Deceitful conduct in an attempt to convince me to replace the entire unit. Bus. manager off-site attempted to tell me the tech hooked a new compactor onto my unit and discovered a leak. The unit was never turned on or running. The camera shows a tech assessing unit and entering the home three times in a total of 13:22 minutes in the rain. It takes longer to connect a new compactor and test. I was also told I need a new coil, have a leak, need a new compressor. The Bus. Mgr. also claims she advised the tech as to what to state and on phone the entire time back and forth. Not true. That would imply some incompetence. I do not think that is the issue. I do believe the initial assessment was correct, but he saw a potential sale based upon age. The majority of the time spent pitching to me various possibilities related to the repair in my home. Good practices lead to repeat and ongoing business. Instead, you made it harder to trust technicians.

I’m a property manager and deal with vendors regularly. This company diagnosed the issue for what it was and charged a very reasonable and fair price for the issue. I’ve encountered many companies that would have exploited the issue. Great job, Guardian. Anybody considering using them, definitely give them a try.

Richard did a great job. Knowledgeable and professional.

We thought we had a faulty thermostat that needed to be replaced. Richard came out and diagnosed the problem immediately. He advised that a capacitor in the furnace had somehow tripped the circuit breaker and he suggested it be replaced. He did the swap in no time and saved us from spending more money on a thermostat. He explained everything he was doing and even changed the furnace filter for me! I'll be calling them again and I highly recommend Guardian for your next repair job!

Richard was able to hook my Ecobee living room thermostat and power extender kit up very quickly. I had also installed an Ecobee thermostat on my own in another part of the house but had not taken into account the heat pump so it was not quite installed correctly, so he fixed me up with that as well. GREAT SERVICE!

The tech that completed the tune up on my 20yr system was great. He provided me information on what to expect going forward, what wasn't done correctly when a new motor was installed over a year ago and the up going new law that will go into affect January 2020. Bottom line, I'm happy that I choose Guardian.

Guardian came to my home after I had used a number of "big" companies to try to diagnose my problem. These other companies 1)misdiagnosed the problem 2)tried to push me into a new system even though my system is only 7 years old 3) charged me a fee to replace parts that they never actually replaced. I chose Guardian from their reviews. Richard came to my home and was able to go through my system and diagnose my problem. After my repair, my system has been working great since and the pricing was more than reasonable for a real HVAC technician who knows what he's doing. This IS the company you should choose if you need repair or replacement. I never felt pushed. I was walked through the steps and felt like he and his helper wanted to do right by me and not just push me into a sale. I need to replace 2 older systems and I won't call anyone else. I won't look for a cheaper handyman or turn to the "big guys" that dump a ton of money into plastering their logo everywhere but provide awful service. Thanks Guardian.. you have a customer for life and are worthy of 10 stars.

Guardian s technician came out to my home and was so helpful. He didn t try to sell us anything, was knowledgeable, gave us all possible options, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Guardian to everyone I know.
