Legacy Garage Doors

Overall I was very pleased with the service BUT I was suprised to find out that the $99 that I originally paid on Angie's website covered only ONE garage door (small print detail). In retrospect I kind of regret taking this deal because there was a similar deal which covered inspection for 2 doors and replacement of one set of rollers- it would have saved me the extra $99 I had to pay on site.

Everything was great. They were timely and very professional

Our garage door stopped working on Sunday night, I called Legacy on Monday morning they fit us in the schedule for that day. They arrived to the appointment early and were very easy to work with. They did a great job.

Garage door was opening and closing on its own. They came out very quickly, determined the problem, educated me about garage doors and gave me options on what they thought should be done now, what else I might want to have done to have it run more efficiently, etc. There was no pressure to do more than solve the initial problem. Will definitely use them again and recommend them. Problem is now solved and door runs much more quietly and smoothly.

So glad I found them on Angie's List. They explained the problem and how they could fix it. Worked quickly. Even though it was raining like crazy, they were both in a good mood.

The lifting track of our garage door opener began to shudder during use and then the door would not open all of the way without being "forced up" by holding the wired button down inside the garage. It would always close but had problems being opened. Legacy was able to accommodate our schedule for an appointment. They also were prompt in setting an appointment. They assessed the problem and explained it in a professional manner. They gave us three options, we made a choice, they removed our 12+ year old door opener and installed a new opener. They even programed the homelink button in my car. They did the work quickly but took time to make sure it operated properly before they left.

They arrived on time and talked about what needed to be done, they got to work right away. They were both very nice and professional.

On Friday evening when the garage door was closed, there was a loud noise as it reached the floor and the door would not raise again! One of the springs had broken and I had to manually lift the heavy steel door to get my car out of the garage on Saturday. I checked Angie's List for a recommendation and found Legacy Garage Doors and the bonus of a Big Deal being offered. On Monday morning I called the company and an appointment was made for that same afternoon. I received a call when the repair man was en route and because traffic was very heavy, he apologized for being a bit later than he had anticipated. The young man, Josh, who came to do the repair was very knowledgable and explained what he had to do, explaining why both springs needed to be replaced. It made perfect sense and he got right to the job and completed the repair very efficiently and the door now operates like new.

It went well. They did an exam of the door, suggested several items that needed to be done, including some options and then offered a reasonable price. They were done quickly

The ;Legacy Garage door guys arrived very promptly, after I called. We had the house painted and the seals of the garage door where stuck to the door. As I didn't know that, I had opened the door from the inside control button and the chain rail guide bent as it couldn't open the door. I found Leagcy had a special under Angie's list, so I uesed their services. Highly recommend them.

They were prompt and on time. They really knew what they were doing and did a good job.

Appointment was easy to set after initial purchase based on geography in Atlanta and even though they arrived about 30 minutes late they worked very quickly and were extremely friendly and professional. I would use them again for a repair or replacement and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a neighbor or friend.

On the appointed day, they called and said they were running late but gave a very good estimate of arrival time. Since the door was locked shut, they had to get it to open. They got the door open in seconds which was great. They were suprised that the door was the style it was, they had never seen this style door used in the way it was. They replaced the old springs (wrong size), replaced the frayed cabling system and put a safety system in (so it would fall onto anyone), and put properly sized pulleys in place. The locking mechanism was a jury-rig and they fine-tuned it so it locks better. They were fast, knowledgable and very pleasant to work with. The final price was higher than estimated but we have a working door now.

I think they did a great job. The functionality of the doors, as compared to prior to the visit, is like night and day. The now operate quietly and smoothly. The guys were prompt, courteous and seemed to know their business. Highly recommended.

They called first, and actually were able to come out earlier than the set up time. Installation was done quickly, and clean up was done very well. Also, detailed explanation given for instructions of use.

We had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Andrew in May of 2012 when we had them install a double garage door for us. Their workmanship, price, friendliness at that time made us ask them to install another garage door for us in our home on August 9, 2012. We were impressed by their working relationship; we would always hear them talking and laughing just like good friends would do, not just business workers. Josh and Andrew possess incredible workmanship and we give them the highest recommendation possible.

Called and received quote over phone. Scheduled for Fri 3 Aug but received call that he had overbooked for that day - rescheduled for Wed 8 Aug. Called 10 minutes before arrival, showed up promptly, serviced door in question. Finished within an hour.

Andrew and Josh did a remarkable job in dismantling our old doors and installing our new ones. They even went above and beyond by pointing out to me that an existing water line was rubbing against my old garage door motor track which they did not install. I asked if they could adjust and they indicated that they'd be happy to make that adjustment, and for no additional charge. I would recommend Legacy Garage Doors for their professional attitude, knowledge and installation.

The guys did a great job! I didn't have any trouble scheduling them to come out, they arrived on time and straightened my crumpled garage door. They also ran a check on the door to see if it was functioning properly. They balanced the wheels without my even asking. I am so pleased with the work they did and my garage door is back to normal.
