Their receptionist or their scheduling person was a little snippy with me on the phone. They came out and didn't have the right ladder to service the office building. They were supposed to come back out. They said they were going to have the scheduling and call me. It's the end of business day on Monday and I still haven't heard anything from them. They could be more proactive in scheduling. Their customer service in the office could be a little more customer service oriented.

Luckily our heater waited for us to wake up on a Friday morning before conking out. I thought we might be able to make it through the weekend, but when it looked like that wasn't going to happen, they had someone out later that day for us. Fixed the heater, kept the costs down. I could only imagine al the things it _could_ have been. So impressed we signed upt for their regular maintenance plan right there.

The overall job went well and was done in one day. The problem is entirely with the honesty of the sales department. I wrote an RFQ covering all required equipment and services. Included was the type of blower required and it was clearly stated as variable speed. AceandA furnished a 3-speed blower instead without stating that omission in their proposal. They only listed system numbers without showing details of the equipment they proposed. They now claim that I was verbally told of the unauthorized change. Not so. The job was performed in June 2015. Since then I have tried several times to suggest a solution by email but received only one response which was not satisfactory to me. In the last two months there has not been any contact from the contractor. The installation includes a bedroom where the noise of the abrupt starting and stopping of the blower is particularly noticeable and annoying. I am holding AceandA responsible and following this experience I would not recommend them.

I am incredibly impressed with Ace and A. Tim consulted with me about my 30 year old system and was super knowledgeable about allergy technology. I was interested in the ultraviolet light because one of my family members has asthma. The price of the tech was lower than competitors, Tim really understood how it worked, and the product they use is highly rated online. I went with these guys and couldn't be happier. The install was quick. The crew was courteous and very respectful of my home. And the follow up was a nice touch. And about the ultraviolet light. My family member went from using his emergency inhaler 3-5 times a day in the home to once every couple of weeks. It sounds space agey but the light really does remove unseen bad stuff. So totally worth the money!

Ace & A repairman was pleasant and competent, as always. I have lost count of how many years I have been an Ace & A Service Maintenance Plan subscriber. More than 10, for sure. I will continue to subscribe.

I had another company scheduled to come to my house and replace my thermostat, but they canceled 1 hour before scheduled to arrive. I called Ace and A and they said they could have someone out in the next 6 hours. Perfect. Technician arrived within specified window, checked system and replaced the thermostat in a timely manner. Saved me from have to deal with a faulty thermostat over the long weekend.

We have used Ace and A over the past few years due to many faulty HVAC issues since moving into our house. They have been really responsive and professional each time and done a good job diagnosing nad repairing the problems. However, sometimes I am wary of their thoroughness, since they are out here so often. I can't tell if it is actually our system causing each problem, or maybe they just aren't repairing everything that needs to be done for preventive measures so we won't have to call them so much. There was just one time that the technician couldn't make it to our house one evening, despite waiting for several hours prior. Other than that, they have been very punctual. Overall, we have been pretty happy with the service and professionalism of the company.

We came home on Friday night to a hot and humid house. We tried resetting the Thermostat etc to no avail. We called ACE & A that evening and received a return after hours call within 5 minutes. The lady who returned our call was knowledgeable and asked us a few questions to determine what type of service was needed. She set up a Saturday morning 8 - 11 am time slot. She called me at 9 am to let me know the technician would be out to our house within 30 minutes. The technician also called to let us know he was outside our home and asked where he could park. The technician was polite, professional and worked quickly to determine the problem. He tested and cleaned all of our systems and replaced a defective part. I used them 15 years ago at a previous home and they were good then and even better now. I found them to be trustworthy, professional, personable and easy to do business with.

The service was absolutely great! My appointment was scheduled for the afternoon but their office called to let me know that there was a time slot open that morning. They wanted to know if the technician could come that morning, which I thought was very kind of them. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable and very professional. He also provided me with information on how to save on my electric bill. I have used Ace & A before and they have always been on time, professional and the cost is very good.

Rep made recommendations about replacement of coils vs. entire system. The rep as well as the technicians/installation team were very knowledgeable. Our unit is inside a very tight space in our attic. I was very nervous about how they were going to get it out through the house without making a huge mess. I was pleasantly surprised that all the work was done quickly and there was no mess. It was also scheduled immediately and they told us it would be done in 8 hours and they were done in 6 hours.

These guys are always great. They are responsive and always do the right job when you need them at a great price. There are a lot of companies in Atlanta but I will only use these professional for my HVAC needs because I can count on them to do it right, on time, and for the right price. I will be a repeat customer as long as I live in Atlanta. Thanks Dion for the great work! Tell your boss you need a raise.

Have used Ace & A Decatur office for 10+ years for all my heating and air conditioning needs. They installed a new furnace & a new AC unit for me in the past, and I have renew my maintenance contract with them each year. Their service techs have always been very professional, and the office staff very helpful. I would highly recommend them.

I've used them for about 15 years. I would definitely recommend them. I've had a contract with them for years to service our house and other family members' houses. They are fair priced. They are reliable and honest. They have capable employees who are very personable. I trust them around the house. I've had the same tech for 5 or 6 years. They are always responsive. Every time I call them, I am able to schedule something that is convenient for me. They give me a window and call me in advance. They are timely when they come.

