Description of Work: I called them because one of the garage doors on our new house stopped closing all the way. They weren't able to get someone out for a few days, but the technician who came was punctual (actually a little early) and helpful. He advised me that the door would need to be replaced sometime soon, but he was able to do a repair that would make it last a little while longer. He also shared several tips for routine garage door care and maintenance. Very helpful.

Description of Work: When I bought a new automatic garage door opener at Home Depot in Peachtree City to replace my 22-year-old unit that had stopped working, I found I could also have it installed by paying $97 extra, which I thought was a good price and extremely convenient. John, from Metro Garage Door, is the person who showed up to install it a couple of days later after the appointment had been confirmed on the phone. He was pleasant, obviously knew what he was doing from long experience, explained how to operate various features of the product, and left me feeling pleased with the whole experience.

Description of Work: replaces 12 yr old garage door motor/lift that stopped working. Needed to do rewiring in attic and modify tracks/guides for the existing door. Prior to the actual replacement trip to the house, Metro came out to assess the situation and give estimate.....the trip out for the estimmate was a "house call" and cost $40. Since we bought the new openner, the $40 charge was not included in the final bill.
