Description of Work: I asked them to put a spigot in the very back of my yard. They explained they would dig a trench to the back and showed me where the spigot would be placed. All went well until I got the bill of a WHOPPING $1050.00 for the work. I had been charged $110.00 an hour TO DIG THE TRENCH. I was stunned and called the office. I was told that I should have asked for a quote. I said it would have been decent for the two workers to tell me their hourly rate and they would take many hours for the digging. Had I known, I would have had my grandson dig it. The female I talked to said it was not the workers responsibility to advise me of the cost and - again - said I should have asked for a quote. I definitely feel that I was taken advantage of and their behavior was totally unethical. I will never call on them again!

Description of Work: Installed new wet bar faucet/handles with spray hose. Also installed sump pump for handling dehumidifier continuous drain operation. They took time to insure a professional install outcome. Well pleased.

Description of Work: Plumbing rough in for bathroom remodel. Excellent result. Arrived on time, quick work with no problems encountered. Will definitely use in the future.

Description of Work: I'd been using Lovelace for sometime and had them come and look at a leaking water heater. Two guys came out and just stood in front and said they don't work on water heaters. Lead guy had a real attitude. When I asked if he could just look and see where it was leaking he really copped an attitude but did it anyway. He said after about 15 sec of looking he couldn't do anything so I told him never mind I could do it better myself. They left and then I get a bill for $100 for them coming out and a price of $7500 to replace it. I called office and said they should have just told me they don't do water heaters on the phone and would save us both. Then office manager got an attitude. So after all this I take the top off water heater and see a leaking fitting. I took it off and reapplied teflon tape and refitted. Leak fixed! |Lovelace used to be good but they they have just gotten to big for themselves. Will not have them back out. Worst part was when I fixed the thing myself I called to speak to owner and was told by office manager that he wouldn't be in and didn't care what my problem was.

Description of Work: I called them up explaining what had to be done and the receptionsist had already started quoting a price when they had no idea what the job consisted of. The receptionist in my belief was very rude over the phone. She stated that she would send someone over to look at the problem. Nobody ever showed or or bothered to call and let me know. This is not a great way to conduct business.
