The existing door had becoming weak over time and began to buckle. The technician, Trey, came out and removed the old door and replaced with a new door. The service was exceptional. The installation was done extremely fast and well. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for garage door repair or installation. Also, the customer service and management was very courteous when asked questions about various aspects of the installation and scheduling.

Quotations were provided by two vendors early January after sales reps from each company visited the house, examined the original installation and noted my interests in design, material, and insulation capability. Each sales rep was very professional and helpful. I chose Metro because that company's rep (Gary) was able to explain why the most-worn door didn't close properly and noticed that LHR (low headroom) tracks were necessary for one of the doors. I chose to have the LHR hardware installed for both doors. Later, when submitting his bid, Gary included replacement of the defective frame structure at no additional cost. The installers arrived on time in the afternoon of February 6, finished the job of replacing two doors, replaced damaged frame materials, connected the automatic garage door openers, tested the doors, and cleaned up the installation site. Price included disposal of the old garage doors and other construction materials. After a few weeks I can see that the installers provided excellent installation service because both doors continue to work flawlessly.

The door still had to be special ordered due to the length. It only took 1 week for the door to come in and for Metro doors to come and replace everything. Took about 2 hours, and everything has worked perfectly since. Very friendly representative on the phone and the installer was very nice too. Would highly recommend Metro to anyone!

There was a problem with the way one of the doors fit. They promptly ordered a replacement and came back in a few weeks to install it. We used them because one of our neighbors recommend them. We have since referred them to a number of our friends needing garage door replacements.

Everyone I delt with and those I have worked with in the past from this company have been great to deal with. They seem to have a knack for hiring and keeping quality people. I live alone in a very rural area and have never felt uncomfortable with any of the service techs. They have all been exceptionally competent and very nice.

Called Metro Garage from a Yellow Pages advertisement under fireplace repair. The ad contained a $20 off service call coupon. Chuck came out the next morning after I called. The pilot light was started and working within 30 minutes of his arrival. He wrote down what I will need to do for the start up next winter. Accepted the coupon and was on his way out. I noticed he worked for a garage company, and I was also having problems with my garage door not shutting down from the remote. He took time to show me what was wrong and how I could fix it. It worked. Great service. Professional and on time.

I called them on 9/9 and scheduled an appointment for today. The tech was on time, friendly, and professional. After seeing what the opener was doing, he reprogrammed the opener to stop at the correct points as it opened and closed. He had it working correctly in about 15 minutes or less. Since they had installed the opener in August 2012, they covered the service call under their one year labor warranty, so it cost me nothing. The tech also took the time to lubricate the rails on both of my garage doors while he was here. I was very impressed with the entire experience. I have used Metro for a few years, and I will continue to do so when I get service like this. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had been told by another company that the gear on one of my openers was broken. When they were not responsive in providing quotes, etc. I called Metro. I spoke to Jerri, and since I had used them before, she already had info on the size of my garage doors, etc. She was able to quickly give me quotes over the phone on repairing the old opener or replacing it. Since it was going to cost around $130 to replace the gear in the old unit or $395 to install the new Genie unit, I decided to go ahead and replace both of my openers. I understand that about $70 of the $395 quote was for the extra long rail required due to the size of my doors. I called back the next day and spoke to another lady to schedule the installation. We initially scheduled it for the morning of 8/1, although they later had to reschedule for the afternoon, which was not a problem. Gavin arrived to perform the work, and I found him to be very friendly and profiessional. He installed the openers, showed us how to use the remotes, programmed the Homelink openers on both cars, etc. When he was done, the new openers were working perfectly, and I was pleased to see that they are much quieter than the old units. I will definitely use Metro again. They were able to quickly provide me with a quote at a reasonable price. They kept me informed of any scheduling issues in the days leading up to the installation, and the installation went very smoothly. I have absolutely no complaints about the entire process.

They offered to come out and immediately to help me, but I declined. They set the appointment and arrived onetime. He fixed the garage door, oiled it, and check the remotes to make sure they were in good working order. He was efficient, professional, and very pleasant.

I was very pleased with Metro's service! The technician appeared very knowledgeable and was able to identify the problems with our door. He also adjusted the door so that it would kick up in the event my small child was caught under the door. The door has worked flawlessly since the repair.
