About us

Empire Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. was founded in 1985 and is an independent dealer for American Standard, Amana, Daikin, Bradford White and many more product lines. We solve heating, cooling, water heating and indoor air quality problems for our customers. Our technicians have earned the Angie's List Super Service Award 15 times. Our main office is located in Decatur, Georgia with a satellite office in Cumming, Georgia to serve the greater north Atlanta area. We service, install, and repair all makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment including ductless systems and heat pumps. To maintain our high standards, all of our senior technicians are NATE certified. Together, our team has more than 200 years heating and air conditioning experience. Empire performs background checks, random drug tests and even personality profiles along with continuous customer service training to ensure you have a pleasant and worry-free experience. We are active in the contracting community and participate with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, MAACA, ASHRAE and other professional organizations to stay on top of the issues that concern you. Thank you, for taking the time to review. I did check the invoice and pricing is correct. Our technician replaced an electrical disconnect in the attic, recharged the system with four pounds of refrigerant, checked the sub cooling, amperages, connections, air flow etc. to complete the service as well as, recommending a leak search to find the source of the refrigerant leak, adding a safety switch to protect against condensate leaks and a planned maintenance agreement that would have saved you 20% on this repair. Our planned maintenance program costs $154 for the first system and $99 for additional systems. Providing planned maintenance lowers operating costs, improves dependability, allows you a 20% discount on all service procedures and guarantees availability of emergency service.

Description of Work: We had 2 systems removed and replaced. These guys were first class from start to finish. After they completed the project the service manager contacted us (un-solicited) saying he wanted to inspect the work. After reviewing it he found a couple things he wanted to touch up. He spent an additional 2 hours working on the system to make it perfect. How many companies would go to that length? We could not have been more happy with their work- great job guys!

Description of Work: Just moved the area, so I thought I should get the HVAC checked out, so I purchased their furnace checkup special for $55, they showed up as scheduled and he checked the furnace and HVAC. They suggested that I replace the capacitator as it did not perform to specs, the charge was an additional $124 fpr the replacement. I would recommend for future use.
