Legacy Garage Doors

We were very pleased with Legacy Garage Doors. They were professional and provided a highly competitive quote for the heavy-duty doors (they did offer a lower quote for a less expensive door, but we opted for sturdier, higher quality doors). Their proposal and quote was the most complete and detailed of all the providers we considered -- precise description of the work to be done so that there were no surprises, longer warranty for parts and labor, and included servicing the openers. And, on the day the work was scheduled, they showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up. And, they even took Before and After photos just like we requested. Would we use them again? You betcha!

Legacy definitely specializes in customer service and punctuality. Our house was built in 1995 and the previous owners NEVER completed a maintenance on the garage doors. I called and spoke with Josh (who was wicked friendly and understanding) and was able to set up a last minute and fairly late appointment. They were willing to work around our schedules to complete an overhaul on our garage doors. They were quick, efficient and informative, explained every detail that was necessary to make sure we are able to maintain moving forward. Immediately after they were complete there was a significant difference. The noise was EXPONENTIALLY less. Now I can sleep through my husband leaving in the mornings, if I ever get that chance, without waking up from the doors. Well worth it!

They did a very good job. They came right away. Explained what they needed to do and what it would cost. Did it right away. I paid them and they were on their way. They were polite and clean.

Well I have 2 doors and one was not working electrically ( it worked manually). The service from the Angie's list was to oil/lube one door and replace the rollers on one door. I needed the other door repaired. So he analyzed the problem, rewired the door and had to replace the sensors and I bought a new remote. The ones I had for whatever season would not work. Now both doors work better and smoother than I ever remember them working. I am very satisfied ...

These guys were here exactly right on time. The two of them looked over the problems our garage door had and explained what they could do to fix them. After the short conversation, we agreed on what they were doing and the price. They mentioned they could upgrade our system but as soon as I said "No thanks", they got to work. They were here for less than half an hour and the garage is working flawlessly and quietly.

Couldn't be happier with the new opener. Very very quiet. Folks who did installation were very pleasant and accomodating.

I had purchased one of Angie's Big Deal coupons to tuneup my garage door. when the guys from Legacy Garage came out, they told me the main problem I was having with my doors was that the springs were undersized for the size/weight of our doors. The frustrating part of all of this was I just had the springs replaced on the one door about 16 months earlier. Back at that time, the door seemed okay but just continued to get worse. as much as I didn't want to spend more money above the "Big Deal" price, I went ahead and had Legacy fix both doors. For both doors, they replaced the springs, replaced rollers and adjusted the rails which were out of alignment for some time, which I didn't know about. Now both of our garage doors are as 'smooth as butter' when they open and close. Even our grandkids who currently live with us noticed how quiet the doors now operate. They used to cover their ears whenever we opened the doors! Going forward, I will always contact Legacy for any garage door issues and will always highly recommend them.

Initial call at 11:30am, Onsite at 12:30, Finished at 1PM. Josh and Andrew took care of it very quickly and professionally. Call them if you need garage door repair.

Their service was excellent. The people that came out were very knowledgeable about the garage door and fixed my problem.

The steel rollers were changed out with nylon rollers and the cables were replaced. I didn't really notice any change in the smoothness or noise level as I was led to believe though.

Very quick response time from initial call to next day service. Both technicians were very professional, were on time, kept me updated on work progress, and presented some helpful tips on how to better maintain my garage door in the future to avoid pre-mature failure. Price was much less than I expected. Would definitely use them again & recommend to others.

I had a very good experience with this company. I called them and explained what was going on with my door. Andrew immediately understood what was wrong with it and gave me a quote for the job. I asked them to go ahead and put me on their schedule and they came out right away. They did what they said they would do, fast, neatly and the price was exactly what they said it would be, plus about 80 dollars for an extra reinforcement they recommended and I agreed to put it. It couldn't have run more smoothly. Nice guys, good workmanship, couldn't have asked for better.

They were good. We did buy a spring that was broken. They were very professional.

They were quick to respond. I got same day service on the quote, and they were able to install my door first thing on Tuesday morning after the holiday. They were quick, efficient and courteous. Garage doors are a great deal more expensive that I realized .

Excellent customer service I called the day before, they gave me an estimate for a new opener on the phone and offered to come out the next day. They arrived on time as stated and performed an excellent job.

I called asking for someone to come here to get me a quote, since my garage door is stuck and off track, so I want quotes first before I get the service done to make sure I'm paying a fair price, since it looks like it will be around 500 dollars to repair (not just a regular 80 dollars). He said: "This doesn't look like a service that needs an estimate and that if multiple companies are coming to give me a quote, then I should go with one of them.". AMAZING!

Both of the men were extremely professional and courteous. They got the work done in an efficient but quick manner and even helped me start one of my cars to move out of the garage. They gave complete explanations of what they recommended and I would definitely use them again.

They called ahead to let me know they were coming and arrived just ahead of schedule. The job was completed by the 2 service technicians within 2 hours. And the results and cleanup was awesome!

Legacy's service was top notch from the initial phone call to schedule an estimate through a return visit a week after installation to upgrade the gasket at the door bottom. They provided appointments within a couple days of my call and showed up on time. Upon seeing our home, they immediately realized that we'd need a door shorter than the 7' standard - something that not all bidders noticed. They were also alert to the presence of a stage set for a kids' creative problem solving competition and suggested that we might want to consider replacing our existing tracks with ones that run MUCH higher - close to the garage ceiling - and a side-mounted opener to eliminate the bar running down the center of the garage. We weren't aware of these options previously and no other bidder mentioned them, but we elected to go with their suggestions and only wish we'd known about it and done it years ago. There's now LOTS more headroom in the garage with the door open, something that our young problem-solvers would've loved for in-garage practice in prior years! Our new door looks fabulous, is insulated to R10+, operates smoothly and quietly with the new opener - basically, we're 100% satisfied with the product and it is exactly as represented to us during the estimation phase. Andrew and Josh were a pleasure to deal with at every step of the process - they are pleasant, professional, and very efficient in their work habits.
