay it because it made me feel confident that they would show up to move me on the date i needed. A couple of hours after Mr.Crawford and i had firmed up our deal, i learned about a local mover in my neighborhood who was highly recommended and used for the move of several of the residents in the retirement community where we live. I contacted them based on those recommendations and their estimate was right in line with Tate the Great's(I didnt share Tate's numbers with the other company). The difference was that due to Tate's distance from Gainesville, their estimate was $190 higher than my local company, based on a Trip Charge that i wouldnt have to pay the other company. Based on the high recommendations of my neighbors, and the other mover's availability, i hired them to move me and recontacted Mr.Crawford of Tate the Great to notify him of my cancellation. At that time i requested a refund of my deposit....and 2 days later i received a FULL REFUND. In summary, i cant say enough good things about Tate the Great and especially Thomas Crawford, the owner based on my total experience with them.I have no doubt they would have performed flawlessly had i actually used them for my move. I will definitely keep them on my short list if i ever have to move again.

I purchased a deal for a 3 hour block of time with 3 movers. They came and wrapped up everything that was getting moved before loading it onto the truck. They were prompt and efficient and accomplished the whole move in the set amount of time. I'm a single woman and the one downside is that when I came down the hall into bedroom it sounded as if two of the guys were joking around about getting to try out the bed later on. I just heard snippets, so didn't want to unfairly accuse anyone, but it wasn't ideal. It made me very thankful for the presence of the 3rd person who was the crew manager.

From beginning to end, TTG was professional and courteous. Mr. Crawford was the first to reply to my moving inquiries and saw us through until the end. The movers were courteous and went above and beyond. The rate was very reasonable. I have already recommended them to my dad for his move in the future and look forward to using TTG Moving Company for our next move. Thank you for making a stressful situation not so stressful!!

I requested a quote from Tate The Great Moving Company to move to a new home. They provided a quote based on my description of the job. Their quote sounded reasonable, but when I asked if they provided packers, this was a service they did not provide. Based on this, I decided to go with another company. UPDATE: I wanted to clarify that I misunderstood their response on not including packing in their quote. The quote did not include packing, but they do provide packing services.

Not only did the Tate movers arrive on time, they were so friendly and paid special care when moving my items. i must confess, the conditions in my new place were not ideal (it wasn’t finished yet) and the guys worked around it. Hands down, these are the best movers in Atlanta. Fair pricing and friendly service.

Mr. Crawford's team handled our move professionally and without incident - which is the name of the game. Whether it's a small move or a large move, there's none better. I also received a military discount without question.

I recently worked with Tate the Great for a move from a condo to a house. The guys were fantastic. Very professional, friendly, and good at their jobs. They exceeded my expectations and all for a very competitive price. I will use Tate the Great for all of my future moves and I have already recommended them to a friend.

It was just so-so. There is definitely room for improvement. They have no plan for homes with new carpeting (which we had just installed). They also drilled completely through my grandsons bedroom mirror and left without saying a word (Tate the Great did send out a repairman a few days later). If you have a refrigerator with French doors you should tell them up front so that the right crew is sent out. Our refrigerator sat in the living room for 3 or 4 days until another member of the crew was able to come out. Overall it was not that GREAT!

The Team of 5 showed up on time with 2 trucks. It was a long day (around 12 hrs) including drive time. The team worked professionally and steady. There was some light damage to a couple items but, nothing usual with a move. Thomas was very responsive to make things right on agreeable terms to both parties. Overall a good experience.

The team was excellent. Eddie was knowledgeable and professional. His team was able to move us during unfavorably conditions, i.e., snow and ice, with an efficiency and attention to detail of any major moving company. We've moved several times using international movers such Paul Arpin and Tate's team was just as good, and detail oriented with all of our items. Simply put Tate was GREAT!

Everything went smooth. I’ve heard horror stories of movers and we had the complete opposite experience. Tate the Great came highly recommend and I would recommend Reggie and his crew to anyone moving.
