Empire Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. was founded in 1985 and is an independent dealer for American Standard, Amana, Daikin, Bradford White and many more product lines. We solve heating, cooling, water heating and indoor air quality problems for our customers. Our technicians have earned the Angie's List Super Service Award 15 times. Our main office is located in Decatur, Georgia with a satellite office in Cumming, Georgia to serve the greater north Atlanta area. We service, install, and repair all makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment including ductless systems and heat pumps. To maintain our high standards, all of our senior technicians are NATE certified. Together, our team has more than 200 years heating and air conditioning experience. Empire performs background checks, random drug tests and even personality profiles along with continuous customer service training to ensure you have a pleasant and worry-free experience. We are active in the contracting community and participate with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, MAACA, ASHRAE and other professional organizations to stay on top of the issues that concern you. Description of Work: Outrageously over priced very argumentative with custom tech and c s was rude over the phone. I refused to use them tried to charge me for a part (ac capasiter) that I know cost about $10-50. Very disappointed will never use or recommend.

This does present a good time to discuss pricing. We are a service company and our service includes diagnosing the problem, providing and installing parts, retesting the system to verify the the part did in fact resolved the issue as there are many cases where more than one problem exists and a repair will have to be made in order to function the unit to complete a full operational test. We then verify that the rest of the system is functioning properly at that time as well as a full one year on site parts and labor warranty. Our services include a dispatch team in the office to coordinate the efforts of technicians and maintain computer records of all equipment and services provided. You never need a copy of your receipt as we have it all in our records and that information is available to the technician on site live and real time via electronic dispatch. Our technicians are covered by workman's compensation insurance so you don't have to worry about liability having them on site. They are additionally insured for protection of your person and property. The list of all the items included in providing a service is extensive: vehicles, inventory, training, local, state and federal compliance to a wide range of rules and regulations is just the beginning. I do agree you can buy just about any part on the internet for a fraction of the price of having professional service company provide, install, verify and guarantee the task of providing the service. We charge what is required to cover our simple overhead and post a modest profit for the service we provide.
