Description of Work: They came out, looked at our home(all brick home) and agreed to the painting job (windows, shutters and gutters) after complaining Angie's List had advertised them as out door painters, they were only indoor painters, but they would do the job.It took another 6 weeks to get a time scheduled because they were so backed up and we needed someone there while the work was done. After two days of painting (40 hours/two guys)and the job only HALF done, they informed us that we would need to pay more money to get the job completed and they had no idea when or if they could come back. This was very upsetting to myself and especially my wife. We have since had another company complete the job and will NEVER use these painters again and will never refer them to anyone we know. You should make absolutely sure the contractors do the work advertised and the areas advertised. They also complained about how far they had to drive. Yet again, Angie's List had advertised them in a area they didn't work.

Description of Work: Maurice & his helper painted all the difficult (to reach) exterior parts of our house. They did a better job than I expected by scrapping & sanding where needed. He communicated very well and always had a smile. I highly recommend MAKE-OVER HOME IMPROVEMENT.

Description of Work: Painted trim around outside of house- painted ceilings & walls for kitchen, living room-dining room combo, stairway walls, hall upstairs

Description of Work: Did paint work both inside and out, although it was only supposed to be inside, but according to Maurice, Angie's List got the add wrong. Also went out of his way to take care of some little things while he was up on the ladder, like replacing some outside floodlights

Description of Work: I had my whole home interior painted (several rooms just touched up) to prepare to rent the house. Service was prompt, friendly and thorough. Had some light repairs to molding, walls, shelving requied during painting - all were done no hassle, no extra charge. Was pleased enough with the experience and outcome to hire them again to do exterior (garage) work.

Description of Work: Maurice and his helper did an excellent job for us! They painted ceilings, walls & trim of large living room with vaulted ceiling and long hallway. They went the extra mile to complete the job on time. We will definitely be calling them again for other projects around our home!

Description of Work: I had arranged an appointment, and about an 30 minutes before he was to arrive, he had a third party call me. The excuse was lame, and I was not in the mindset to consider other contact with this provider. His demeanor was not professional enough either.

Description of Work: Maurice does everything! He installed base and shoe molding. He repaired all my interior doors. He stabilized loose railings on my stairway and staircase. He repaired all my cracked walls, and painted perfectly to match original colors. Maurice pressure washed driveway and deck. He cleaned my gutters. He did electrical and plumbing work around the house. Maurice re-surfaced my entire garage floor with epoxy finish. Nothing he could not do!

Description of Work: Before painting the 3 rooms, Maurice repaired all drywall cracks. He also painted all floor trim around my whole house.

Description of Work: Maurice sanded, calked, touched up, and re-painted exterior of my house, which was in bad shape.
