Pam The Plumber

I appreciated Pam's friendliness and knowledge of plumbing. She made some very good assessments, over the phone, about what needed to be done. Although she did not do the work, she figured out exactly what needed to be done.

Pam herself came along on this emergency call. They solved the problem handily (it was a simple one). But she also looked at why I was having these issues with the house I bought in October and made some affordable recommendations. I highly recommend her company. They have been here on two occasions and both times were courteous, timely and professional. The service is quite affordable. They are my go-to plumbers.

She was okay. She was good. There is nothing that really stood out. She did the work on time, professionally and did a good job. She charged me what she said she was going to charge me.

It went well. She and Maxby (not so sure of name...he was very nice) had to lift the toilet and replace the wax seal that's underneath. I knew there was a small leak and I tried to fix it by caulking around the base. The caulk held the water back for a few months and then we started seeing the leak return. We were afraid the sub-floor would rot because of the water. I went to Angie's List and after reading the reviews for Pam The Plumber, I knew we found our plumber. We had some communication difficulties, but we sorted it out. Like true professionals, they made the service call outside of their normal hours. They had all of the parts needed for the replacement. They replaced the seal, grouted the tiles around the toilet and cleaned up before they left. The job took about two hours We thought they did a great job and defiantly would hire Pam The Plumber again. Pam has a good sense of humor and she enjoys her job. She gave me the estimate over the phone and she was right on. Pam has a special talent and uses it well. She also liked our dog. If you are a pet owner....that's a plus!.

I called her, she returned the call and have a date she could come out. After the scheduled appointment time I called her and she said she forgot. She didn't want to make another appointment at that time and said she would call back. She didn't, so I called again, same runaround. Don't bother. I can recommend the person we ended up using - they were excellent.

It was really good. They were reasonable. On Christmas, we had called somebody that we had a contract with because everything was backing up in our tub and they charged us about $800 to do basically nothing. When Pam The Plumber came out, the guys were just nice and they were reasonable. They got the roto rooter thing clean out the whole thing. They were pleasant and friendly. My husband dealt with them mostly but they were pleasant, reasonable. They came in a timely fashion. He explained a lot of things over the phone. We were very happy with them.

Knew her stuff . A bit disorganized and an interesting personality but very reasonable and competent.

It was very good. She's the only person I could contact who could come out on a Sunday. She was fast and efficient.

No one else was even answering their phones or returning calls! They were able to fix all 6 pipes today and didn't even charge me emergency service rates. Pam was in touch with me the whole time, and her guy was out here when promised. They were very professional and polite. They are my new go-to plumbers!

Excellent service, on time as promised. Gave me the Angie's List discount and an additional discount for two toilets. Personable, professional plumbers who did the job quickly. Very happy with this company and will call them soon to install a second water heater.

Excellent response Called 3 plumbers. She was the second response and the only one who could come the same day.

John showed up on time and kept me informed of all the work he was doing. Everything he worked on functions perfectly. Price was reasonable and charged by the job not the hour like some other plumbers.

I wouldn't hesitate to call Pam in the future for my plumbing needs.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I contacted several companies Sunday night about sewage back-up into my basement bathroom. I scheduled to have someone come out to give me an estimate from the first company that called me back. Pam actually called back while I was on the phone with that company and left a voicemail apologizing for not getting back to me on Sunday night (although in my voicemail I did not request a call back until Monday morning). After coming to the house and inspecting the issue, the other company quoted me an astronomical price, with possible add-on cost. I paid the $89 for the quote and declined their services. I called Pam and she gave me details on what she thought was the problem and quoted me a price for fixing it. It was 4 PM at this point and she said she could not get her technicians over until 9 PM... but that they could still come that evening or the following morning. I told her that the morning was fine and they showed up on time. Willy and Chris were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions (and I ask a lot of questions!). They ended up spending the entire day here because the problem was not what was expected... but stayed true to the promised price!!! Hard to find companies with that kind of honestly, integrity AND quality work! Thanks Pam, Willy, and Chris!!!!

