The technician was great! He told me what was wrong, what he did to fix the issue, and also told me how much it would cost before he performed any work. After he finished, the final price was less than quoted.

It went well. I had a dirty filter that was replaced, tech checked system and it was running ok for the $69 original coupon. Added 1st one pound of Freon for the additional $136. I thought doing our dialogue that the Freon was $36 so seeing it as $136 on the receipt was a little shocking. But based on my prior interactions with the technician, I assumed that I must have NOT heard his original estimated price for the 1st one pound. I did not get that he was dishonest at all. Very knowledgeable and professional. We made jokes about their name matching the empire flooring company which I brought up, and laughed about when I had Angie's list call them to determine their timetable to honor my coupon. He said they get lots of request for carpet....smile. I have a very close church member normally as my A/C repair guy, but he was busy and unavailable; and if that occurs again I will use Empire again. Great Job!!

The guy was prompt and and got the job done quickly, he explained the things he saw that looked good and things that looked worth keeping an eye on. Very professional.

My service tech arrived and he was very professional and knowledgeable. After a very short time he identified the problem and fixed the blown capacitor. I would use them again

This company was very cooperative with me having to change the appointment at the last minute and then the service guy was right on time. He was informative and courteous. He did not push me to buy anything I didn't want. He was quick to get the job done yet did not rush through it. I will use this company again.

They usually are quick and efficient, but in the summer months, things get backed up quickly. Be sure to book your service appointments early.

I called Empire at 9:30 am last week and they were able to send a technician later the same day. They recommended a total new system since mine was 25 years old. I took their word for it since I had used them in the past (10-15 years ago) and had been satisfied. Also they had good reviews on Angies List. I was disappointed though that I had to wait 8 days for the next installation as it's been in the mid 90's during this period. To help they installed a small window unit in the bedroom which got us by, but barely. The installation team, Blake and Dell, were terrific. They came on time, worked unobtrusively and cleaned up afterwards. They were polite and courteous and seemed knowledgeable. Blake made sure to put my screen back when removing the window unit. Dell was quite helpful in assisting in my setting up the wireless thermostat. Chris, the sales person, has been responsive and accessible to answer my questions. it was just installed yesterday so I can't comment on the unit's operation yet. but overall I was very happy with Empire. I'm not sure about pricing since I didn't get other bids due to the extreme heat. I called another provider and they were unable to give me any estimate of installation wait time so I felt pressure to get this moving.

Everything is an 'A' for those guys. I would use them again.

Was hoping what the tech did would suffice but hot weather and upstairs the extra freon could not keep it as cool. So Jaren was fine - it was the blunt, curt Lori who I spoke to on the phone about possibly having someone come out again is my issue. I would not use them again because of her.

In June our upstairs AC unit stopped working so we had our repair company come out to diagnose the problem under our annual maintenance agreement. After 3 attempts they could not give us a clear answer on what the problem was, and we didn't feel like we could completely trust them to get the work done at that point. I looked up Empire on Angie's List for our area and read the great reviews. We had another highly rated company come out also, but we felt best about the Empire technician (Cutty) who was very experienced and clearly communicated what had happened. Cutty designed a replacement solution that enabled us to continue to use the furnace/blower unit and just replace the coils and the outside unit. He also took into consideration some future renovations upstairs we have planned and made sure that the new system would be sufficient for the needed air conditioning. The installation crew was professional and worked hard to get the work done in the time frame they promised. We have enjoyed the new system for the last week and a half and are thankful that Empire was able to take care of us so well.

Service tech Scott came out and he was great! Our AC stopped running last night and we called Empire this morning and they said they would fit us in. It's supposed to be 95 degrees next few days so we were a little desperate. At 4:00 technician Scott came out and looked over the system and fixed it as quickly and inexpensively as possible by replacing the capacitor. Cost was $88 for residential dispatch and then $179 to replace the capacitor. We had a $35 off Angie's List coupon.

First year went fine, unit worked great. By the second summer season the unit was not working at all during a very hot June in Atlanta. Called to get this addressed. They came out and fixed the issue next day but charged me $200. After one year of moderate use (we keep the unit at 72 degrees in the summer) this equipment was failing and they don't stand by their work. JUST ONE YEAR OF USE! FOR SURE STAY CLEAR OF AMERICAN STANDAR AC.

They are great. Empire is fantastic, the price is really reasonable. I think I intended to review them for the HP A/C, for the new air conditioner and the water heater but I don't know if I actually did it. A couple of months ago, they come out twice a year to service the furnace and the air conditioner. Their service contract is average but the cost for the air conditioner and the water heater was good.

They are popular so if you need your AC fixed immediately, this may not happen. The technician was amazing. Professional, thoughtful, and explained everything that was happening. No complaints about him. My only issue is that I was quoted 2 possible prices, one by the technician which was correct and another by an admin over the phone. That and because the compressor we needed was not already in stock, we were charged for having it shipped to them, which in my opinion made no sense.

Cutty showed up on time with amazing service and class A attitude. Loved the service, the explanations and the recommendations for future actions that i should take. VERY reliable and kind. will definitely hire again !. Thank you !

It was a furnace check. They had to replace a faulty circuit board for our upstairs unit. It took a few days to arrive, but they installed quickly and got everything running again.

Provider came out promptly and did a great job of checking out our AC and making recommendations to save us dollars.

They have been really good. They come in to do an annual maintenance. They come and take care of any minor issues. They have been very cooperative.
