A tenant called me about a serious leak. I called Foster Plumbing about 10:00 a.m and was told to expect a call back to schedule the work the same day. I got the call at work, arranged a time, and the work was completed as promised on the same day. The work was very professional, and I paid by credit card over the telephone. I promptly received the receipt in the mail a couple days later. Excellent service!

It was an emergency. They came out right away. When they came back to replace it they were very thorough and very clean. I felt the price was fair. I was leaving for vacation on a Sunday and they came right out to shut the water off.

I called and made an appointment for them to come out. Based on my schedule, I made the appointment a few days out due to my scheduling conflicts, but they could have been here the next morning if it had worked for me. They found a drain pipe that was sagging, allowing water to pool in the pipe and block the vent. They fixed that and tested the drains by running as much water through them as possible before they left, and everything was flowing fine. They explained that this repair might not fix all the problems I was having, but so far I have had no further problems. They were extremely punctual and professional, taking the time to explain everything to me, and they didn't try to talk me into any additional repairs. They even recommended that I call a septic company if I had any further problems, because they felt that all the drains in the house were in good shape. I was very impressed, and I will definitely call them for any plumbing problems in the future.

2013 Update: When we discovered a sudden increase in our water bills, we suspected a leak. We found it near the meter, so we call our local Water-Sewer Authority, who sent out a nice gentleman who said the problem was on our side of the meter so it was up to us to repair it. Foster Plumbing was out first thing. But they couldn't turn the water off because the "curb valve" on the WSA side of the meter was broken. Foster Plumbing wasted no time calling the WSA for us, and told us what was going on. WSA came back out and fixed their part of the job. Immediately, Foster Plumbing's hard worker Tommy was back out again, and he made the repair carefully and efficiently. Owner Scott Foster juggled other jobs to take care of this expensive leak for us a.s.a.p., and we greatly appreciate him and his team! There are not many reports on Angie's List for companies west of Atlanta. If you live in Douglas County (or anywhere around the metro area), and need an honest, reliable plumber, consider Foster Plumbing. A team did the work, so it was fast, the price was based upon one service call and the actual time incurred. Same experience with the repair to a shower drain, which was leaking into our living room. They were careful with our furniture, and cleaned up spotlessly. Having a team do the work really speeds things up when the area to be accessed is between two levels.
