Legacy Garage Doors

Called before arriving & arrived on time. Did service requested and educated me about concerns. I agreed to replace two older springs on one door as well. Very happy with service.

I used the offer to get Legacy Doors out to the house to look at my garage doors. One of the doors was not working properly so they diagnosed the problem and quoted me the price to fix it. Additionally, our two garage doors are 13 years old. I knew both needed to be looked at and both most likely needed additional maintenance. The service team was on time, courteous, and they explained everything to me in a very easy to understand way. I was able to make quick decisions and they maintenances both doors quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Legacy Doors!!!

The business is family owned and operated by two brothers. They showed up on time for the appointment and gave me numerous options for the repair or replacement of my garage door. I choose to get a new garage door and once again I had different options. They explained in detail and easy to understand language all of my options. Their quality of work is superior; the garage door I purchased is a superior product. The brothers are professional, personable, and sincere. I am very thankful I choose this company.

I called Legacy to schedule an appointment for a quote on 2 new replacement garage doors and motors. I had done my due diligence and had interviewed several top providers on AL. Josh and Andy are two brothers who basically work out of their truck. But they perform like a smooth operation. They returned my call promptly, showed up for the appointment on time and did not try and oversell me. They explained to me why I didn't need the higher R value door while one other well known provider was pushing it. They spoke highly of all of their competition and I just got a great feeling from them. Sure enough, they delivered - showed up on time for the install, worked quickly, helped me set up my app, made sure everything worked well and answered all of my questions. I am pretty detailed oriented and they explained everything to me. Their price was competitive and unlike all of the other providers I interviewed, offered a TWO year warranty on labor - most are one. We absolutely love our new garage doors and would highly recommend Legacy to anyone looking for a good product and quality, honest service.

Everything went smoothly. They showed up on time, evaluated the situation, made recommendations, and immediately began work. Work was completed quickly and to my satisfaction. An excellent transaction. The employees were personable and remembered being here before.

Late Monday night, my wife and I discovered our garage door wouldn't open. Even without the automatic garage door opener, the door was now supremely heavy to open manually. We were in a difficult spot with limited ability to get cars in and out of the garage. The next morning I compared prices and reviews on Angie's list and Legacy had better prices and better reviews than most of the others. I called and talked to Josh, got some great information and quote over the phone. They were able to come out within a couple of hours and the work was completed in less than an hour. They explain everything they were doing and helped me understand the way the system worked overall. They were pleasant, professional and honest. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We weren't thrilled about an unexpected expense, but I have to say that seeing how smoothly my garage door goes up and down now makes it clear that the money was well spent. I highly recommend Legacy.

Two engineers came 30 minutes late and inspected a broken garage door. They suggested a couple of options including repair, and replacement with explanation in detail. Their response was very prompt because they carried most of parts in their van. In my case, however, they did not have a part I wanted, and they installed a higher version without additional cost.

After my garage door fell off the rollers, I contacted two reputable garage door companies. My initial cheap base garage door (5 years old) fell half-way (held by the springs) off the roller three times and this time it fell half-way inside the garage (luckily while car was out). Both companies came but the differentiating factor was: Andrew erected and secure the door. Then he kept me updated daily via email and phone on the progress of him looking for the exact garage door. That made my decision easy to go with Legacy Garage Door. One day, I was in meeting all day and he called 3 times, send me e-mails to get my approval on a door color he found. Since he couldn't get a hold of me, he stopped by the house after 7 PM with the hope to catch me. He brought samples of the garage door and the explained in detail but in plain language the differences between the old cheap door I had and thermo-type of garage door I upgraded. I consider myself a handyman and there were times I tried to put that garage door back in place. Took us (four people including my neighbor football kid player) hours to try to secure the door. It took Andrew less than 5 minutes to erect and dissemble the door on installation day. The only item I would like the company to look into is, if we agreed on price and date, there is no need to get a second 'yes' from a customer in order for technicians to pick up the product at the warehouse/distribution center. I understand why you may want to do that, then I suggest get an approval via email (black on white). Andrew had to drive to my house to get an approval from me the customer as he could not get in touch with me the day before the installation to pick up the door. Please for the reader, this is not a complain rather a recommendation to the company on that one aspect of verification process the day before installation. They like to verify if it is still okay to pick up the door, as I understand the distance and storage logistics. That extra stop and all the constant updates depict an exceptional customer service we as customer wish all companies had; with that said, Andrew deserve a Stellar Award and the company as well! Don't read further (save your time) and contact legacy Garage Door and request a young man by the name Andrew and his mentor (sorry forgo!t his name).

We left a phone message for Legacy Garage Doors on Wednesday, 8/26/15 5:30 p.m. in regards to a broken spring on our garage door. Promptly at 8:30 a.m. Thursday 8/27/15 we received a reply back from Josh. We explained our dilemma to him, could not open or close the garage door. They were kind enough to fit us into their busy schedule and arrived at our home by 10:30 a.m. The repair was completed to our satisfaction. We have had previous positive results with Legacy Garage Doors and would not use any other company. Andrew and Josh are so pleasant and professional.

This is the 2nd time I've used Legacy Garage Doors, and have no reason to ever use anyone else. Scheduled them thinking I needed something fixed (I didn't), but had them put in some new equipment while they were here.

Worked was performed above my expectations. Very professional and explained everything in detail.

This company was great. I bought the buy it now deal on Friday morning. They contacted me within a couple hours and came out today and already fixed the doors and gave them a general tune up. It was an easy process and I was very impressed with their response time, professionalism, and knowledge of Josh and the other gentlemen with him. Both were great.

went very well , Andrew was a dear went over everything before he started. Knowing me I asked alot of questions and he knew the answers and told me how it would work. I am so satisfied.

It went really, really well. He was able to help me and he was able to get me an accurate estimate over the phone. Everybody else was telling me it was $3000 and he was able to do it for just under $300. I was really impressed. He was very professional. They showed up on time and they did a great job.

Please see above. HOWEVER, I MUST APOLOGIZE THAT I PREVIOUSLY AND MISTAKENLY RATED THEM WITH A TERRIBLE GRADE BECAUSE I DID NOT READ THEIR NAME CAREFULLY AND THOUGHT THEY WERE THE GARAGE COMPANY THAT CAME OUT PRIOR AND TREATED US BADLY.

Andrew called and asked if it was ok, he was going to be about 30 minutes early. I know when does that happen with an afternoon appointment. He explained and showed me everything as he did the service. That's the kind of service that I like.

wiAndrew & Josh were on-time, professional, knowledgeable, & courteous. I knew something was wrong with the door/opener but I didn't know what when I made appointment. They evaluated and gave me several options for repair. Work went smoothly. I would definitely recommend & use again.

I have been described as OCD by close friends. While this is not true, I would certainly concede to being a micro-manager. So, as this installation was occuring, I stood over the guys installing the doors and asked multiple questions about every step and every detail of every action they were doing. With smiles, they answered and continued to work. They of course completed the job with a positive attitude after walking me through enything I may need to know to operate the doors and openers correctly. I would, and already have, recommended them to others. I am very pleased with my new doors and of course the openers, that since they were installed propoerly dont rattle and shake the entire house.

Things went very well. I am very satisfied.
