We are very happy with the work Jesse did. He explained the process and gave us a quote we were happy with. After the project started, we decided to add another layer to the wall, which he was in agreement with. Jesse is very easy to work with. We have some other projects we plan to have him do in the future.

Jesse and his crew were a pleasure to work with! Within a week of my initial contact the work was performed exactly as I had requested and to my complete satisfaction. This was a small job for the company, and I appreciated Jesse's willingness to work it in, and especially in such a timely manner. From the day I met Jesse to get an estimate until the day the job was completed, I found him to be courteous, dependable, flexible and professional in every way. When the crew arrived to do the job, they were friendly and respectful and went to work right away removing the old pine straw buildup around our foundation and plant beds. They carefully raked it onto tarps and placed it in their truck bed for disposal, leaving no trace of debris behind. They left our yard exactly as they found it, minus the pine straw. I would not hesitate to use the services of this company again for any landscaping job.

The work went very well. The work commenced on probably the coldest day of the winter and in a word the weather was rotten. The crew worked through the inclement conditions and got the replacement work done in a very timely manner. A couple of very small things had to be done to make it a great job and they made the correctionw in a very timely manner with no complaints.

I received two bids on this project and chose Modern Landscapes. I met with the owner, Jesse Callaway and he was punctual and professional and offered some suggestions on the stone in order to match up with what we currently have. He demonstrated his knowledge of stone work as well as we discussed the additional pergola and how we wanted it to be smaller but to match the design of the current one. I wanted a swing that was given to me as a gift to be hung inside the smaller pergola and he said they would do that for us also. I found his price to be fair and in line with the other bid. The crew arrived on Wednesday and started on all three projects the same day. The crew arrived early and they were courteous and I have two dogs which I reminded them to keep the gate closed as they went in and out of the backyard which they did. It is important to me that before work crews leave that the area they are working is cleaned of all trash and debris and any tools moved aside or put away and they did that. Jesse would check-in with me and the crew and came by several times to look at how the project was going. He also answered any concerns or questions I had during the project. They started on Wednesday and completed all three projects by Friday which I found amazing. We had one hiccup where an irrigation line was cut but without hesitation they had the materials and fixed it on the spot. The end result is fantastic. We love everything they did and cannot wait until Spring to enjoy swinging under our new pergola. I'm now asking ML to bid on adding plants to my front bed that we expanded.

All the improvements are working perfectly. No erosion or standing water. The work progressed steadily and smoothly - no surprises or extra costs. Jesse was extremely flexible and patient with all last minute changes. The crew was friendly and professional. I would definitely use this company again and recommend it to others.

It was a great experience working with Jesse and the crew from Modern Landscape Concepts. Jesse was honest, dependable and very easy to work with. He was able to quickly come out and provide a quote and was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process. Jesse is very knowledgeable in regards to landscape and hardscapes designs & development, which was evident in working with him and the work crew throughout this project. Jesse was able to provide great insight and suggestions as to how things could be done and they were able to adjust and adapt as the project moved along. The work crew was great, professional and precise with the work they performed. The project turned out great and we are extremely pleased with the look of the final product. Everything on both projects went well and I have asked Jesse to quote on a third project. Jesse has a real "can do" attitude. I would recommend that with any contractor doing work at your house, you not be shy about checking on progress occasionally while the work is underway. That way you know that they are doing it exactly the way you want it. Jesse's men are very accommodating. They want you to be happy with the result.

Had an appointment to get an estimate, never showed up, never called back to reschedule. I am glad I didn't get anything started with this company. In sync with most of the reviewers have to say about this company...just never shows up.

After getting price from several vendors , we zeroed in with them. Jesse was the nicest person to talk to and even before he started working we bothered him several times asking similar questions but he was always there and picked my call and responded . His honest and timeliness and above all very good price package , good work ethics prompted me to get him back again for a second time with 30 days . If u have landscape work , he is the guy to call.

They did a great job! Prompt and meticulous. They made sure that we got exactly what we wanted!

They arrived on time and Jesse verified the work. Breaking up the existing walkway took longer than expected so this job took about a day and a half. Everything was completed on time and budget. The crew did an excellent job and it looks great. Thank you

Completed work on two beds to control erosion problems, installed dry creek bed for erosion. All workers were very attentive to detail and customer satisfaction. Would not leave until I inspected all work and approved.

We really liked Jesse. He had a great vision for phase I and II so we felt he was a great fit for us. We hired him for phase I and his crew eventually showed to do the work as long I called and chased them to complete. The freshly dyed mulch was placed on our year old driveway after being told to not place on driveway. He was going to have someone pressure wash the dye off but the guy never showed so we paid someone else who was not able to get all that dye off the driveway. Jesse sent someone to lay the additional sod who normally doesn't lay sod, which we didn't know until too late. He did a horrible job that Jesse promised would be corrected but he never did finish 4 months later. Obviously, we never moved forward with phase II because they never "made it right" as promised with issues never being resolved. We really wish it had worked out because Jesse is a very smart landscaper with a great vision but all his crews are just not competent.

Very hard to get in contact with - took multiple calls. Finally got an appointment. Appointment was a no show and no phone call.

Did a fine job on the paver patio but failed to follow up on subsequent landscape project that was spec'd but not completed. They did what they were paid to do, but have never returned to do the second project. Overall workmanship still puts this experience in the good category.

Booked out too far. Needed work done ASAP.

The person delivering was courteous and gave me great yard tips.

They arrived in a timely fashion on the appointed day and delivered the mulch, they spread it exactly as we asked and even provided services such as edging that we did not expect. They cleaned up the remanents from our drive and it looks great.

My experience with Modern Landscape Concepts went well. They were really professional. The guy came out with a quick response to do the first estimate. They did have a lag time between estimate time and when they were actually able to come out and do the job. They were professional and timely. Their was a little mix-up that happened because of an employee mix-up. They were okay.

They arrived on time ready to work. They worked throughout the day until the job was completed. There were several additional jobs that we ask them to do while they were at our house and they did not hesitate to do them. The job site was left clean. The job was done in an excellent manner and looks beautiful. We were very pleased with their work and their professionalism. We would definitely call them in the future for any landscaping jobs that we need to have done. We would gladly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

I first made contact with the owner Jesse in early May. His bid was close to others I had obtained and chose him because of his courtesy, punctuality and professionalism. The job was delayed a few weeks but the result was worth the wait. I live on a street close to an urban shopping district so there is a great deal of foot traffic and *many* people walk the neighborhood with dogs. When I walk my dogs, it is difficult to find water for them mid-route so I wanted to offer my neighbors a spot for their dogs to get a drink. There were only two issues I had: they did not lay landscaping fabric as I'd asked them to and the autofill for the fountain did not function properly at first. Jesse returned today to fix the mechanism. All day yesterday, Sunday, I spent on my front porch enjoying the reactions the new yard was garnering. (The 'before' image was ghastly.) The final product is truly eye-catching and I am very pleased.

They were great. I have no complaints and they did what I asked them to do. I would definitely have them come again to do my yard.

It turned out real well and we are happy with it. The experience was excellent throughout. They showed up every day promptly, worked hard and did everything just like we asked for; I had no complaints at all. The people who did the work were nice and easy to communicate with. I had no objections and recommend them to anyone. I will use them again in the future.