Showed up promptly when scheduled and the work took almost exactly the amount of time they said it would. Cleaned up after. Very pleasant workers.

I called ACE & A on Monday to repair my furnace from a quote they had given me earlier. The person that took my call was a little rude, stating that one person came to my house and said repair, but then another person came out and said I needed to replace the furnace. I replied that only one person came to my home. She then questioned me as to whether or not I was me?!?. After putting me on hold she came back and said we'll have to order the parts, it may be Friday, we'll call first. Tuesday morning as I was about to leave for work I got a call from the same person telling me the technician was on his way. There was no heads-up, I was caught completely off guard, but because I was so happy at the thought of getting heat, I missed a paid day of work. Then enters James, the same technican that gave me the quote to repair or replace. James was a pleasure to work with; he came in, did the job (in frigid temperatures and a crawl space) and was the nicest and most polite young man to work with. He explained everything thoroughly and was in and out quickly. James replaced the motor and flute. I used Ace & A because I've lived in Decatur for years, they're local, family owned and the techs that have came out to my home have always been professional and polite and not a reflection of the person that took my call. I also used an Angie's list coupon for this company; an added plus.

So my downstairs heating unit broke days before the coldest day in Atlanta in nearly 20 years. We were saved by our gas fireplace and space heaters, but I digress. I called Ace & A, who I'd used 2 years ago (interestingly enough when my upstairs unit broke down 2 days before the hottest day in Atlanta in 15 years, go figure -- but Ace & A saved me then, too). The unit blower and compressor would come on if we switched on the AC but when it was switched to heat. Only the blower would come on and the air coming out of the vents was just as cold as the attic. I got on Angie's List, went through my favorites list and called Ace & A. They would've come the same day but I scheduled them for the next afternoon and our serviceman (Dion - super nice!) was on time, called prior to arriving and diagnosed the issue in about 2 minutes: Blown pressure switch. Service call is $85, part cost 169. (The Angie List coupon did help out.) This is a safety feature that apparently keeps Co2 from building up inside the unit and coming into the house (or something like that - Dion explained it much better than I can). Also he pointed out some other problems that were going on with the unit that caused some rust inside that could lead to other, preventable. Obviously, I'm glad we got a head's up on that and we're able to prevent some future problems or breakdowns. I've used them in the past, I am glad I used them again and I will definitely use Ace & A again in the future!

Excellent service. The technician (Dion) arrived as scheduled and quickly assessed the problem with my heating system (a blown inducer motor). He ordered the part, came back pr0omptly the next day and everything is working fine. This was a pleasant surprise since the system is about 10 years old. They were able to get everything working so quickly within a day and the price was reasonable.

Point by point maintenance of heating and a/c system, and recommendations about care and repair of said appliances. The employees are always on time and very professional. It is easy to schedule an appointment that is convenient. We have had a contract with ACE & A since 2006, and are very happy.

Installation went well - cleanly and quickly. I've used Ace & A for about 6 years and have a service agreement with them for two units (furnaces & air conditioners). I have, however, had an ongoing issue with the upper level of my house being too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Ace & A always timely responded to my requests for service but could find no malfunction. This year one of the condensers went bad and we decided to replace both of them at the same time. The heat issue continued, even with the new units. Thermostat was set for 72 degrees but the temperature would rise to 78+ degrees. I once again called for service and, this time, Jermaine was able to see what the issue was - a bad damper. The part was ordered (at a discount because we had just spent quite a bit of money on the new units) and it was installed two days later. The temperature has remained constant and I am a happy camper!! Hopefully when the furnace is turned on in the next couple of weeks, I'll still be happy. If I'm not, I'm sure that Ace & A will be over to make it right!

While I am satisfied with the quality of the furnace and the air conditioner, I am unhappy about the way they installed the furnace. They piped all around the water heater. Whenever I have to replace the water heater it will be vary difficult on account of the way they installed the furnace.

The first call went great, the tech arrived on time, spent 10 minutes with the unit. He called me upstairs and show me where the board had a burn spot. He called the home office for a replacement board. He gave me a esitmate for the part and the labor to replace the board. The service call fee was applied to cost of the actual service. The second call was a bit confusing with multiple calls from dispatch. First, he was on his way, then he was running late, then he would be very late and might not be there that day. After that call, he showed up 30 minutes after the original scheduled time. It was a bit confusing and annoying but he did arrive. The service call lasted 20 minutes. Researching, after the fact, the part online was $130 and was charged $180. The part was simple to replace so I left that the price was good, not great. However, when your air conditioning is out on one of the hottest weeks, beggars were not choosers. All in all, I would call them again.

Very well, some minor adjustments were needed before i would sign off. These were handled promptly, professional and neatly.

Great service and recommendations.

They were very good. There was an initial problem with the blower as the blower motor came in and they replaced it with no problem. They're here when they said they'd be. The response time was very short and that was excellent. The service was extremely satisfactory. Their price was the best out of five different quotes that I had. The equipment is under warranty. They did everything the way they're supposed to do. The connections and everything else was just fantastic. I was comfortable with them.