I called Pam because we noticed a pipe leaking outside after moving into our new house. She asked me questions over the phone and was able to assess what pipe it was and that it was not important. The leak won't do any damage and actually just went a couple more feet and deposited onto the ground anyway. She saved us the time and money of having someone come out to look at the pipe only to tell us it didn't need to be fixed. I had called other plumbers and they all said they had to come out in person to look at the pipe and I would need to make an appointment. We will definitely use Pam in the future when we go to change out our bathroom sink!

First called Pam about 3 weeks ago, explained the problem, got a quote. Told her we would call her when we were coming down to our Atlanta house from Lake Lanier. When I next called her to arrange an a.m. appt. she said she didn't work early, but would work very late with no problem. That didn't fit my schedule so I said we'd call her later. Next my husband called her and she said she was in her doctor's office, remembered talking to me, and remarked she had given me a low quote on the work which was replacing a valve related to the hot water heater. She said she really couldn't talk and would he call her the next day. He called the next day and she explained how very busy she was and said her colleague John (name?) would call him. John didn't call and my husband said he was tired of chasing her down and gave up on her. He speculated she didn't want to honor the price she had originally given me. Also, I had explained the problem to Pam as my husband explained it to me to get the price Pam gave me. My husband subsequently called two other plumbers who said that there would need to be two valves replaced, not one. My complaint here is that Pam at first seemed to want our business then pushed us off on another plumber who never called.

She was really busy so she sent and an assistant; he did a good job. She then came along at some point. It went really well.

Pam was very personable and pleasent to have as a contractor. Having the kitchen and 2 Bathrooms remodeled we had numerous contractors (all were excellent) and Pam stood out above the rest. Her personality and work ethic were second to none. Would highly recommend her

I tried to fix a clog in the kitchen sink with plunger and a snake but couldn't get it. Declared defeat, called Pam the Plumber, and they snaked it from the roof. Had cleared it out in 45 minutes.

The work was performed by John, a plumber who works for Pam. Overall, it went well, the new plumbing works fine, and I would consider hiring this firm again. My only issue is the lack of attention to detail. Specifically, the replacement valves were not the same type and the work area was not completely cleaned up after the work was done. The valve issue is not critical as this is in a utility room and doesn't show. However, it is that extra attention to "doing the job 100%" that sets the very best contractors apart from those that are just good.

Our 19-year-old water heater sprung a leak on Sunday morning so we needed to get a new one pronto. I called three plumbers for quotes and Pam called me right back despite being on her day off. After I told her Monday morning that she had the job, we arranged for a Monday afternoon install. She later called with an estimated start time and showed up ON TIME, which is very important to me because I had to leave work early (in the middle of a rare crisis, actually). Pam and her helper worked into the evening and we soon had hot water again. She installs high quality hardware, did a neat job, spotted a few necessary fixes to take care of while working in the tank area, and followed up with a phone call the next morning. Thanks Pam!

Great! Easy as pie and not expensive. Very fast response.

I called to get an estimate on work that was cited by a home inspector as needing done for a sale of a rental property. Pam was not available but because I was only in town until the next day she sent an associate, John, who came THAT DAY. He did an EXCELLENT job of looking over the cited problems, fixed one on-the-spot for nothing, explained the best way to do the others including going into the crawl space and figuring out how to do a difficult one because of the way the house was built (the relief line from the water heater), and giving me what I considered to be a very reasonable estimate for all the work. I told him that my property manager would be in touch to schedule the job. The only "stumble" was the difficulty my property manager had in getting someone out there to do the work, but that was because they were so busy. The work was finally done about two weeks later and was done completely and perfectly.

I called the company and someone called back. Appointment scheduled and I asked that I receive a call 30 minutes prior to arrival of plumber. I did not receive an advance call, so I went home anyway to check and the plumber was there and had my phone number written down incorrectly and was not able to complete the work and rescheduled for another day. He was very polite and did the work required.

Pam returned my call in a timely manner She was knowledgeable and courteous during our conversation.
