Description of Work: I used Lovelace Plumbing to open a drain.

Description of Work: There was a leak in a toilet that another company had tried to repair (and didn't). Lovelace was here approximately 15 minutes when they found the cause of the leak (a hairline crack in the toilet). They found the maker of the toilet which was a specific size toilet for childcare and had it ordered that day. They will return to put the toilet in when it comes next week.

Description of Work: We had what appeared to be a leaking washing machine. We called the repairman and found out it would take almost two weeks for an appointment. We decided to call a plumber instead because we discovered it probably wasn't the washer. I went to Angie's List and found Lovelace, a highly rated plumber. The initial problem was a leak from the washer drain line. We cleaned that up and thought we'd be fine until the plumber from Lovelace arrived the next morning. Later that night, my daughter took a shower and when she went to her room in the basement, it was flooded. Evidently there was a blockage in the line to the septic tank. We spent the rest of the evening cleaning up the water and moving stuff outside. The plumbers from Lovelace arrived the next morning and investigated the problem. While they were here, they installed an access to the drain line, which we didn't have. They routed the drain line all the way to the septic tank and removed the clog. They made sure everything was working properly before they left.

Description of Work: They unclogged a bathtub drain for me, replaced a couple of faucets, and repaired the plumbing lines to my shower.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our hot water heater requiring a part to be replaced.

Description of Work: Corrected leak at hot water tank by replacing the plastic pipes with copper pipes on both hot and cold connections at the top of the tank. Several splices were in the plastic piping at the cut off valve. The weight of the plastic pipe caused the leak at a splice joint.

Description of Work: I have known about Lovelace, but found good reports on Angie's List. The person that answered the phone was pleasant and scheduled right away a few days later. I just had a few dripping faucets, a dripping toilet and wanted a drain stopper for a bathroom sink. I was called a day ahead of the scheduled appointment if I wanted the work done then. The gentleman that came was professional and pleasant. It did not take him long to do those minor repairs. I was very happy with the work. If something major should arise, I now know who I will call.

Description of Work: the downstairs toilet did not have good suction when flushed. they come and went right to the job. they checked the sewage they snaked the toilet. then they took the tank off the back. the removed the blockage. the whole job took about 45 minutes if that long. they advised me not use chlorine tablets (the cause of the blockage) but to use cleaners that hang on the tank. i will.

Description of Work: I had hardwood floors laid a couple years ago, then left the country due to my job (military). When I returned, I noted one corner of the floor had buckled and was water stained. Since there was a facet right outside, I thought maybe that was the issue. I also had a toilet that seemed to be sucking in a lot of air so I had them check that as well. The workers were able to identify that the leak was not due to the facet and recommended that I call the company who put in my new drainage system - which was around the same time I placed the hardwood flooring. The workers thought the issue might be from the drains and water seeping in through the bricks. The toilet was a quick fix - a piece needed to be replaced.

Description of Work: We haven't had consistent hot water from one of our hot water heaters since we built the house seven years ago. Another plumber no longer in business installed the water heater. We finally called out this company to see why our hot water only lasted about five or six minutes in the shower. They determined the hot water heater was installed wrong -- cold pipe hooked up to hot connection and vice versa. The made the correction and now my teenage son is very happy with his shower!
