The guy who came for the service had really good personality. He was very friendly. He did a good job as far as I know. I had some issues later and I called him. He came back and did solve the issue. He was very professional.

i'm very pleased with the results. fence and deck look great. severin was careful not to damage plants, grass, etc. and left everything as clean as it was when he began. project took about a day and a half.

Extremeley knowledgeable, diligent and professional! Price was better than I could have expected and the service was more than excellent. I have nothing but praise for this company and would highly recommend them for painting and deck maintence. You cannot find anyone better for the quality of work, professionalism and price. I have 3 decks and over a 5 day period they were pressure washed, sanded in specific areas and painted. Price included the paint and he also took down and removed a gazebo that needed to gotten rid of. Very happy with the results all the way around.

There were a few delays due to the weather, however the job went well. He was able to complete the 2-3 day process while I was at work. He even pressure washed my lawn furniture, while cleaning the decks. Upon completion of the job, he gave feedback regarding how to best care for my decks. I had a great experience an will contact Deck Domain in 2011 when it to time to reseal my decks.

This is the second time I've used Severin. He is a one man operation, so he does not have lots of advertising or staff. He answers his phone at pretty much any hour eager to work. I think he does a lot of business by word of mouth. He is a good guy and seems to work hard. It was brutally hot the day he did my deck this year, and he was out there for a good 6 or 8 hours getting everything taken care of. He moved my deck furniture and grill around to do his job. No problems. My deck always looks fantastic when he finishes with it.

We are pleased what they did and it wasn't overly expensive. It was in the region of what we paid last time. He did a good job, he didn't leave stain everywhere and he did a good job with the drive. We have a fairly big drive. My husband is the one who dealt with him.

We hired deck domain to clean and stain our medium sized deck. I had three telephone conversations about the job with him before he started. Each time I attempted to explain that I was concerned about damage to the surrounding plants. Specifically, I have a trellis with vines on one side of the deck that I did not want killed. I told him that I was not concerned with the trellis being cleaned or stained and to just avoid the area completely if there was a risk it would damage the vines. He assured me that the plants would not be harmed and that he could do parts of the trellis without damaging the plants. Well, I came home to shiny, varnished plants, not just the vines but ALL the plants within a two foot distance of the deck! Apparently he didn't cover the plants at all and was very sloppy with the over-spray. I'm really surprised he would be that careless, especially after I expressed my concerns to him several times and he promised everything would be fine. Now most of the leaves are falling off my plants. I just hope that the chemicals didn't kill them entirely and that they can put out new leaves eventually. I'm very disappointed because based on how the deck itself turned out I would have hired him again. But given my situation, next time I will hire someone just to pressure wash and we'll do the staining ourselves because I know we'll be careful! So overall, if you have a deck with no plants nearby, you'll probably be pleased with his services. But if you have plants you care about, find someone who will be more careful and/or uses plant safe chemicals.

Severin came out and provided an estimate. He returned a few days later to perform the pressure washing, and then returned a day later to sand, stain, and seal the deck. The job and the price were fantastic. My wife and I found Severin to be a honest, trustworthy gentleman, who we'd certainly use again if the need arose. Great price, great work.

Contact with Deck Domain was prompt and courteous. The weather played a part as to when the work would get started, it all worked out fine. However, I wasn't told that I should cover my plants around the deck and unfortunately, several of them died from over spray. We love the way our old deck looks, almost new; we would use this company again, I will cover my plants that are in range of the end of the hose.

Proceeded through work without problems or unnecessary downtime. Project took about six hours. We are pleased with results.

He did what he said he was going to do and was less expensive than some of the other quotes that we received. He was prompt and he did a nice job.

They did a great job overall. They showed up and worked diligently for hours just pressuring washing the deck. They spent a lot of time sanding and staining two of the decks. The entire process took approximately 6 days. But the finished product as a result of the services was great!

We have used Deck Domain about three years ago and had another great experience with him. I also recommended him to two neighbors who both used him this past month and both reported great experiences to me. One needed a deck pressure washed and stained; the other needed her wooden portions of her house and her under-eaves pressure washed.

I called Severin and he was able to come out the same day to give me an estimate. I wanted both our deck and back yard fence stained. His price was very good and he gave me a 10% angies list discount. He said we would do the work the first week of may. He showed up to do the first step, the cleaning process, without calling first. It didn't matter because he didnt need any special access and he came as originally planned. He then called to be sure I would be home for the second day of work, the staining. He finished the work in several hours and it looks great!!

The representative came to my home and provided an estimate the same day I contacted him. The job entailed pressure washing and sealing my 2 decks for which I received an estimate of $520.00. There was a slight delay due to the weather, so there was a delay with starting the job. Sevin called to communicate the delay, and we agreed upon a follow-up date. The job was completed approximately 1 week following my initial call. My overall experience was very positive, and I am now enjoying the deck with my family.

Over all painless for me. Severin was polite and professional. Came over, gave verbal estimate. Stuck to the plan and took care of the job while I was at work. He let me know when he would be over and when he was finished. All was done when I came home. NO fuss for me at all. I have always been happy with the folks recommended by Angie's List.

Everything went well in terms of returned calls and follow up calls. I was trying to decide to go with this company or another that had gotten a bit arrogant, but also did good work. I decided to go with Deck Domain for the above reason and also Severin quoted me $30 less than the competitor. However, when he came to pressure wash before staining, he came around 6:00 PM on a Friday and I thought that was a stretch. Also, he asked me for a hose to pressure wash and felt it was not professional to bring your own equipment. All, I had was a narrow garden hose. He asked if I could ask a neighbor for the use of their hose. I didn't know anyone well enough to ask that, so I directed him to Home Depot and Lowe's which were each 3 miles in different directions. The hose was the only complaint I had with this company.

Severin did a fabulous job. He completed everything he promised, on-time and within the agreed upon budget. He really knows the world of deck maintenance. I would gladly hire Severin again, and am glad to give this reference.

Not surprisingly, the process took a week longer than projected due to weather. After power washing, it was discovered that more boards needed replacing than originally expected, most units had 1 only board. Two units with most exposure had 4 boards replaced. One screen was damaged and repaired promptly. An outside concrete wall will get touch up painting once paint color info is provided. There was no damage due to over spray or any worker activities, a totally different experience from the process done 3 years ago!

I was very pleased and satisfied with the progress and overall results of the work.

We've continued to use them for four years and they always do very good work. They are reasonable, honest and provide top quality work. The owner and operator is outstanding. In fact, his yearly treatments have lasted over a year and a half.

Once we get the OK from our HOA, we plan to hire Deck Domain for the project. We plan to refer this company to the HOA/other owners in our complex so they will consider hiring him as well.
